The previous version which is elink computer master level 1 (DAAB), comprises of four computer applications’ tutor such as computer appreciation, Microsoft windows(O/S), Microsoft disk operating system(O/S) and Microsoft word(word processing program), are all respectively arranged from chapter 1 to 4 and before you continue in this version, (elink computer master level 2 (DAABV1.1)) which also comprises of four computer applications’ tutor such as introduction to internet of everything, Microsoft excel(spreadsheet program), Microsoft power point(presentation program) and Microsoft access (data base management program); it is recommended that you first download and study the first version; unless, if you’ve already been through with it. It is a continuation of the previous app chapter, hence starts from chapter 5 to 8.

Download will start immediately, after downloading locate your phone download folder if you're using phone to download, click on the file(DAAB) and install the app in your phone afterwhich you can run it and study the content with your computer system (is recommended that you use your computer for practical purpose. scientist has done a good work in bringing these 'digita monster' or rather the latest technology of our time called computer. More to their elbow. Having been working through my computer as an engineer i find it dificult using the keys in the night; unless you have to put on the ligth and/ or rather focus it on the keyboard. Even if you are like the populer mavis beacon who might type with eye close, there must still be need to open the dam eye and peep. Having gone through all these coupled with my research on the on the dificulties faced by the user and the posibility of it, i now, putting it as a suggesion that computer keyboard should be builded with diods light especialy portable ones like laptop, notebook, palmtop, among others. If am oportune, i have a lot to contribute as i have always wanted to be a scientist.

What a Computer Scientist Does
The term computer scientist
applies to a person who can
perform a wide range of jobs in
information technology and
related fields. A computer
scientist often uses current forms
of technology, or creates new
ones, in order to solve complex
problems, thus applying
information technology principles
to real-world situations.
Computer scientists work as
robotics researchers, hardware
designers, software engineers,
technology consultants, and
systems analysts for universities,
government organizations, and
private corporations. The results
of their work support our
intricate and highly-computerized

air traffic flow in the skies above

improving our medical
technology. The opportunities for
someone interested in becoming
a computer scientist are basically

How to Become a Computer
Scientist
To work as a computer scientist,
you most likely will need to earn
a PhD in computer science,
information technology, or a
related subject area. Although
this requirement applies to a
majority of jobs out there, you
might be able to find a job in the
Federal government with only a
bachelor's degree; however, you
will need to pursue further
education if you want to keep up
with developments in the field.
Generally, a PhD in computer
science takes about five years to
complete on top of the standard
length of time required for a
bachelor's degree. PhD programs
will familiarize you with
foundational concepts of
computer science before allowing
you to specialize in an area of
concentration, such as robotics or
software development. In
addition to this extensive
academic background, computer
scientists have a strong sense for
mathematics and other technical
concerns. A computer engineer
must be able to concentrate on
the details, while keeping in
mind the overall goals of each
project. Strong communication
skills allow a computer scientist
to work with other employees
and build projects to their needs,
even if they aren't familiar with
computer technology.
Career Outlook for Computer
Scientists
Computer Scientists will have
excellent job opportunities in the
next eight years, according to the
U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics
(BLS). The market for computer
scientists will grow faster than
usual for other jobs, most likely
due to the constant demand for
the development of bigger and
better technological solutions in
all sectors. Furthermore, as the
technology improves, more
computer scientists will be
needed to manage and apply it.
From 2008 to 2018, jobs for
computer scientists are projected
to grow nearly 24 percent,
making this occupation one of
the fastest growing occupations in
the nation. In fact, BLS has found
that many companies often say
that they cannot find enough
employees to fill computer-
related positions. Once hired,
computer scientists tend to work
for very good money. In May of
2008, the median annual salary
of computer scientists was
$97,970, and the top ten percent
of computer scientists earned
$151,250. Although only a few
earned this much, it speaks to
the great earning potential for
someone interested in becoming

I know that most of us are using our phones or ipad to read bible in d church judging from d bible software installed in it. am also aware of the new samsung electronic device that serves as electronic books where e-books like bible, testbooks,handout, magazins, etc are stored. thats an improvement in tecnology and world soon be at its MERCY. With respect to this advances in tech. i sugest an a device i called 'AUTO-VOICE RESPOND ELECTRONIC BIBLE' (AVREB) which will not only store bible software or like but will read it out on its own with respect to the voice of the ower who called out the chapter verses of the bible...is possible but i lack d reourses to do so; unles otherwise is already in the market and i havent seen it or have you?.... what do you think of that?

