This card reader can read and write nine types of memory cards, they are Memory Stick, Memory Stick Duo, Memory Stick Micro (M2), SD-Card, SDHD Card, Multimedia Card (MMC) and DV Card.
I do not use all those slots, I only use it to read SD-Card from my digital camera, Micro-SD card from my phone, and Memory Stick Duo from my brother's Playstation Portable, connected to the USB 2.0 port on my computer.
I bought it for Rp.19.900 (approximately U.S. $ 2.4), this made in china device is a reliable and strong, it never failed to read various memory cards, at a low price I have pretty much benefit.

LG Internal GH22 Super Multi DVD Rewriter 22x IDE

I bought it earlier this year to replace my CD-RW that has often not functioning properly, you might think "Come on, you just bought a DVD-RW in the year 2011?" Where nowadays is the era of Blu-Ray.
Yeah right, maybe I'm outdated, but in the past I feel don't need to have a DVD ROM or even DVD-RW, but this year due to the circumstances and because the price of this device is already very low, so I decided to buy it, especially now that the price of Blu -Ray ROM or RW is still very expensive for me.
I bought it for Rp. 195,000 or about USD $ 23. and I regret why I did not buy this earlier, because a piece of blank DVD capacity is about six time a blank CD, and the price of blank DVD and blank CD price is the same at Rp. 2,500 or about USD $ 0.3 (30 cents).
With this DVR-RW now I able to save about four of my movie collection in a single DVD, but apparently now the availability film on the Internet already in HD format which is more than 1 gigabyte each film, and sometimes it requires one blank DVD to saving one film only, times have changed indeed.

I got this cellphone as a gift from my sister, I really like this and these things are never out of my hands, wherever and whenever, including when I sleep, except when I take a bath, I didn't want this my favorite thing splashed by the water .
I liked its 3.15 pixel camera, where I can shoot anything with good results, it can be in 4:3 or 16:9 format and also in panorama, the weakness it could not take pictures in the dark, because it had no flash.

Although it can be tricked with a night mode but when take a picture you should not be shaking a bit, and there must be sufficient light such as fluorescent lights.

this phone has everything required for a smart phone, Bluetooth, 3G, GPS, WLAN, internet browser, camera, video, java applications, and much more, it can used for video calls even though I've never had the opportunity to try it.
It is slim, thin and very fit in the palm of my fat hand.
I love this thing, but now it's gone, someone stole it from me, damn that thief. I hope it now on the hand who also loved it.

Canon CanoScan LiDE 100 Flatbed Scanner

I bought this scanner last year, I find this tool quite meet my needs, it can scan images with excellent results, my old photographs collection digitalized well, so can I save them in the files that can be burn onto a CD or DVD. The scanning process is also quite fast, at 600dpi mode can scan A4 size photos in less than a minute.
To scan a document it is also quite good, all forms of document whether it be offset printing, the printer prints or handwriting can be scanned perfectly, even the fibers and wrinkles in the paper will be seen clearly.

I can scan three-dimensional objects with this tool, the results are quite good, although the LED lighting is not bright enough to be able to capture the details well.

Only one weakness, I should make sure the sheet that I want to scan completely flat against the scanner glass, I usually give little weight on the lid, because if not exactly flat then the scan results will be shaded dark or color piebald.

I bought it a month ago, at Rp.82.000 (U.S. $ 7), a box-shaped USB FlashDrive with dragon image on the cover which is very small and thin.
It is only measuring 1.2x3x0.5 cm, just turn the cover 180 degrees to use it, the plug with gold colored lines will appear, and then plug in it on the USB 2.0 port on the computer.
I like this USB FlashDrive because of the small size, but I worry if I drop it somewhere this thing will be lost because it is too small.

