Closing my website

Hi everyone: After much contemplation and with a heavy heart, I've decided I'm going to close my site. This blog will remain open and anything new I make will be posted here.
Between my lack of creative spark and lack of interest in it, and then getting my hosting costs doubled last renewal period without notice, I've just decided to not continue. I do tend to go in streaks so I'll leave my options open about using my blog and free sites to continue some parts of my site.
For the moment the site will remain up but not updated.
I am paid up with hosting till June 2014 and with my domain name till Oct 2013. I am going to see if I can get a partial refund on my hosting and if I can, it will close down shortly, otherwise it should remain up till at least next October.
I am keeping my blog and if I decide to continue on with tags, tutorials and desktop calendars, I'll update you on that on my blog and the update group.

Most of the tuts are available in downloadable formats. Grab the wallpaper, fonts, stationery, etc
If I decide to go ahead with writing tutorials at another time, I will either put them on this blog, open a new blog for them or find a free site to upload them to.
In summary, after taking a break for as long as needed, I may continue on with tutorials, tags and monthly desktop calendars. I will not continue with the wallpaper, stationery and fonts. Stay tuned for updates.

October Calendars up, Thanksgiving Wallpaper more sizes and png format

Happy Sunday everyone.
I have just uploaded to my site 12 October Desktop Calendars, some Autumn, some Thanksgiving for my fellow Canadians, and some Halloween. I hope you find one or more you like!
I also just added the png format and the netbook-tablet size to my Thanksgiving Wallpaper page.
I found the link to my New Stationery on my Stationery Index page was incorrect after my editing earlier last week so I fixed that as well.

Stationery section problem resolved

I was just notified by a site visitor that my entire stationery section is "not found". For some reason, even thought it was there and uploaded correctly and nothing had changed, it was not showing. I just changed the file name of the section from 'stats' to 'stationery' and re-uploaded all of the pages and fixed all of the links pointing to it. What a job!! You may need to refresh the page that has the link to it for the link to change properly. If you have any further problems with it, please let me know. The link to the main index should now read
http://www.ellies-treasures.com/stationery/stationery.html and not
http://www.ellies-treasures.com/stats/stats.html
and all of the pages in it should have 'stationery' as the folder and not 'stats'.
For example http://www.ellies-treasures.com/stationery/christmas/christmas.html

On another note, I'm off camping in the morning and packing today, so I'll start on October's Calendars when I return on Saturday. I'll let you know when they're up. Last camping trip of the season and hopefully I'll have some spark to make some new stuff for all of you.

Sorry I haven't had more for you lately, camping most of the summer and frankly, just burned out my creative spark at the moment. It'll return, it always does. Probably just in time to entertain me for the long cold winter!
I always have the best intentions but at the moment, that's all I have!
You'll hear more from me soon, I promise. Like I said, probably in the fall when my camping is all done for the summer.

July Calendars are up, Summer wallpaper now in all formats and sizes

Hi everyone. Happy 4th of July!
I've just uploaded the July calendars. 4 Summer ones, 3 July 4th ones and a Canada Day one.
Desktop Calendars
I've also added new sizes and formats to the July 4th and Canada Day wallpaper pages, adding the png format and the netbook-tablet size.
I just finished editing all of the Summer wallpaper and they are all now available in both formats (jpg and png) and all 5 sizes from Netbook (1024X600) to Extra Large Wide-Screen (1920X1080).
Sorry you haven't seen much of me lately. I get burned out sometimes and just do other things besides graphics. The last few weeks I've been doing some research on improving my poor health (IBS, Fibromyalgia, Arthritis, ADHD) with diet and I may have a handle on it now. I've got my fingers crossed that I'll start feeling better and more energetic soon!

May Desktop calendars up, new Spring stationery, wallpaper

Hi everyone. I have the first 3 desktop calendars up for May. I also loved the Easter tag called Easter Love Bunnies so much that I made it into a Spring tag and I have the stationery, wallpaper and desktop calendar to match. I'll put the extras in the tag section soon, either later today or tomorrow. I'll post again when I do.
I will also be adding a few more calendars. I didn't think I'd get them done this month, my computer went on the blitz and thank goodness I had an image of my C drive made last December so I could put that back on. I lost a few programs but I'll just reinstall. Better than having to start from scratch and I didn't lose any data as I keep all of that on other drives.

