Should we pay attention to all these?

Yes, of course, but very, very, very carefully. Why?

Please watch the short video below and then read my view below.

Now here are some of my personal arguments:

1. Human life on the Earth as all forms of life in the Universe are predetermined by the interplay of three types of forces: the laws of Nature (the Higher World), social circumstances and human behavior. The least understood and underestimated one is human behavior and consciousness - as a force behind both creation and destruction. The vast majority of people disregard or just do not understand this. They do not even suspect that their everyday emotions and thoughts produce individual and collective actions and influence their lives. This is why all predictions related to the year 2012 should take into account human behavior and the decisive role of consciousness.

2. Human behavior is deeply rooted in human nature as illustrated by the current global existential crisis. Its root cause is our Ego. Getting rid of the Ego is a slow and painful process, involving the complete change of our basic values and relationships on all levels in order to avoid Nature's severe punishment - a total annihilation of life on the Earth. However, getting rid of the Ego is inevitable while the price to be paid is unclear as attested by one of the greatest ancient teachings - the science of Kabbalah (offered FREELY in more than 20 languages).

Global consciousness is being raised right now. A large number of enlightened persons are working to raise it among people in many countries. There is some hope to avoid at least a man-made catastrophe, especially World War III.

3. Emotions, especially fear, are well known tools for mass control. A lot of people speak about doom, Apocalypse, final annihilation, Judgment day, etc. They pump fear into the hearts of people, using fear to control or exploit them. These people can be found everywhere, talking about death, the shifting of the axis of the Earth, about floods and earthquakes, and about the numerous diseases or worldwide pandemia which are supposedly going to engulf humanity. Most of these people are false prophets. Some of them are pessimists. Many of them have hidden interests behind their words. Some are just greedy and evil people. The freedom and anonymity of the Internet make all these people powerful and dangerous! However, nowadays more and more people are becoming aware of these tricks. Politicians, false prophets and egoists are having great difficulties in using this type of mass control.

4. There is also another, second kind of people - the so called naive optimists or sleeping fools. They accept life only in rosy colors. Everything is beautiful and just right for them. They are satisfied with life. No matter what happens, they feel safe, content, happy. They sleep all their life under the blanket of ignorance or indifference until the flood comes and dumps them into the ocean. Such people allow evil to spread roots and eventually become unstoppable. They indirectly encourage activities which lead to destruction. Such people are not only optimistic fools, but also cowards, who hide behind their selfish interests and let evil grow around them.

5. Finally, the third kind of people are those who see the danger, the corruption, the pollution, and all the evils. They take conscious action to prevent its expansion, without pessimism but with inflamed optimism. They know that all people are eternal energy beings living in synchrony with the Earth and the Universe.

They see the situation clearly. They see the growing power of evil as well as the difficulties and obstacles on the path. However, they never lose hope and determination to fight with evil. They know that progress comes when there are crises and obstacles, against which victory can be won only with hope and determination. They feel that all events going on upon Earth are watched by Higher Forces with higher resources of power which, in unexpected times, come to the rescue.

6. Let me also remind you that our strength is HERE and NOW, not in some distant future or the past. The more this truth is realized and collective actions for unity and global coherence undertaken, the more hope and final success may be achieved.

7. What can be said about scientifically verified facts and predictions that are not profit motivated or otherwise ill-intentioned? How about the so called "transfiguration scenario" (the re-alignment of suns and planets)showing that our solar system is moving into a more highly-energized region of the Galaxy)?
To read all ---> Click here!

How Hybrid Cars Work

Have you pulled your car up to the gas pump lately and been shocked by the high price of gasoline? As the pump clicked past $20, $30, $40 or even $50, maybe you thought about trading in your car for something that gets better mileage. Or maybe you're worried that your car is contributing to the greenhouse effect.
The auto industry has the technology to address these concerns. It's the hybrid car. There are a lot of hybrid models on the market these days, and most automobile manufacturers have announced plans to manufacture their own versions.

See more pictures of hybrid cars

Want to know how to cut your gas bill without a lot of money and start using water as fuel?

Watch the amazing video "Water as Fuel".

California to build electric car network

SAN FRANCISCO - As Congress considers bailing out a U.S. auto industry damaged by its dependence on fossil fuel-hogging SUVs, San Francisco Bay Area leaders on Thursday unveiled plans for a $1 billion regional network of charging stations for electric cars.

Silicon Valley startup Better Place will construct the network, deploying thousands of chargers for electric cars on the streets of San Francisco, San Jose and Oakland. The cities will be linked by battery swapping stations so drivers can travel longer distances. Better Place, founded by former SAP executive Shai Agassi, previously struck deals with governments in Israel, Denmark and Australia to build electric car networks. This is the well-funded startup’s first move in the U.S. market. Construction on the Bay Area network will begin in 2010 with commercial rollout in 2012.