I bought this machine a few months ago, using money from my adsense check, it was very good device with some very useful features that meet all my entertainment needs, I can watch movies with a variety of media such as DVD, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, CD, CD-G, CD-R, CD-RW, and USB Flash Disk. this tool can play movies with various formats such as DVD, Video-CD, Div-X (avi, mpg, mpeg, divx), and WMV. with subsitle in variety formats such as srt, ass, ssa, sub, and txt.
I am satisfied with the performance of this machine, because more than I can play movie, I also can listening to music with MP3, AC3, and WMA formats and listening music from radio receiver, and also I can plug in two microphones in this machine and sing a song together with my family using karaoke feature, after singing I can see the score for my sing on screen and hear a fanfare sound if my score is good. This is all in one machine, I bought it for Rp. 1.200.000, - (US$ 109) with voucher cut Rp. 50.000, - (US$4.5) in the Electronics-City Store in my town.

When I browsing my old cabinet I found my first ever musical instrument, it is a Casio VL-1 the most popular organ in my childish era. This is not only a musical instrument but also can be used for calculator, hahaha a very big and dificult to use calculator :D

Samsung SyncMaster 750S White 17" CRT Monitor

I bought this monitor several weeks ago in second hand condition, actually I was planned to bought the new 15 inch CRT monitor on the computer shop near my home, but the owner of that shop asked me if I want to bought one of several used monitors from his game rental, he planned to change them with LCD. The monitors that he told were 17 inch Samsung 750s, and the best deal was when he told to sold it at Rp.350,000 (around US$ 38), when the market price for second hand 17 inch monitor is around Rp. 400,000 to Rp. 450,000 (US$ 44 to US$ 49).

Then at home I plug it on my Ge-Force 6200 graphic card on my computer and whoa a big screen display appear in front of me, I change the desktop resolution to 1024 x 768 pixels, and the first thing I did was installing the “Rise of Nation” game that previously cannot be played on my old 14 inch monitor, because this game need minimum 1024 x 768 screen resolution to be played.

This is a good old monitor with enhanced technology, the maximum resolutions is 1280 x 1024 with 0.23 mm dot pitch, and 90 watts maximum electric consumption.

My First Modem

I bough it at Pasaraya Blok M (a mall in Block M area at Jakarta) and I attached it on my 486 computer, I used CBN Internet Service Provider, that was the nearest ISP from my city in the year 1995. This was a Zoltrix 14.400 kbps external modem, I still remembered when surfing in the middle of the night, because the phone fee in cheaper at night, you can get 3 minutes per pulse at night, while at mid day you will get 2 minutes per pulse. I take a 20 hours monthly package from my ISP, so I always make sure to not over limited and always noted the used hours on the sheet near my computer.
What the first thing I searching in internet? Yes, right! The porno websites :)
How about the speed? I still remember when I was downloading a 1 megabyte file for hours, the speed was about 1 kbps to 3 kbps, and I must repeat downloading when the connection is stopped, there was no resuming download software in that year (or I don't know about that?)
And the sad moment was when I must paid the telephone bill that exploded triple times after I use the internet.

KODAK Disc 4000 Camera

In 1982 Kodak was launching a camera that using disc as the film, but don't ever thinking about CD or DVD, the disc film is made from negative film that built in round format, the images of photo shot are printed on the side of the disc and you can put 15 images on a single disc.

I have one of this camera, it was an unique and innovative camera in the 80's era, fit in the pocket and easy to use, with its sophisticated and modern looks, this slim silver camera can made other person attention while I use it outdoor. But as a compact camera the picture production is not sharp, because from the tiny negative image you will get blurry picture while printed on photo paper.
Nowadays I can't find the disc negative film for this camera, Kodak is discontinuing this product.

I went with my entire family to Glodok Plaza to buy a television to replace our old Nordmende 14 inch television. There was a lot of type and brand, but we choose this Polyvision 21 inch television, a brand from Polytron Group. The price is cheap for 21 inch television with sub-woofer, stereo surround sound, picture in picture, NICAM/Zweiton multi sytem, and Teletext facilities, only 1.5 million Rupiah, while other brands were prices above 2 million.

Sub-Woofer

This TV has build-in Sub-Woofer speaker on its back cassis, two speakers that mounted in the side direction with air hole that directed to the top. These speakers can produce big bass sound that spreading to the entire room. But you can set the bass level to high because this sub-woofer speaker box made from plastic that will make a vibrating noise.

