Hi,
I have a dual gate liftmaster cb24 with 2 pairs of Chamberlain Photocells on the close. It has worked for about a year no problem, Recently the gates won't shut, the close photo flashes for a split second and stops them. I have checked all the wiring and it is fine. If I disconnect either pair, the gates close fine, it's only when both pairs are connected it doesn't close any thoughts?
Thank you

Hi

I had gates fitted last year, and the installer really did not appear to know what he was doing when it came to wiring up the hardware.

I have the Liftmaster CB124EV control board with the add on 207399 electric lock add on transformer. There is a Maglock on the swing gates to hold them closed, and a Locinox dropbolt to anchor the 'second' gate when closed.

After the initial few weeks of install the Locinox stopped releasing in time for the gates to open, (it had been working perfectly until then).

I have seen the Mag lock wiring diagram further down this forum, thank you :-). Now trying to reverse engineer the rats nest of cables the installer has left in the box, as he has somehow tied in the mag lock wiring the the lamp terminals on the control board as well.

Is there a wiring diagram for the 207399 which shows what all of the terminals are?

Is there any guidance on how to make the Locinox work correctly, at the moment the installer left it installed but propped up on a block of wood.

Fingers crossed

Hi, Just joined the forum,

I have installed basic Liftmaster SCS324BK-EV kits at my house, two sets of double gates. keyfob and safety photo cells only.

I have just purchased the same kit for my sons house but with some added extras and i am getting confused with some of the connections. the following is a list of the optional extras:

- Senable sensors loop detector with Prastel WIRE 1 loop for exit
- AX-S RFID standalone keypad for car post installation
- EZVIZ HP7 smart home video doorphone

I am trying to figure out which wire connects where on th egate panel as the sybols and cable identifiers dont seem to match with the Gate manual wiring diagram.

I tried copying th egatre manyual wireing diagrams and print on A3 but cant get the quality/claaity. I was hopeing to draw on the diagram which terminals are used with which device.
I am presuming the door video and gatepad with connect to the same inputs.
Also I am not sure which terminals i can take off a 24V feed fro the Keypad and loop sensor.

Can anyone help please, either with a good electronic picure of the gate panel or explaingin which wire goes where before I start and bombard Easygate techs (who are very helpful) with questions...
As the title :-)
All being 24 volt versions, what is the actual difference between them? I know that the SCS has the slung-under screw rod, and the LYNs are extending 'rams', but what difference does this make in practice? Is one better than the other?

And will they all work from the same board, the CB124?
I can’t see a way to lubricate the threaded rods that extend and retract the pistons. Any suggestions on how to go about doing this?

Hi there,

My Liftmaster MyQ internet gateway was working fine until I switched broadband providers at which point it refused to connect to my new router. I checked the Liftmaster website and confirmed that my Virgin Router (Virgin Hub 3.0/VMDG505) is not listed as incompatible with the gateway. I have tried different router ports, soft and hard resets of the gateway and even deleted it from my MyQ list of devices in the hope that I could reconnect it as a new device. All to no avail.

The MyQ team based in the US say my gateway device appears OK to them and are blaming my "new router operating at a higher speed than the gateway can keep up with". Which is kind of b*llocks as I've actually downgraded my broadband internet speed! They say I need to buy and use something called a "cross over cable".

Symptoms

When I try to set up the gateway using the MyQ app by entering the gateway's serial number, I get error code 310. The guides say that means the gateway is on another user's account and unable to register. (Since I have removed the gateway from my account, how can this be? Is this something the MyQ team have to resolve in their own database?)

When I try hard or soft resets as per manufacturer instructions, the green and blue lights on the gateway flash briefly, then the orange, then nothing. The green light is supposed to stay on to show the device has connected to my router. There is no problem with power and all ports of my router are operating fine with other devices.

Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated!!!

Regards

Regards

Hello there!

First post so please treat me gently! I'm fitting a sliding gate with a CB22 controller.

I'd like to add a second pair of 771e photocells just higher up as the text suggests you should. Currently the only wiring diagram I have is in the manual as shown below:

 IMG_20200802_145555833.jpg (Size: 1.78 MB / Downloads: 968)

Testing with a meter and the two CLOSE terminals don't have continuity?

I can't figure what the dotted line to 16 and other to 17 are supposed to signify.

I assume all the negatives common up but where do I connect the + of the new pair.

These will be one side of the gate. If I'd then like to add two pairs the other side of the gate. Are there any wiring diagrams to do this?

Hoping that all makes sense!

Many thanks
