Para catar este cigarro de manera correcta y pagando el debido respeto; decidí armar un kit de maridaje que incluyo varias tasas de café negro amargo (Borbonne mezcla roja); y un trago de ron Brugal 1888 acompañado de chorros de agua fría, como recomiendan los escoceses tratar el whisky de malta. Con estas herramientas, la idea fue complementar el perfil que tiene el cigarro de tostados de café y cocoa amarga; y, sus demás perfiles aflorados y especiados.&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;b&gt;En el segundo tercio&lt;/b&gt;, hizo un excelente cambio a notas florales y especias donde sentíamos la nuez moscada pues había un fondo dulce y de picor detrás de la lengua. Cabe destacar que el tiro se mantuvo impecable y en cada calada el volumen de humo fue excepcional. Al cambiar al &lt;b&gt;tercer tercio&lt;/b&gt;, era de esperarse una subida de fortaleza, pero nada fuera de lo común y los retro nasales se mantuvieron poco invasivos. Este es sin duda un cigarro para el día a día, del que podemos disfrutar a prima mañana con un buen café; como al caer la tarde con un buen trago en mano!&lt;/div&gt;

Para dar un resumen, básicamente, luego de hervir los plátanos. Para hacer el mangú el toque nuestro es que mientras se maja vamos incorporando un toque de agua caliente y mantequilla. Cuando ya esta bastante desbaratado, cambiamos a agua fría para evitar se ponga duro rápido e inmediatamente incorporamos las cebolla caramelizadas que previamente habíamos hecho!!&lt;/div&gt;

Con esto de la pandemia y las cuarentenas de cada país. Definitivamente un problema recurrente es, la falta de insumos en nuestras bodegas de abastecimientos o súper mercados. La gente con un frenesí sin igual, vacía las estanterías de papel de baño, como las neveras de carne y embutidos. Lo mas bueno... sin saber específicamente por que y para que les servirá, guardar tanto alimento sin la debida rotación. El mismo terminara en gran parte en los basureros lamentablemente!&lt;br /&gt;

Ya me paso la semana anterior, que cuando fui a buscar carne molida, se había agotado. No lo vi como un problema pues, la carne molida que uso, me gusta con la formula de hamburguesa que uso. (Esa receta vendrá mas adelante) lo primero que debo identificar es cual sera mi carne magra, y cual sera la que aporte grasa.&lt;br /&gt;

En ese tenor, lo elegido fue: Filete de bola de res, y Osso Buco ya deshuesado. Aunque no tengan moledora en casa, no hay problema, pues en el súper mercado deberían poder molerla y usted paga las etiquetas de envoltura. La proporción de molienda debe ser (según mi receta) 80% filete y 20% de osso buco por ende por cada libra debe haber 12.8 Oz de filete y 3.2 Oz de osso buco.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Así tendrán una carne molida con una rica grasa y sabores exquisitos que aporta el osso buco y quizá, hasta un poco de tuétano que ayuda al colágeno tan necesario en nuestras coyunturas después de los 35 años de edad.&lt;br /&gt;

Cuenta con 7 tabacos diferentes 👀; con capote de añejamiento a 4 años; la capa añejada a 9 años; y, uno de los tabacos cuenta con 16 años de añejamiento. Cabe destacar que usa capa &lt;i&gt;&lt;b&gt;Yamasá&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/i&gt; y que saldría al mercado con al menos 3 vitolas.&lt;br /&gt;

En esta ocasión, fije la mira en uno de los productos de mayor batalla en estos tiempos, el chicharrón! y no cualquier, si no que tomamos el popular Hugo Pork, y le hicimos unos ligeros cambios para jugar un poco con los sabores.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Casi para nadie es un secreto, que mi comida preferida tiene que ver con todo lo que tenga influencia asiática. Así que para cubrir estos dos gustos adquiridos, que los mortales no tienen mucha idea al respecto; adobamos este pedazo de gloria, unas dos horas antes con lo siguiente:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
* Curry amarillo *Salsa de soya *Puerro fino *Miel *Ajo en polvo *Cebollita picada *Polvo 5 especias&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Primero, cogimos una puntilla e hicimos múltiples orificios a la capa. Esta ayudara a que la misma se infle en el horneado. Después, procedimos a cortar el chicharrón en la parte de la carne, haciendo surcos donde entraríamos el adobo. Por ultimo, adobamos con todos los ingredientes y dejamos en frío por dos horas para que cogiera sabor.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Al horno según recomendaciones del producto... Et voila!&lt;br /&gt;

Last year they decided to recreate this cigar again, and it was released at the IPCPR show.&amp;nbsp; The cigar is made entirely of Dominican tobaccos and available in the three sizes mentioned above.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The wrapper of this cigar is medium to dark in color and features a light oily sheen to it.&amp;nbsp; The wrapper of the La Aurora 100 Años also features some medium sized veins running through it.&amp;nbsp; The band of this cigar is one of my favorites!&amp;nbsp; Prominently featured on the front of the band is the La Aurora lion with Aurora printed above and 100 Años below.&amp;nbsp; The primary colors of this band are Red and Gold, it has a very classy look.&amp;nbsp; There is also a secondary band below with the number of the cigar.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Flavor wise get ready for some excitement in your mouth!&amp;nbsp; Immediately I was greeted with cedar and wood notes as well as a mild pepper flavoring.&amp;nbsp; This tobacco also gives off a somewhat sweet taste to it.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Burn wise this cigar was perfect!&amp;nbsp; The draw was open and effortless.&amp;nbsp; This cigar was constructed so well, the ash only fell when I ashed it.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Buy it again, you bet.&amp;nbsp; The La Aurora 100 Años is priced a bit higher than my everyday smokes, but it is an excellent cigar for the money, and worth every penny.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Actually, I am wondering if I need to make a trip to see my buddy Scott to pick some more up tomorrow!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I had the pleasure of visiting the La Aurora factory last April (2012) with then manager of Uptowns Smoke Shop, Scott Partridge along with a small group of friends.&amp;nbsp; What I can say is that your mind will be blown if you ever get the opportunity to go on one of these in depth factory tours.&amp;nbsp; I have been a certified cigar nerd for a very long time, but my whole opinion of the cigar industry changed after visiting La Aurora.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Seeing first hand the time and care that is put into the making of every cigar was astounding.&amp;nbsp; I met some amazing people there and forged friendships that will last a lifetime.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div&gt;