Picture-in-picture

I like this facility because I can see other channel in small screen, without disturbing the program that I watch. I can switch the program between big screen and small screen in one click using remote control. Nowadays you will difficult to find a 21 inch television with picture-in-picture facility, usually you can find it on big screen TV such as projection TV or widescreen LCD/Plasma TV.

Now this TV is more than ten years old age, and had been repaired several times, but I don’t want to replace it with the new one, because I need this picture-in-picture facility.

Microsoft Wired Desktop 500 Keyboard + Mouse

Wow this is the first branded Keyboard I ever bought, this is a Microsoft product that bundled a keyboard with an optical mouse, all of them are wired with cable, the keyboard has PS/2 connector and the mouse has USB connector with USB to PS/2 adapter.

I need some adaptation to use this keyboard, because there are several keypad layout that different from standard keyboard, the home, insert, delete, end, page up and page down button are in vertical layout that make me always press the wrong button in this area.
And the keypad letter is too small and in grey color that make the user difficult to see in dark.

This is spill resistant keyboard, but I'm too afraid try to spill a glass of water on this keyboard, maybe the claim is true because I see some hole on the bottom of keyboard.

But I like to use this keyboard, the keypad is soft and quite, and the Microsoft branded name is make my proud to show off to my friends.

Olympus FE-110 Digital Camera

This Olympus FE-110 Digital Camera is simple and easy to use, but this is not my mine, this belong to my cousin, and I even to borrow it because I don’t have this device yet, it is still expensive for me.
This camera has 5.0 Mega pixels, and has 2.8x optical zoom, plus 4x Digital Zoom, the zoom quality is good and can make great detail picture without blur, even if you zoom it again using picture processor software on your computer.

Optical Mouse

I like this kind of mouse, great thanks for all inventors which created this great idea for the mouse. Now I never cleaning the ugly ball from the mouse, this annoying job was gone. The Optical Mouse with bright red light is the great device to moving the cursor on the computer screen, this mouse can be put on any place on my computer desk without using mouse pad again, even I usually use this Optical Mouse on my hip, so I can lie down on my chair while browsing the internet with my computer.
Wow, I’m glad to use this device, and my next need in my buy list is Wireless Optical Mouse, or the little size type that called mice, maybe that will be great while attached to my computer.

Pen Drive - USB Flash Memory Stick Module

The end of Floppy Disk is coming, today everybody use Flash Disk to saving their computer data, me too :)
I have a 128MB PenDrive Flash Disk with Giraffe rubber PenSkinz, I bought it several months ago, with a little disappointed because in the next month the price was reduced to half :(
There is no standard name for this device, sometime called with USB Flash Disk, USB Flash Stick, USB Disk, USB Flash Drive, USB Drive, etc.
The Flash name is came from the memory IC (Integrated Circuit) type that used with this device, knowing as Electronic Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory, usually used for BIOS IC on Computer Motherboard. This IC can be use to saving data and will keep that data even no electricity on it, difference from RAM (Random Access Memory) that will erased all data after no electricity supply on it.

I bought this computer with money that earned from internet business, I love this computer, it is not Pentium 4 but the speed can be compared with them, this is fast and reliable, can work with multiple program that I always do everyday, it work from early morning and shutdown in the middle of the night, how strong is it?
This computer using AMD Athlon XP Thoroughbred 2400 processor, which works at 2000 MHz speed. With 512 DDR 3200 Memory and 80 Gigabyte Hard drive.
I put several fans added to this system because I had experience with the heat problem with this processor, I just knowing if the statement about heat problem with AMD Processor is true, so I must sure the air circulation in my CPU Case is free to flow, even I opened all of the 5.12" bays for air input. The noisy sound of the entire fans will heard when I turn this computer on. I planned to change the cooling system with water cooler, but this device is still expensive for me.
Now I'm collecting my money to buy a graphic card, because I'm bored to use the on board Graphic Adapter that have limitation to running the latest Game Title.
That is my Computer, I am still love it and don't want to upgrade it yet.