Computer Village Revenue In Nigeria

Computer Village generates $2bn
annually to economy – minister
Lagos- The Computer Village in
Ikeja, Lagos, generates about two
billion dollars (N300 billion) to
the economy annually, Mrs
Omobola Johnson, Minister of
Information and Communications
Technology, has said.
Johnson disclosed this at the
Monthly Breakfast Meeting of the
Nigerian-South Africa Chamber of
Commerce on Thursday in Lagos.
According to the minister, the
revenues come mostly from the
cloning of phones and the
exploration all sorts of software
applications.
“I think I am the first ICT
minister that has taken time to
visit the place and we have seen
that the operators have great
skills.
“The place consists of wonderful
sets of youths who are generating
employment for themselves,
while inventing new ICT skills.
“We have encouraged the
operators to come out with local
brands to support the growth of
the economy,” the minister said.
Johnson said that the ministry
was working closely with the
executives of the market
association to ensure that the
operators’ skills were harnessed to
generate more revenues.
She said that the ministry had
plans to ensure that 60 per cent
of rural dwellers had access to
personal computers and the
Internet by 2015.
“We plan to empower the youths
at the Computer Village to fulfill
these targets and to create more

and i believe it will do same to you.
if your man is withdrawing and
the affection and attention you used to get from
him is gone, I know how desperate and frightening
that can feel.And it doesn't have to be that way. I saved my
own marriage from what felt to me like the "end,"
and it happened so fast I was shocked - you can
quickly learn how to save your own relationship

   If you're experiencing that awful, stomach
churning feeling of dread from the moment you

   I thought my marriage was "done for" - there
was no sex, no affection, only anxiety and fear
and anger and sleepless nights, and not one thing
I'd done, not one friend or therapist had helped
me.
   When I figured out how to turn it around, I
was so amazed, I almost didn't know how to react.
   Things had been so bad for so long I felt
hopeless, and here my husband was, laughing,
kissing me - as though nothing had ever been a
problem!
   The trial-and-error I worked through to bring
my relationship back from the dead was all about
ME.
   I'd been thinking everything was all HIS fault,
and I just didn't know how to communicate to him
so that he'd change - BUT THAT WASN'T IT AT ALL.
   And then, once I realized how much I'd
contributed to the mess our marriage was in, I
beat myself up and made things even worse.
   Here's a letter from Miranda, whose marriage
has gotten so bad, she doesn't know where to turn.
Let's put together a plan for her, and use that
plan to help you, too, in almost any relationship
situation you're in right now - married or just
at the beginning and "hoping" for commitment:
"Dear Rori,
My relationship is in trouble. My husband says
I've "neglected his sexual needs," and focused on
the wrong things he was doing, and now he has
totally withdrawn from me. He doesn't even want
to be around me. He has even started talking
about divorce. What do I do to win him back? We
sleep in separate bedrooms but I still love him.
Help please, Miranda"
***I'll write this answer straight to Miranda,
and then we'll work though the Tools in this 4
Step plan:
   Dear Miranda, If you want to, you can save
this.
   And after we make the changes that will bring
him closer to you...YOU'LL be the one who has the
OPTION to "save" this and keep your man...or not!
   From your letter, I hear that you've realized
what work you need to do to turn this around, and
all you need is a place to start.
   It would be really, really easy for me or any
relationship "expert" out there to just say - Oh,
well - instead of neglecting his sexual needs, be
available to him sexually, and instead of making
him wrong, appreciate him.
   But I know what a huge, major, seemingly
impossible leap that is.
   And maybe YOU have reasons -- good reasons --
for not wanting to be that close to him.
   Perhaps he's not been good to you, perhaps
he's "Toxic" -- so let's explore all of this.
   To start, Miranda, instead of just looking at
what you feel you did "wrong" - let's try and
figure out some of the why and how it happened
like that for you.
   The first thing I'm going to ask you to do is
STOP BEATING YOURSELF UP.
   Just plain, flat-out, REFUSE to let that Nasty
Voice in your head turn YOU against YOURSELF!
   Don't let it make you FEEL BAD about yourself.
   Let the Nasty Voice scream - let it yell at
you, let it stomp its feet like a little kid, let
it make you laugh, let it make you want to
EMBRACE it and LOVE that voice, no matter how
nasty it sounds, as though it were a tiny child.
Just simply - to state this crucial thing again -
do NOT let it make you FEEL BAD. Do not let it
turn YOU against YOURSELF.
   You're going to need every bit of faith in
yourself and belief in yourself and GOOD feelings
you can feel to turn this around - and I KNOW you
can do it.
   WE DON'T JUST "TURN OFF" OF A MAN.
   We don't just start "neglecting" him on a whim.
   My guess is that you were (and still ARE)
feeling angry.
   We stop having sex with a man when we start
feeling UNSAFE.
   We stop having sex with a man (or at least
WANTING to have sex with a man - most of us
continue to go through the motions no matter what)
when WE feel UNLOVED in some way.
   When resentments build up, EVERYONE starts
acting weird.
   Hidden anger comes out in all sorts of awful
ways.
   For men, anger often shows up as criticism and
withdrawal.
   He gets mean, but makes what he says seem
reasonable (I mean EVERY complaint has a small
bit of truth to it, or we wouldn't feel so bad
when we hear it).
   If our man said to us that we FLY in an awkward
way - we wouldn't be offended, we'd just look at
him like he was crazy.
   But if he says we "don't do that right", we
add our own feelings of insecurity to what he
says and instantly feel terrible and - ANGRY.
   There is no way when someone puts you down -
especially when they do it in a subtle, sort of
underhanded and indirect way - not to feel it.
   (Unless, of course, you're an enlightened
"guru" and have truly mastered the whole
fantastic thing of not taking ANYTHING personally
- and though, with my Tools, we're working on
getting there, hardly any of us have actually
arrived at that place just yet - especially when
the challenging words are coming from our man...
   And even then - even if you're an enlightened
guru and don't take anything personally - at
FIRST - the first reaction you'll have will come
from such a deep, old place in you - you'll still
FEEL and EXPERIENCE the pain of the criticism.
   It's what you do AFTER you FEEL the pain that
makes you a "guru"...)
   So Miranda - my guess is that he did or didn't
do or said or didn't say things that upset you on
a deep level and made YOU withdraw.
   And while you were experiencing the pain of
what he was doing and not doing and saying and
not saying, your anger came out towards HIM in
weird ways, too.
   What most of us do is - on our way to shutting
down (which is what you did by "neglecting" his
sexual needs - or perhaps "protecting" your own
heart) - is make HIM feel UNSAFE.
   So, there you are - both of you - wanting
connection and love, and yet feeling UNSAFE.
   So - the place for you to start, Miranda, is
to start this moment CREATING SAFETY for BOTH of
you.
   Here's how:

