I rather liked the texture of the furrows as the low sunlight cast shadows across the surface of the field.

I'm not sure where the pile of stones came from, whether someone is intending to build a wall, or someone just demolished one. In the foreground unfortunately are some empty tins of beer, a good sign I shouldn't hang around for long.

I was driving home from the shoot with Sarah yesterday when I saw those hay bales. I always wanted to take some pictures including those but you rarely see them where I live.
I stopped and took exactly three pictures (I forgot to take along my remote control, so I had to use self-timer) until a tractor came to collect them.
I guess people really do think I'm crazy when they see me taking pictures and walking away when they come.

A chance happening. We were dropping a friend off at the airport when we drove past a field full of sunflowers, rows upon endless rows. When we returned half an hour later, the sun was just setting, basking everything in a soft glow.