Animation Movies Technology

Wow, today we can se unreal creature on movies, I just see the King Kong Movie and amaze with the beautiful and realistic King Kong character, with the natural moving and smooth camera angel, so we can feel like go inside the scene of the movie.
3D software technology is improved everyday and even can be used in home PC, of course if we have the latest computer type.
Maybe in the tomorrow we can see movie in 3D holographic projection, and we can really feel like inside the movie with scenery surrounding us.
Or maybe the film industry doesn't need actor and actress again, just create any persons that they want in animation software, and put them in the artificial scene.

I still use this cell phone today, it is a business class phone when it was launched, not ordinary phone that other people use usually. I was very happy when bought this phone, even in second hand conditions. The battery live can be five day in stand by mode, and two day if I use it in the whole day.
I like the infra red facility, I can transferred data to other phone which have infra red port, and if I meet someone which have other Nokia Cell Phone with infra red, we can play snake game together.
The menu is very complete, I can scheduled my daily activity in calendar menu, and I like the group option that can divide my friend number and my business partner number, and can put different ringtone for each individual.
I love this cell phone.

Logitech Wingman Extreme Digital 3D Joystick

At least I can buy this device, when my last cheap joystick was broken. This is an expensive joystick that I had been dream on. This joystick is big and heavy, easy to grip and fast response to play simulator game on my PC. I like to play Star Lancer game with this joystick.
This is using USB connector with cable adapter to plug in to legacy MIDI/GAME port.
Since I didn't play plane simulator again, this device is saved in its red box on the cabinet near my computer.

This is my first Cellular Phone, I bought it from my friend in second hand condition.
It is a slim phone, the cell phone thin is around 1 centimeter because I use thin battery. The LCD screen is only can showing three text row with green LED illuminated.
It is a simple and easy to use cell phone, with Calculator, Alarm and SMS capability, and the antenna is good in receiving GSM signal.
My favorite is I can make my own ring tone by inputting several note code in this phone.
This is the Cell Phone from early booming era with no Colorful LCD Screen, camera, Bluetooth, MMS, GPRS, WAP, Symbian OS, touch screen, polyphonic ring tone, or any technology that often common included in today Cell Phone era.

Celeron 333 Computer

When I was quit from my job because of economic recession, I had built my own computer shop. I bought six second hand 486 Computers, and two brand new Celeron 333 Computers, all these computer are for rented for the students from Gunadarma University near my shop.
I'm not going to tell story about my shop, but I want to tell about these Celeron 333 Computer.
I assembled this computer by myself, these computers using PC-Chip ExCell 2000 Motherboard, 128 Megabyte SDRAM module, and Intel Celeron 333 Processor, with 4,3 Gigabyte Seagate Hard disk and 14 inch GTC Monitor.
When my shop closed in the night, I always use one of these computers to playing game, my favorite is Age of Empire and Need for Speed.
Because in my home I still using the 486 Computer, just for writing letters and do accounting jobs.
The Celeron Processor was the reduced price of Pentium II Processor, with less cache memory (128K on-chip cache, when PII using 256K) and using socket 370, this was the era when Slot 1 was not used again, back to the levered socket called socket 370 that much easy to installed than the Slot 1.
With the lower price we can have fast computer with same specification as Pentium II Computer, even you can overclocking this Celeron and make it faster than the Pentium II Processor.

My little brother bought this machine.
It was his dream to buy this device, every time we went to Electronic Fair, He always spent a lot of time in the Audio Device Section, and so after he got a job as a Chef in Hilton Hotel - Jakarta, he bought his dream machine.
This is a good electronic device; this machine has two big speaker boxes with big bass air holes and two little satellite speakers, it can produce a good sound with big bass effect and crispy treble sound. I never try to turn the volume knob to the maximum level, because with a quarter levels this machine can make a big sound that can vibrating my house.
My family can watch Video CD movies with best quality picture and sound, better than watching Video CD from my 486 Computer.

Note: I had been searching over internet to find its picture, and found the right picture in the name of AIWA NSX-S888, a little bit strange because in my country its series is NSX-K880.