everything you do, and especially everything you
FEEL.
   Write it all down.
   This is like a "Food" journal when you're
trying to find out if you have food allergies -
you write down everything you eat, and then the
symptoms you experienced after you ate what you
ate.
   Here, you write down your thoughts, your
feelings, what you say or do when those thoughts
and feelings come up, and what happened.
   STEP 2: Catch yourself saying and doing things
that would make YOU feel UNSAFE if HE said or did
those things.
   Here's where my 4 Rules are absolutely
essential. They're part of the foundation, along
with Feeling Messages, for all of my programs.

   We all know that men are often even MORE
sensitive than we are.
   They just don't show it.
   Instead, they bottle everything up and just
withdraw from us.
   And going after them and asking them to be
nicer or to open up, their feelings will NEVER
work.
   It's just not going to happen - men don't work
that way.
   What works is for us to simply BECOME a SAFE
PLACE - and they'll automatically feel COMPELLED
to open up!
   This means - most importantly - a safe place
for YOU - inside yourself - so that you believe
in yourself, in your feminine power, in your
ability to take care of yourself. So that YOU
trust YOU with YOU!!
   When we trust ourselves, when we feel strong
enough inside to feel our own feelings, and share
them with our men...we become a safe place for
the whole world!!!
   And to make it work for you, Miranda, you
don't have to be perfect.
   You don't have to get it exactly right.
   For Step 2, you just have to STOP DOING AND
SAYING UNSAFE THINGS - and anything that
criticizes, judges, suggests alternatives to his
ideas, or makes either you or him WRONG in any
way.
   Making him wrong will make him feel unsafe and
withdraw, and making yourself wrong will make you
want to "shut down."
   And, since that's the exact opposite of the
OPENNESS and TRUST you truly want in your
relationship...just stopping doing this will make
a HUGE difference for you almost immediately.
   STEP 3: Open up YOURSELF.
   This is, without a doubt, the most challenging
step for us all.
   Especially in a situation where you don't feel
safe enough to be intimate - and that's where
you're at right now, Miranda.
   So, how do you start?
   In the hours and hours and Tool upon Tool that
you get in my programs, I help you with this.
   I help you deal with your emotions, to work
through your old patterns of thinking and
behaviors that make you feel bad instead of good,
and start feeling better so fast that you'll find
it EASY to begin to open up in my baby-step method.
   For now, just the steps of becoming aware of
your feelings and writing them down will help you
terrifically to get this turnaround started.
   Now - get out what you've written - look at the
feelings and thoughts and events in your journal.
   See if you can find a common theme - anger,
pain, fear - and see if you can find what
SITUATIONS with your man bring up those feelings.
   Now (and this is how you do Feeling Messages) -
start to write down ways to express those feelings
in words.
   It can be as simple as - "I feel so bad at the
place our marriage is in."
   Once you've started writing down those words,
start CATCHING yourself when you're stuffing your
feelings down or criticizing him, or being angry,
or even overly nice, and start SAYING some of the
Feeling Messages you've written down.
   You could start with something as simple as "I
feel lost." Or "I feel bad."
   Sometimes we've been disconnected from our own
feelings for so long, we don't know WHAT it is
we're feeling or even how to express it.

