I went to get my hair cut today and it's weird to think I ever had (nearly) long hair. I love the concept of it. I love it on other girls. It looks cute and feminine and sexy and, well, I just was stressed out of my mind trying to dry it all the time. Also, whenever I put it into a ponytail, the weight of it all would give a migraine. Maybe I'm just missing some kind of girl gene, the kind that gives you an Extra Portion patience with the dryer, or a sturdier head? I really should get a refund.

In other super exciting news, I'm in Vienna now on my mini Easter break (1.5 weeks is hardly enough time to unwrap a super large chocolate bunny, purlease) basking in some rare sunshine and bullying my sister at home. Life is predictable right now and I love it!! (Although, if unpredictable will get me to Coachella, then I will love that a tad more).

New Candy

BIG. SIGH. OF. RELIEF. Essays all handed in, work load coming to a normal level again. Also, some pretty ear candy from Urbanears came in the post last week. The Zalando UK team were sweethearts and let me to pick out something to send over. I was tempted to get accessories (i.e. a really overpriced Moschino bracelet) but then I chose something a little more practical.

My friend showed me these tops/sweaters from SMOOOOTH yesterday and I nearly died. PRINTZ PRINTZ PRINTZ! I can see myself getting the bunny one and evolving immediately into a Kawaii Queen. Maybe the team would like to supply me with endless amounts of arguably-hipster-but-undeniably-cool printed jumpers until 2XXX? All in the name of a good reign.

Hamsterdam pt. 1

Part 1 of the touristy batch of photos from Amsterdam. I'd give anything to be wandering around a city, riding bikes in parks, having picnics with weird birds, and stopping for coffee and Belgian waffles every two steps right now this minute. But stuff (i.e. essays) aren't gonna really write themselves, so I'm forced to study-spot hop until then. Some exciting things are happening in the void though: I have my apartment for next year settled, I have Easterbreak to look forwards too (some friends from Edinburgh are going to visit Vienna!) and the Edinburgh Charity Fashion Show is next saturday! The latest issue of my baby is out today! This sixth issue is themed 'Dreamer', and is the most content KNEON has ever had. It was supposed to be out this monday, but I panicked and my internet was calming down instead of myself, so yeah. One and one makin' nothing.

Saturday Feb 2nd | Pinny toom me to Browns on George Street for some afternoon tea + champagne, and seriously the place was beyond gorgeous. Granted, average-room-age lowered substantially when we entered, but it's super chilled, with great lighting (weird pro-factor, I know, but us camwhores think in different ways I guess) and amazeball scones. I'm just chilling tonight, probably heading to a pub and watching the Superbowl. Hope you all had a good weekend! x

The other day on a mask-buying excursion, I brought my camera along and decided to take some shots around Grassmarket in Edinburgh for you guys to get a feel of the city. It's full of unexpected little cafes and cute stores. Also some cool magazine-specialized shops (you know my excitement!) and vintage places.

Hey guys! So it's been freezing here lately, which for the most part is painful, but snow is obviously working well for Edinburgh ,since the snowy peaks of Arthur's seat make me feel like I live in a ski resort every time I walk back to halls. I wore this to class today, really nothing special, just comfy shoes (I know I sound like a granny!) and a larger necklace.

P.s. I turned 20 this weekend! Feel very adult now. Kind of.

Reading book after romance book, watching episode after episode of Gilmore Girls. I'm currently down with a massive case of hamster cheeks (i.e. the last two of my wisdom teeth bite the dust. painfully), and desperately need more ideas to prevent myself from becoming a vegetable in my bed. So send them my way!! Me begs of you! In other news, I'm living off milkshakes provided by my sister, since solid foods are just a fantasy at this point. Detox it is.

Merry Christmas everyone! I finally finished my exams and flew home to vienna this weekend, and it's been lazy-heaven ever since. I don't plan to do much this break, just chilling, and eating, and sleeping. But there's one thing I want to get up and running with: this blog. It's fallen into a major state of disarray and I really want to revamp it and actually post more often, like in the good old days. So bare with me this week while I tweak the layout!