“This is the start of a regional effort to become the capital of electric vehicles in the United States,” proclaimed San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom at a press conferences at city hall attended by the mayors of San Jose and Oakland as well as representatives from state and federal environmental agencies.
California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger threw his support to the project and...

read all

The electric car economy

Electric cars are as good for the economy as the environment and could put $80 billion in consumers’ pockets by 2030, according to a new study from the University of California.
Not surprisingly, the oil industry would take a $175 billion hit under the scenario sketched by UC Berkeley’s Global Venture Lab, while a booming battery business would gain $130 billion as the internal combustion engine sputters out. “There will also be significant changes in the balance of payments among nations as petroleum imports decline,” the authors wrote. “We find the net imports of the U.S. will decline by $20 billion.”

The report makes several assumptions to arrive at its optimistic conclusions: The Cal researchers are counting on 39% of cars on the road to be electric by 2030 and powered by electricity generated from renewable sources like wind and solar.

Electric car owners would save an estimated $7,203 in operating costs, mainly because with no engines to maintain, battery-powered vehicles rarely see the inside of mechanic’s garage.

Left unexplored in the report was the impact of electric cars on the United States auto industry. If General Motors (GM), Ford (F) and Chrysler survive - and that’s a big if these days - they stand to benefit assuming they retool for the electric age and produce cars consumers want to buy before rivals like Toyota (TM), Honda (HMC) and Renault-Nissan beat them to the punch. But their dealer networks are sure to suffer once their lucrative repair and maintenance business evaporates.

Another winner in the electric car economy will be solar and wind companies and utilities, particularly those like PG&E (PCG) and Southern California Edison (EIX) that are making multi billion-dollar investments in renewable energy.

One of the biggest assumption the Cal report makes involves the rise of a U.S. battery industry. “We don’t have a battery industry today,” said Shai Agassi, CEO of electric car infrastructure startup Better Place, on Friday at a panel Green Wombat moderated for the University of California’s Global Technology Leaders Conference. “Either we make them here or they’re going to be made in China.”

read all

ScienceDaily: Your source for the latest research news and science breakthroughs -- updated daily Science News Share Blog Cite Print Email Bo

A plastic-metal hybrid as a granulate or a strand. In
the next step the conductive material can be plasticized
(softened) again and applied as a printed circuit board.
(Credit: Copyright Fraunhofer IFAM)

ScienceDaily (Dec. 10, 2008) — Plastic that conducts electricity and metal that weighs no more than a feather? It sounds like an upside-down world. Yet researchers have succeeded in making plastics conductive and cutting production costs at the same time.
You could hardly find greater contrasts in one and the same team. Plastic is light and inexpensive, but insulates electric current. Metal is resilient and conducts electricity, but it is also expensive and heavy. Up to now, it has not been possible to combine the properties of these two materials. The IFAM in Bremen has devised a solution that combines the best of both worlds without requiring new machinery to process the components.

The greatest challenge for the researchers was getting the plastic to conduct electricity, for plastic-metal hybrids are to be used in the very places where plastic components are equipped with printed circuit boards, for instance in cars or aircraft. Until now, this was only possible via the roundabout route of punching and bending metal sheets in an elaborate process in order to integrate them in a component.
The new solution is simpler: a composite material...

Be Smart About L.A. It debuted at the 2008 Paris Auto Show, but previews the production version of the 2010 Insight, which will go on sale early in 2009. At the 2008 L.A. Auto Show, Honda said that the Insight will accomplish two goals. The first is providing a low-cost hybrid that will provide the fuel economy of the current Civic Hybrid, but at a base price less than $20,000. The second will be re-establishing Honda as a leader in hybrid technology, and increase sales of its hybrids by 400 percent over the next few years. Sure, it looks a little like a Prius, but if you're going to target that car, why not look like it, too?

Amid bankruptcy fears, mood is subdued at L.A. Auto Show with flashy displays, loud music and stylish new cars.

As the first big auto showcase of the North American model year, the event traditionally has been a chance for automakers to generate buzz for their shiny new vehicles and head-turning concept cars.

This week's show, which runs through Sunday, is attracting buzz all right -- but not for its roadsters. The offerings inside the Los Angeles Convention Center have been overshadowed by events last week on Capitol Hill, where executives from the struggling "Big Three" U.S. automakers pleaded with Congress for a lifeline.

Bankruptcy fears have compounded the difficult task that Chrysler, the Ford Motor Co. and General Motors Corp. face pitching new cars in shaky economic times to a wary public. This challenge is on display here in Los Angeles, where penny-pinching automakers have toned down the glitz and stopped giving away key chains.

NASCAR, meet the electric Chevy Volt

FORT WORTH, Texas (CNN) -- Imagine a sun-swept Texas afternoon in 2015. After the roar of a ceremonial flyover, a Texas Motor Speedway crowd of 200,000 rises to its feet in anticipation of NASCAR's signature moment.

The celeb du jour grabs the microphone and bellows, "Gentlemen, start your engines!"

As the fans join in a full-throated cheer, 43 of the world's best drivers reach down and press a button. What follows is unprecedented: pin-dropping silence, save for 43 small clicks.