AUTOMATICALLY create more attraction in your

   STEP 4: BE PREPARED FOR HIS ANGER.
   The first thing you want to happen, the thing
that will let you know that your relationship is
starting to heal - is when all the feelings
you've BOTH been stuffing down start to come out.
   And - because you've been going through these
Rori Raye steps, you may have started the ball
rolling with simple, easy for him to hear,
engaging, non-attacking "I feel" statements.
   But that doesn't mean HE knows how to do it!
   His way of getting his anger unstuffed may be
quite scary.
   Instead of withdrawing from you quietly and
"not wanting to be around" you - he may turn to
you and "let you have it."
   He may attack you verbally, and all his
complaints may come out in a rush.
   What I want you to do if this happens is to,
in your mind, jump up and down and scream
"Hurray!"because you've just started the HEALING
PROCESS.
   This won't work, however, if you try to get
things going by attacking HIM verbally - because
what you'll get is a fight, which will get you
nowhere, or more withdrawal, which will also get
you nowhere.
   What will work is for him to "open up" and let
his anger and his complaints fly, and for you to
just stand there and listen - WITHOUT taking any
kind of "attack" from him - and so...
   ...the next steps are all about how to
handle his emotions and your emotions while
you're listening to him...
   HOW TO STAND YOUR GROUND, and HOW TO CREATE
SAFETY FOR YOURSELF while this transition is
happening.
   You can find more about this in my "Toxic Men"
program - it will help you regain your inner
strength and express yourself in an authentic,
open, POWERFUL way to your man - a way that will
bring him CLOSER instead of making him withdraw
more.
   "Toxic" is about how to create a safe place
for yourself inside of a difficult relationship,

"making him wrong" behavior.
   He will feel heard.
   And then, amazingly enough - he'll be able to
hear YOU!

up, he will already be beginning to hear you -
perhaps for the FIRST TIME.
   Men can turn around on a dime.
   It's US that have to be consistent, steadfast
and keep to the plan - and the plan is to feel
good inside ourselves, to PRACTICE feeling good

feelings transform the entire relationship - and
HIM along with it.

