Tiaras, princess wands, lollipops, triangles, glitter - Last friday was my glitter/hipster themed 19th birthday, celebrated with some close uni friends. I'm turning 19 in a couple of hours! Took these in town today during a short shopping trip. I got some cute things from Topshop and received an amaaazing package that I'll show you this weekend. Cheese.

I guess it's an 'oh-golly!' taboo that I'm posting a down jacket on a (generally) fashion blog, but this is the kind of clothing that keeps me warm in the winter, so I shall remain faithful to it. It deserves some credit! These were taken during a pitstop on our way to skiing during the winter break.

Vienna caught on film

I prefer shooting film so much more than digital. Not because the photos look any better (mine are so horrifically dark and blurry), but because you get to enjoy the moment more by just taking a snap and then forgetting about it, rather than checking the photo and -oh no god forbid your eyes were closed in that one- taking twenty more.

I'm back on campus now, preparing for my lectures tomorrow, which I'm really excited about. Plus tons of errands to run in town, as well as signing up for some more classes and organising trips to London and Edinburgh. And my birthday is on friday! What did you do for your last birthday? I might knick some ideas; my brain is too fried from all the extra paninis I ate on the plane.

And thank you all again for your constant comments. I wish I could browse through your blogs and comment back as I used to, but these days I barely have time to even blog. I do read every single comment, and it means so much to me you're following, reading and leaving genuine ideas and thoughts! I really have such quirkily fun readers. Love to you all!

Today marks the start of something new, something I've been working on nonstop since September. It's not a project, more like an ambition. But I will tell you more when I hear news. Until then, I have to try to pack in all the six pairs of shoes and X-number of faux fur coats I bought this vacation (don't you love the sales). Obviously, I felt like dressing like a coffee bean today. The necklace was a gift from my aunt, who got it at a temple in Tibet. It's a little drum with a bead at the end, and you're meant to turn it to the right for good luck.

A collared shirt under a sweater is pretty much my generic uniform during winter. For variation, I like to play around with accessories and color combinations, like this rather clashy one with my favorite clutch and this new sweater (only 10 euros!)

You can't see in the pictures, but the bag's zip is actually at the bottom of the bag. I mean, it could be awkward if you forget to zip it, starting toting it around, only to realize later that your whole life has dropped away. But at least it looks cute like a dumpling. And you probably all remember these notorious Zara heels from last year. I never got into the Jeffrey Campbell Litas phase so this was actually my most recent Blogosphere-induced purchase, although my Blogosphere-induced wishlist is another thing completely...

2011, what a year. Graduating from the school I attended for over fourteen years was hard, especially leaving my family, best friends and people who I had grown up with. But I think it was good to have broken out of that bubble. Now I am even more motivated for life, to develop myself, develop KNEON magazine and this blog, and keep up my History of Art studies, especially since I know exactly what career I wish to pursue.

I was interviewed for Radio FM4, Flair Magazine and Frock&Roll Magazine, and included in the Nectar & Pulse Vienna travel guide. Recently I was also chosen as one of the exclusive media partners of the TEDxVienna (more information soon, I promise). I brought out the third issue of KNEON Magazine, and reached over 1,300 followers on Blogger. I met many inspiring people through this blog, some of who have become good friends. Next uni term, I’m planning on travelling to London more to collaborate with photographers for some KNEON shoots, attending London Fashion Week, downloading some trashy Adele remixes (thanks Javi) and so much more.

Hope everyone had a great Christmas or any festivities you celebrate! I spent the last four days skiing on the slopes of Nassfeld, and it was wonderful. The weather was beyond amazing, I ate too much fatty food (please marry my stomach, Berner Wurstel and fries), and the slopes were just wow. More photos from my trip coming soon, as well as a peak at what I got for Christmas.

I'm back in Vienna, and boy does it feel good! I got back late last night, and today was one of the most relaxing days in a while. I also came home to find this beautiful backpack waiting from me, sent by Fabric & Handle (thank you Salinya!) that I immediately took out for a spin when I went out this afternoon. I've been looking for a casual backpack for ages, and this one is just perfect.

KNEON Magazine #3 finally out!

I am very excited and proud to present you the latest issue of my magazine KNEON. The theme is 'Playtime' and a lot of the interview questions, articles and visuals all surround this idea of energy, youth and playfulness. This one was supposed to come out in August, but because of moving to England and starting university, I didn't have any time to work on it.

I must say that this is the issue that I'm the happiest with so far. It was a year since I put out the last issue, so my graphic skills were a little unoiled. But I'm happy with the results. Tell me what you think. I'll be listening as always, lovelies.

I haven't had much time to update lately - I'm putting most of my time into my essays, the next issue of my magazine, KNEON (which will be out shortly!), and spending the last days before term ends with friends who are leaving back to the States, since they're here as transfers. And I'm moving room as well, so a lot of busybee-ness.

These were taken while strolling down Portobello Market on a hectic saturday, spending a great deal of time in the Kurt Geiger store (major drool) and the antique art markets.

I just realized how odd the combination of half-pants with a fur vest is, but that's really just how confused i am about how to dress weather-accordingly. It's like spring again! Last night we went into town and had the best time just dancing. I blatantly stared at some british girls who were wearing just a tube dress with no tights or jackets. I was wearing my winter down jacket. They have quite a metabolism, that's for sure.
