I am proud to say after traveling the country quite a bit, I decided to make Spotsylvania my permanent home and raise my 3 children here in 2008. Prior to becoming a real estate agent, I worked in corporate sales for 12 years and for the past 4 years my husband and I have been operating our own small business, which I think is the best of both worlds. I am very excited to have the opportunity to work with individuals and families to find a home that is the right fit for you and/or to help you sell your home to the right buyer at the right price. Born and raised in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia, Crystal moved to northern Virginia in 1993 and relocated to Spotsylvania County in 2008. She absolutely fell in love with the area and would do “drive-by house shopping” in the surrounding and upcoming neighborhoods. ABOUT BRIAN

Hailing from Iowa, Brian McCollough grew up on a family farm, raising and marketing livestock and field crops. From a small community high school, he began his adventure with education at the United States Air Force Academy. After marriage, Brian went on to pilot training in Lubbock, Texas, and a tour there as an instructor pilot; a tour and start of a family in the Philippines; then time in Ohio and California as a facilities civil engineering officer.

After service, Brian’s career followed a path as a technical support player for Federal contractors, later spending more than 15 years in business and proposal development, focusing on marketing of service support to government agencies.

Brian’s pride is great in his family. His wife, Nancy, of over 45 years and their 3 children all strive beyond their significant work and bring service to others. This service bestows support across a vast spectrum of recipients, ranging from middle and high school students to college and university students and faculty, to those with disabilities and community service agencies and non-profit organization.

Together with his wife, he enjoys traveling to places, new and old, and weekly plugging a place into the navigation system and enjoying the beauty and diversity of Virginia, after residing here for more than 30 years.

Joye Marsh Administrative Professional of the Year

Each year the Fredericksburg Chamber of Commerce chooses an honoree to be recognized as the Administrative Professional of the Year.  This year Joye Marsh from the Commercial division was recognized by the Chamber for this award.

Joye has gone above and beyond to ensure the success of her company over the past several years.  She comes in early and stays late beyond what is typical to assist when needed.  The few times she has called in sick or whenever she is on vacation she always responds to emails so that no one is slowed by her absence.

As the self-proclaimed “Office Mom” Joye is always planning a birthday celebration, baby shower, wedding shower, sending flowers when someone has lost a loved one, or to celebrate a victory or milestone.  Her contributions help maintain the cohesiveness of her office.

Joye is the philanthropic coordinator for her company.  She is always organizing an event or donations to help her company give back to the community.  She was instrumental in their efforts to help with Habitat for Humanity’s “Women Build” Project by raising money, coordinating events, and even swinging a hammer during the construction phase of the project.  She truly loves to help and never does so for recognition or reward.

Over the last 3 years Joye has remained a student through continuous and frequent training sessions.  She assists with the training sessions and continuing education efforts the company offers to the Sales Agents to keep their skills sharp. She has even begun the process of obtaining her salesperson’s license from the Virginia Real Estate Board, not so that she can begin to sell, but so that she can better serve the agents that she supports.

In 2013 during the merger of Coldwell Banker Commercial Elite and Silver Commercial Brokerage, Joye was there to help oversee integration of existing systems and processes of the two companies to make the overall operation more efficient.  This included getting over a dozen experienced sales agents acclimated with the process, all the while converting approximately 100 property listings into the new Coldwell Banker Commercial marketing & accounting systems.  Thanks to Joye’s experience, work ethic, perseverance, and can-do attitude the transition was smooth and successful.

As a resident of King George, I have raised funds for local animal shelters and involved with a local church, King George Church Of God. I spent eight years volunteering with Hope House, a shelter for homeless woman and their children in Fredericksburg ministering/encouraging the residence’s of Hope House and served on their Board of Directors.
