Computer Basics Level I
Wednesday, February 8
10:30am – 11:30am
This class will introduce you to computer concepts and terminologies. You will become familiar with the computer desktop and gain hands-on experience with the mouse and keyboard.

Computer Basics Level II
Thursday, February 9
10:30am – 11:30am
Learn how to access, move, search for, and delete files and folders. Also learn how to create shortcuts on the desktop, empty and restore the recycle bin.
**Prerequisite: Computer Basics Level I class or basic mouse and keyboard skills

Internet Level I
Wednesday, February 15
10:30am – 12:00pm
Learn how to access and navigate a web site, as well as conduct a simple internet search using Google.
**Prerequisite: Computer Basics Level I or basic mouse and keyboard skills.

Space is limited to six participants per class. Please stop by the eLibrary to register for a class. There is a $5.00 non-refundable fee per class.

Microsoft Word Level I
Wednesday, November 2
10:30am – 12:00pm
Learn how to create, save and format a document.
**Prerequisite: Computer Basics Level I or basic mouse/keyboard skills.

Computer Basics Level I
Thursday, November 3
10:30am – 12:00pm
This class will introduce you to computer concepts and terminologies. You will become familiar with the computer desktop and gain hands-on experience with the mouse and keyboard.

Computer Basics Level II
Thursday, November 10
10:30am – 12:00pm
Learn how to create, access, move, search for and delete files/folders. Also learn how to create shortcuts on the desktop, and empty/restore the recycle bin.
**Prerequisite: Computer Basics Level I or basic mouse/keyboard skills.

Internet Level I
Wednesday, November 16
10:30am – 12:00pm
Learn how to access and navigate a web site, as well as conduct a simple internet search using Google.
**Prerequisite: Computer Basics Level I or basic mouse/keyboard skills.

Space is limited to six participants per class. Please stop by the eLibrary to register for a class. There is a $5.00 non-refundable fee per class.

Celebrate Your FReadom to Read!

Each year during the last week of September, we celebrate the freedom to read and the importance of our First Amendment rights during Banned Books Week (BBW). This annual event highlights intellectual freedom, freedom of expression, and the right to access the ever-increasing volume of information available by drawing attention to books and reading materials that have been challenged, restricted, and, in some cases, banned from libraries. To learn more about Banned Books Week and how to participate virtually via The Virtual Read-Out, click here.

The American Library Association (ALA) also provides lists of frequently challenged and banned books, many of which are available for checkout here at the eLibrary as well as all of the libraries throughout Polk County. Stop by and check some out and celebrate your freadom to read!