This scenario isn't as unfathomable as it may seem. In fact, in a sport whose fans often wear their American pride on their sleeves along with the image of their favorite driver, it may offer a strongly pro-American vision of the future.

NASCAR, meet the Chevrolet Volt, which General Motors believes will become the first mass-produced plug-in electric car on American roads by late 2010. The latest symbol of GM's new mantra, "From gas-friendly to gas-free," the Volt was unveiled to the media last week at Texas Motor Speedway, in the heart of NASCAR country.

<br of calendar 2009. EMCORE has recently responded to several RFPs from public utility companies using Gen-III products as its baseline and expects to receive positive feedback on these proposals before the end of 2008.

EMCORE has announced its deployment of a concentrator photovolataics (CPV) system in China with the XinAo Group, one of China's largest energy companies. As part of an earlier agreement, the 50 kilowatt (kW) test and evaluation system is fully installed and operational, and is producing power in accordance with specifications.
EMCORE and XinAo continue to have discussions regarding the possible construction of a joint-owned plant in China, to manufacture CPV systems designed and certified by EMCORE for its innovative coal gasification project and the Chinese market.

Dr. John Iannelli, Corporate Chief Technology Officer and General Manager of EMCORE's Solar Power Division stated, "We are pleased to introduce the first CPV terrestrial power system in China in partnership with the XinAo Group and look forward to pursuing other solar power opportunities in China's emerging renewable energy market."

In early October, EMCORE was also granted access permits for its 850-kW commercial solar park installation in the Extremedora region of Spain. In addition to these two deployments, EMCORE expects several other pilot sites to be deployed by the end of the year.

New Fusion Solar Messenger Bag

Round Rock TX (SPX) Nov 24, 2008
Keeping your batteries charged and ready to go is an obsession for many consumers of personal electronics. It appears such a bailout is likely to go through, so the question remains: What reasonable conditions should Washington impose on its investment?

If Washington is going to give yet another loan-guarantee bailout to Detroit automakers, then the price should include requiring the car manufacturers to drop their four-year-long legal assault against global warming laws in California and three other states (Vermont, Rhode Island and New Mexico), as well as a requirement to develop and deliver hybrids, clean diesels and other highly fuel-efficient vehicles.

As an investor gambling with billions in increasingly scarce taxpayer dollars, Congress is well within its rights to insist that every penny of the $25 billion in new loan guarantees that Detroit is seeking be targeted to building the cars of tomorrow, not the gas-guzzling dinosaurs of yesterday.

And if taxpayers are going to be put at risk by guaranteeing new loans, then any such new help should be conditioned on the U.S. car companies ending their campaign to frustrate state-level efforts to clean up car and light-truck emissions that cause global warming.

Full story is here --->

Electric Cars to Propel the Next Economic Boom

SYNOPSIS: Economic booms are amplified by technology-shifts. The rise of the Internet revolutionized the world economy. Could electric cars do the same?

An economic boom requires an increase in demand, and the possibility to satisfy this increased demand with supply. A bit cynically, the ideal situation for high economic growth is a post-war environment. The starting level is low, people know what they demand and with their labour, raw materials, technology and knowledge, they also know how to satisfy this demand with supply. On the other hand, an economic boom is difficult to create in a country where people's demand has stagnated. Japan or Germany may be examples of countries where the wealth level is high, but therefore also the demand for further economic progress is weaker in relative terms. It is difficult to make profitable investments in these countries, as "everything" which is demanded is already available.

Read full story here --->

How to bring electric cars into the market - videos

It seems somehow fitting that the home of the fictional "never-say-die" boxer "Rocky Balboa" should also be the setting of a panel discussion on a similarly down-and-out-but-undaunted "hero", the electric car, which time and circumstances have again trust into the ring against the long-reigning champ: the internal combustion engine automobile.

On November 14, 2008 four experts gathered on the campus of the University of Pennsylvania in downtown Philadelphia and its famed Wharton School to discuss the issues confronting the mass market introduction of electric cars. The panel consisted of Vicki Northrup, the operations manager for Think North America; Charles Gassenheimer, the Chairman and CEO of Ener1; and Mike Granoff, the head of Oil Independence Policy for Better Place. Moderating the panel was J. William Moore, the publisher and editor in chief of EV World.

Read more and watch the video here --->

Electric cars: to be or not to be ?

Thinking about a new car? Visit us on a regular basis to stay updated.
Below is an excerpt from an article on one of the most important things of an electric car - batteries.
In case you’re thinking of getting an electric car, the first thing you need to do before getting one is to learn a few basic things about these vehicles — especially with regards to how they run and where they get their power. And like all things electric, an electric car relies on an independent power source — the battery.

Read the full article here --->

Chrysler joins the electric vehicle race

Unlike GM's Chevrolet Volt, Chrysler is working on range-extended electric vehicles based on current models - the four-door Jeep Wrangler and the Chrysler Town & Country minivan.

In addition, Chrysler is proposing an all-electric Dodge sports car based on the underpinnings of a Lotus that would run 150 to 200 miles on a fully charged battery.

Read the full story here --->
