Save the Date card with Photo

2011-11-23T05:33:00.001-08:00

Original Photo used on their Save the Date card (after I did a little bit of color corrections such as contrast and brightness). The original photo was a bit stale of colors.

with a little bit more photo eddting done to this. I remove the leaves by their feet and tried to clean their area. The original photo looks a bit messy below. I used their color scheme of what they are wearing on the photo to create a damask background and a pastel green vertical banner, finishing it with a border of purple from her dress.

this layout is what they call in edtting world "LANDSCAPE." I was able to add the word on this card with their photo. The couple can decide to add more information on the back of this card.

Paisley Design Wedding Invitations

2011-09-01T16:09:00.001-07:00

I do like the summer and spring feel of this Paisley Wedding Invitation.

Rich in the hues of summer beach.

Can't go wrong with the elegant look of Black and White Wedding Invitations. This year Kim Kardashians and Kate Middleton dawn the exquisite look of Black and White Wedding Invitations and their Wedding Theme Colors.

The rich tone of gold and deep red Wedding Invitations reminds me of a Royal Wedding in India or Persia. Today is all about colors and culture.

Remake of Kim Kardashian Wedding Invitation

2011-08-29T19:49:00.000-07:00

This is my attempt to remake of Kim Kardashian famous Wedding Invitation.

"Kris and Bruce Jenner request the pleasure of your company at the marriage of their daughter Kimberly Kardashian to Kristopher Humphries," reads the story-book style invite made by Lehr & Black, emblazoned with a double-K insignia and housed in a gate-fold case inside a sturdy silver cardboard box.
The wedding invitation package came with three glossy white-and-black cards which included "Information and Details" (instructing guests on how to RSVP, where and when to arrive for the ceremony, a request to keep all information "confidential" and suggestions for local hotels), a parking pass and notice that a reception and dinner will follow the ceremony.

I am going to attempt to remake the most famous Wedding Invitation of the Year, Kim Kardashian's, without spending thousands of dollars. below is my remake. Below is my remake. Kim Kardashian's wedding invitation is plain black and white but very elegant. The invitation card centered is kept simple but elegant with a contemporary frame. I followed the same format as you can see below. There's no need to go too elaborate or too detailed for the main card because the banners on the left and the right, gives it that fantasy feel that every Princess is looking for.

the one to the left is Kim Kardashian's Wedding Invitation Banner

and the one on the right is my attempt or recreating it without fully copying the concept. I did left out the top and bottom initials and can be placed.

Let me know what you think ladies.

and I'm going to re-design it in a different color tomorrow and will post the new look, maybe pink and white or blue and white.