   I want to dig deeper and turn your focus from
valuing "contribution," to valuing POETRY. The
poetry of you. The poetry of your feelings.
   I spoke with a client yesterday who was feeling
frustrated. She told me that as she was using
Feeling Messages, men were looking at her as
though they were getting bored. One even said that
she was "repeating herself."
   So I asked her for some examples -- and what we
did was role-play. I pretended to be a man she was
having a conversation with, and she was herself,
responding to me.
   And what we discovered is that she has been so
much in her brain her whole life, she only has one
or two feelings to work with!.
   In other words, all she could really say to
anything a man said was "I feel good." Or "That
feels good."
   So she WAS repeating herself! Here's what we
did to fix that:
   First, I asked her to read some poetry books --
by Erica Jong (one of my favorite writers), or by
any female poet she could find standing in the
bookstore or the library.
   And next, I asked her to start writing her own
poetry in this way:
   1. Stand still and look around you, touch an
object, a look at an object, and ask yourself how
it feels to be where you are.
   2. If you're stuck, like my client was, you may
come up with... nothing. You may find yourself
searching around for a feeling.
   And then you may substitute it for something
you THINK. That could look like "This room is
messy" or "That's a really good book."
   Can you see that this is a description, or an
opinion, or a statement? And not all a SHARING of
your feelings?
   This is "contributing" your THOUGHTS to a
conversation.
   To share your feeling state, and get connected
to a man much more quickly -- you might simply say
"It feels good in here."
   But we want to go deeper. So you don't find
yourself repeating yourself over and over. (Even
though, at the beginning, as you're learning to
use Feeling Messages, repeating yourself is a GOOD
start!)
   So let's start from here and dig deeper:
   3. Now you are going to start asking yourself
questions -- the same questions -- over and over
and over again. Ask:
   >> What feels good about this?
   If you feel stuck for an answer, try for a
sensation or a body feeling -- like "I feel warm
in here. My arm feels warm... "
   Put your hand on your tummy and just go for a
deeper feeling that comes to you -- it could be "I
feel calm in here." Or "That book makes me feel
happy." Or "I feel soothed."
   Now, we're getting into poetry! And you're
going to keep asking...
   >> What does calm feel like? Or what does
soothing feel like?
   Now we're starting to sink down past your
brain. It's hard to "figure out" what calm or
soothing feels like. You have to just kind of
"feel" it.
   You might come up with something like it feels
"even." Or, "It feels relaxing. It feels warm. It
feels like water." Now, keep on asking...
   >> What does "even" feel like? What feels good
about water? What does water feel like?
   Can you feel how you're digging deeper and
deeper? Can you feel how this is starting to feel
like poetry instead of thinking?
   Just keep going with this. Practice it at home.
Practice it when you're Circular Dating. That's

when I watch a nature film, and I always,
instinctively want to hold them back.
   It's only my work, my Tools, and what I've
learned that enable me to allow them to flow...and
I notice, every time, that's when my husband comes
closer. He touches me, he cuddles me.
   Vulnerability is the most erotic, most
attractive, most powerful thing we as women
possess.

HARD DISK DRIVE AND USAGE

HARD DISK-(HDD)

The original personal computer design did not include hard disk drives. Hard disk drives were reserved for large mainframe computers and remained highly proprietary in design. Today, there are four types of hard drives, each with its own method of installation.
ST506
The very first hard disk drives for personal computers used the ST-506/412 interface. It was developed by Seagate Technologies in 1980 and originally appeared with the 5-MB ST-506 drive. The ST-506 was priced at $3,000 and had a capacity of 5 MB. The ST-506/412 was the only hard drive available for the IBM computer and was the first to be supported by the ROM BIOS chip on the motherboard.
ESDI
The ESDI (Enhanced Small Device Interface) was introduced in 1983 by the Maxtor Corporation. This technology moved many of the controller functions directly onto the hard disk drive itself. This greatly improved data transfer speeds. Some ESDI controllers even offered enhanced command sets, which supported autosensing of the drive's geometry by the motherboard's ROM BIOS. The installation of ESDI drives was almost identical to the installation of ST-506 drives. The high cost of ESDI drives and advances in other drive technologies spelled their doom. Today they are obsolete.
IDE/EIDE
The IDE (Integrated Drive Electronics) drive arrived on the scene in the early 1990s and incorporated the benefits of both its predecessors. IDE quickly became the standard for computers. It supports the ST-506 standard command set, and its limited controller functions build directly on the drive's logic board. This results in a much less expensive design. Most new motherboards have the IDE connections built in; thus, the chips are part of the board design.
Western Digital and Compaq developed the 40-pin IDE ISA pinout specification. ANSI (the American National Standards Institute) standards committees accepted the standard as the Common Access Method (CAM) AT. The official name for these drives is now ATA/CAM (AT Attachment/Common Access Method). The terms IDE and ATA/CAM are interchangeable.
Enhanced IDE (EIDE) adds a number of improvements to the standard IDE drives, including:
• Increased data throughput.
• Support of storage devices other than hard disk drives.
• Up to four IDE devices instead of just two. This actually allows the BIOS to support two controllers (each with two drives).
• Support for hard disk drives larger than 528 MB.
NOTE

