I have been working on this little cross-stitch project for my sister for SO long. Like, months? I meant to have it finished by her birthday (Sept. 23rd...) But she's coming to visit me next weekend, so that's my new goal :) I'm bad about never finishing personal projects. (Actually, if I finish this, I think it will be my first-ever 100% completed cross-stitch project!) Sometime's I'm so close to finishing, too. For example I have a beautiful (Liberty of London!) quilt completely quilted and everything, just waiting for the binding. It could take me as little as an hour to finish it, but I just can't bring myself to do it! I'm a weirdo... I'm trying to get better. The pattern is called Donut Pals by The Frosted Pumpkin Stitchery. I'm cross stiching on linen, which is the best to cross-stitch on. It's faster and prettier! (Not sure what count this is.) I decided to do the sprinkle donut because Elyse loves sprinkles, and thought it would be extra cute to make it with pink frosting instead of chocolate. Tasty! <3 Lindsay
