If you're a fan of Tiga, you'll absolutely love these promo clips for his new album "Ciao".  If you have don't like Tiga or have no idea who the fuck he is, these clips will make you say "what a wanker"...

But the real question to me is - does this sorta promo video work make you wanna go out and buy the album?  Does it say, "wow that sounds amazing" or "who's this artist and why don't I know about him?"

For me no.  For others, well if you love these clips, you probably already own "Ciao" and Tiga's back catalogue...

However Tiga's acting skills are quite impressive though and I admire his penchant for taking risks.

I just love it - just last week I was in space on my way to the office happily singing this song on the Underground when I realised that an old lady was starring at me.  Oops.  Needless to say, I didn't say "fuck you very very much"...

Those sassy girls from Addictive are on the up-and-up getting ready to release their hot new single "Domino Effect" very soon.  Other than hearing their tracks on MySpace, I didn't know much about the chart-topping duo, so I asked them a few questions about their music and what we can expect from their live show...and this is what they had to say...

Hello girls - So I'm very excited about your upcoming tunes.  I especially like your tune "Domino Effect".  Tell me a little bit about that song...
Glad you like "Domino Effect" its our next single, as soon as we heard the beat for "Domino Effect" I knew we had to have it.  It is so sexy, but still has the dance electro beat to it -  I kinda fell in love with it straight away!  With the catchy hook sung over it, it was all over in the studio! [laughs]

I know I've seen you around the music scene a bit already - where have I seen you before?
We released a single called "Gonna Be Mine" last year which was produced by T2. Our video for it was number one on MTV for over a month, so you could probably say that's when we kinda arrived visually on the scene.  But we were releasing white labels underground and had tunes being played on specialist radio stations before that.

How would you describe your music in one sentence?
Sexy, charismatic, encouraging and inspirational.

Are you going more for an urban audience with your music or are you trying to reach out to the pop and electronica audiences as well?
Our music and album is pretty universal, I feel there is something for everyone and some tracks are very much pop/electronic influenced.  There is a fusion of sounds on our album, "Domino Effect" has an electro, dark sound, where our tune "Where I Wanna Be" has more of a R&B sound with inspirational lyrics - that's just an example that the album has enough diversity.

What can we expect from a live Addictive performance?  Are you looking to do some live dates soon?
We love the live shows!  You can expect real live vocals and a lot of dance and visuals, trust me you will definitely be entertained!  We have almost finished the album and "Domino Effect" has had a great response so the dates keep coming in...

It would seem that the German glam-pop stars Cinema Bizarre have gone in for some mild treatment for their music pains and got a healthy dose of electro-pop from the doctor that is Space Cowboy.

Space Cowboy announced today on Twitter his new collaboration with the fab five called "I Came To Party" that you can listen to on the Cherry Tree Records website right here, right now.  The song is a bit of a departure in the usual rock-infused sounds of Cinema Bizarre. 

The band have also recently announced a new album called "We Are All Toyz" (out in August) and in listening to a few of the new tracks on MySpace, I could very well start to become a bigger fan.  Their last album "Final Attraction" was kinda good in that Evavensence sort of way but it wasn't something that I would listen to every day.  However new songs like "Sad Day (For Happiness)" really have me intrigued.  I definitely would love to listen to the new record as it seems Cinema Bizarre are going from strength-to-strength, slowly branching out of the European market and bringing their unique style to the masses in the states. 

It's also a opportune time for hair band revivals it would seem.  I mean have you seen the billboards in London for Steel Panther yet?  If hair bands are coming back - I'd rather they sound like Cinema Bizarre...

Wowsa - Our boy Frankmusik suddenly has some competition in the way of tattoed and hairy-chested Ordinary Boy, Preston.

I have to say this is a brilliant solo effort.  Taking inspiration from the 80's cult classic vampire film "The Lost Boys", Preston aims to please our EQ ears.  And any electro-pop jamster who dares to give a nod to the Coreys that are Haim and Feldman, well they get my vote and my download allowance.

Preston recently commented on his new album that is in-the-works called "Whatever Forever" which is due later this year.
 
“I wanted to go into the studio like a mad professor, trying everything, always experimenting,” explains Preston. “I guess that could be seen as being really self-indulgent, but I'd never been able to do before because of the confines of being in a band. Sometimes the band were worried about doing something that would tread on the fans toes, but I think it's actually nice to tread on the fans toes now and again because it wakes them up. It gives them a reminder of what it they saw in you in the first place, why you are different to everything else that’s out there.”

Good on you Preston, dear boy.  We will await more tunage with anticipation and perked up ears.

It's LeToya's new single "She Ain't Got" from her forthcoming new album "Lady Love", available August 25 from Capitol Records - it's punchy and I like it!