I've just added 2 more Easter Wallpaper and Easter Stationery.
I'm just re-activated my tag pages and I have 2 Easter tags extras done and uploaded, in 3 sizes, all png format as it has better quality and has a transparent background. I may get some more uploaded tomorrow morning, not sure if I can, as I have company coming for Easter Dinner tomorrow. I'll post again when I get it done.
Maybe Saturday morning if I run out of time tomorrow. I always get these brilliant ideas when I run out of time before a holiday. I must like working under pressure! LOL

Hi everyone. I haven't forgotten about you or abandoned my website! I didn't realize I hadn't posted last month about the new January calendars being up! And now the January and February calendars are up. I have lots of them for you.
I also finally made a new tag, the first one since getting on my new computer. To my dismay, Filters Unlimited is not showing up in my PhotoImpact where I make all my web stuff and wallpaper, but it is showing up in PSP, so I'm switching back and forth between the programs. What a pain in the you-know-what! I was sure that I had tested it right after getting on the new computer and it was there, but now it's not. I'll have to play with it to see if I can get it going, or else I'll have to switch to a newer version of PI (I prefer the older XL version).
So, as I was saying, I have a new tag called Winter Fun, one is a winter version and the other is a Christmas version, and I have made wallpaper, stationery and a desktop calendar with it. Go check it out, it's just adorable! I just love Lia's tubes, and she's FTU as well!

I also have been busy converting some of the wallpaper pages and adding the netbook-tablet size of wallpaper to many of them. I'll keep plugging away on that until all of the pages are not only up (they aren't all up yet), but also have the png format and all of the sizes. Big job!
I also wanted to remind you that I'm limiting my new stationery to imf format for Incredimail and zip format for all of the others it will work for.
I'm also getting ready to edit and re-add the last of the old tutorials, the stationery ones. They are the only ones that are left to edit and add.

Updates-Desktop Calendars, stationery-new formats, wallpaper-new size

Hi everyone. I know I haven't posted for awhile but I've been busy! I got onto my new Win7 computer a couple of weeks ago and getting used to it, getting programs working, etc. I have a lot of December desktop calendars for you and some January ones already as well. Desktop Calendars
I rewrote my Stationery Usage tutorial as I found some differences in Win 7, mainly because there's no Outlook Express. Windows Live Mail in Windows 7 can not use stationery. I am now offering my stationery in a zip file for Outlook and Thunderbird and any other program that uses stationery. You simply unzip it to the correct folder (as outlined in my tutorial). I may not offer my new and edited stationery in eml format any more as I have no way of making it without Outlook Express. But I am trying out a new free program called Mokum Mail Lite that can use Incredimail stationery and may allow me to make eml format, I have to figure out how to use it when I get a few minutes. For these reasons, at the moment, my newest stationery and ones I edit that have to be redone for copyright, etc, will be offered in Incredimail (imf), Outlook Express (self-extracting exe or zip format), Outlook and Thunderbird (zip format) and possibly eml format for Windows Vista Mail.
I have also added the netbook/tablet size wallpaper to the Christmas Wallpaper and Winter Wallpaper pages.

Halloween stationery and wallpaper back online, many new ones

Hi everyone. I've been working very hard the last few days and have my Halloween Wallpaper and Halloween Stationery pages back online. I didn't want to go another year without them being back for you. This means that all of my holiday and all of my seasonal pages are back online. Some of the Halloween items are also new so you'll find some of them on the New Stationery and New Wallpaper pages as well. Even those that aren't new are completely redone and fixed up to my more experienced standards than when I first made them. I also have a new October Desktop Calendar with a Halloween theme uploaded.

I have my new computer but have put off getting my things on it and using it till these pages were done. And - OK - for some reason I'm finding Windows 7 intimidating even thought I haven't tried it yet. Getting old I guess, hubby pointed out that I used to love trying new stuff, now I find myself resistant.

Hi everyone. I've just finished and uploaded my re-edited Autumn Wallpaper and Autumn Stationery pages. Everything on the pages is either new or completely redone, and up to copyright compliant standards. I've also made and uploaded a new stationery, wallpaper, and November desktop calendar called "I Love Fall" using art ©Rachael Tallamy. I hope you like all of the new stuff!

I want to get to work on the Halloween pages and get them back online but my new computer may come today and I have to clean out my email program, I have thousands of emails with attachments that I have to snag and delete the emails, so I probably should get to work on that. I love getting a new computer but don't quite love as much all of the backing up of program data, then reinstalling, getting it all back up and running to my specific needs, etc. Lots of work! And I always end up forgetting to install something until I need it then cursing and moaning as now I have to go and install something before I can continue. The end result will be worth it though, I'm getting a great new computer. But that's what I said about the last one till I found out it wasn't quite as great as I needed! Let's hope this one lives up to my expectations.

This was a tutorial I wrote while camping (no internet), only to find once I got home that neither the kit or the word art was available any longer, so no tut for this one. Some of the kit elements were pretty unique so I couldn't find another one that would suit the tut.
Now off to see whatever site chores need to be done. I've got a few more tuts to assemble and put online but maybe I'll get my Autumn and Halloween pages back online first. See what mood hits me.

Hi everyone. I finally got that tutorial online, Goodbye Summer. Went camping this past week and wrote another 3 but may not be able to use one as the kit is gone online. That's the problem in working blind, with no internet connection to make sure things are still available.

Well, I went camping again! John got sick the last day there and it was a tricky ride home. LOL Wrote 2 tutorials. This is the first one. It's called Tropical Treat and it's for PSP. Click on the link or the image to get to it.
