I was lucky enough to get this model early to paint up for Maxmini.eu. I really like the kit and its a pleasure to paint. Its still early but you can see how its coming along.

Dust tactics - a Commission Job

Another commission job I took was a set of dust tactic guys. These were for a very quick and simple paint job. Essentially the lowest standard we do.

There were a lot more of thse guys but they all look essentially the same. These are still PIP. I forgot to get pics of the finish models.

Dreadfleet - a commission job

A couple of friends and I took a commission to paint 5 dreadfleet sets. A big task but we completed it pretty quickly. We did some prep work before hand and then spent a full weekend working on it, Sat and Sun. Then it took each of us a few more days to finish it up. All in all I guesstimate at about 40 hours of painting each for all 5 sets. We are going to do another set very soon. So far we have 4 and are trying to find one more to make it five. The price is $300. If anyone is interested you can shoot me a message.

I've been away from the hobby lately with lots of family things going on so I have not had a lot of time to do much. I am slowly working on some nurgle items though and have the base colors completed and need to start on the details.

Nurgle sorcerer with palenquin

I like the idea of a nurgle sorcerer riding around on a palenquin. I wanted him to be carried by plague zombies though. So I used the WFB plague cart as a base.

Renegade AA gun

This a kit from maxmini. I really like it. Its a bit cheaper than teh FW kit and looks just as good IMO. It was a breeze to assmble and fun to paint.

Here is the chimera chassis I modified for it. Yes I know the smoke launchers look terrible, they have been removed. :)

Warhound is almost done!

I've got the warhound assembled and ready to stomp about. I still need to do the base and add a few hoses but its pretty close now! This was by far the largest model I have painted and it was quite an challenge. I enjoyed it but I was sure happy to be done with it at the same time.

Continuing to plug away at the Warhound. I'm getting close. Here's where I'm at so far. I've actually started on the legs now and the interior is done minus the tenticles.

I finally buckled down and started back on the warhound titan. I have vowed to not paint anything else until this beast is 100% done.

Cockpit is 95% done.

Vulcan Mega Bolter is 90% done.

Plasma Cannon is 75% done. Coils mostly need highlighting.

palanquin for Acursius Pox

I like using the palanquin upgrade for my nurgle sorcerer but couldn't find any nurgling palanquin holders for a reasonable price. I had bits for a plague cart that I decided to convert into one.

I need to go back and add some 40k bits but in general I like the way it turned out.

Maxmini siege gun Medusa complete

I got this kit finished up finally. Had lots going on lately so I haven't had much time to play. :)

Maxmini Siege Gun - Medusa

I was lucky enough to get one of these bad boys prior to release. This is an amazingly nice kit. Everything fits together very nicely, clean mold lines and it slides right into a chimera chassis to make a IG Medusa.

It will also work as a stationary siege gun and comes with a set of sand bags for this exact purpose.

Here are the kits contents:

This is a mock up of the kick in a chimera chassis. Slides in just like the Basilisk.

This kit should be for sale in early Dec so keep your eyes open for it.