EIDE is the standard for most hard disks in today's personal computers. A new type of EIDE, U-DMA 66, doubles the base speed of existing EIDE drives on motherboards that have a 66-MHz bus (hence the name).
SCSI
The Small Computer System Interface or SCSI (pronounced scuzzy) has been around since the mid-1970s in one or more forms. It is the most robust of the hard disk drive interfaces, and is popular on network servers and high-performance workstations. Apple adopted SCSI as its expansion bus standard. The original SCSI standard allowed up to seven peripheral devices to be daisy-chained (connected in a series) to one common bus through a single host adapter connected to the computer bus. SCSI-2 upped that to 15, and some adapters allow multiple chains for even more devices.The SCSI bus functions as a communications pathway between the computer system bus and the SCSI device controller. That improves performance, because the card takes over the low-level commands and frees the system bus during operations that do not involve RAM. A SCSI adapter uses its own BIOS and firmware to talk to its devices, then uses a software interface layer and drivers to communicate with the operating system. There are two software interface layers: ASPI (Advanced SCSI Programming Interface) and CAM (Common Access Method). CAM is now obsolete, and ASPI comes with Windows and other operating systems. In most cases, you won't have to worry about loading the drivers unless you are updating them or installing a new card that does not have native drivers available to the operating system.
NOTE
Most SCSI cards can be configured to mimic the ST-506 hard disk drive and talk directly to the PC BIOS. This lets you install a SCSI hard drive without additional drivers. You will need the ASPI or CAM software to get full use of advanced SCSI performance features or to attach non-hard disk drive SCSI peripherals to the system.
SCSI usually costs more than other hard disk drive interfaces, but is the only one that allows both internal and external connections on the same adapter. It also allows you to attach more types of devices than any other interface. A single chain can include hard drives, CD-ROM and other optical drives, scanners, and tape drives, and others which are not registered in this blog, but i hope it will answer you question.

5.RESEACH: student obtained materials for exam and assignment with computer in the internet. Professions like doctors, teachers, engineers, barristers, lawyers etc also obtained materials for their lectures from internet with the help of computer.
6. FACTORIES: used for huge production of community
7. SCHOOL: They are used for training, keeping the students records and also the result of the student.

8. IMMIGRATION: They used computer to defect the right owner of the town point and photo coping of an individual in an immigr

CLASSIFICATION OF COMPUTER
Computer are classified into four parts, these includes, type, sizes, purpose and generation.

CLASSIFICATION ACCORDING TO TYPE
Types are classified into, Analogue, Digital and Hybrid.
1. Analogue computer; They are computer that measure physical condition of things,eg thermometer, hydrometer, analogue clock, speedometer, temperature etc.
2. Digital computer: They are those computer that measure in digits, binary numbers which is numbers in base eg calculators, digitals watch etc they are mainly used for counting and measuring.
3. Hybrid computer: They are the combination of both analog and digit computer. They make use of digitizer for converting analog signals to digital signals and Vic VERSAL e.g in traffic light Junction.

CLASSIFICATION ACORDING TO SIZES

It classified into super, main frame, mini and micro computer.
1. Super computer: It is largest computer found in the whole world, it can contain in one house and can contain more than fifty thousand people working on it, it has unlimited memory.
2. Main frame computer: They are second to the largest and they have high processing speed. They also have high storage capacity, they bulky but not as bulky as super computer. They can contains hundred users working on it. They can be found in high companies, universities etc
3. Mini computer: They are also very large not as super computer. They also have high processing speed. They can be found on seconding school, insurance companies etc.
4. Micro computer: They are the smallest computer. They are personal computer and can be easy to carry about, e.g laptop, desktop etc.

CLASSIFICATION ACCORDING TO PURPOSE
Purpose is classified into general purpose and special/ customizes purpose.
1. General purpose: they are the computers that perform different work at a time. They can also do difficult work e.g laptops, desktops etc.
2. Special/ customize purpose: They are the computers that can perform one work at a time, they are program, they are too expensive e.g Note book, palmtop, voice reorganization etc.

CLASSIFICATION ACCORDING TO GENERATION
It classified into 1st- 5st generation of computer.
1.1st Generation: They make use of vacuum tube for data processing. They are characterized by its bulky, they generate a lot of heart, and they make use of machine language which makes them very difficult to operate. They make use of punch key. It was in year 1940-56.
nd Generation: They make use of transistor for data processing. They are not as large as 1st generation. They also make us of machine language and also, they use punch key. They also generate heart.
3. 3rd Generation: 1964-1971: They makes use of integrated circuits for data processing. They are very small in bulkiness and the use of keyboard was invented during this generation.
Integrated circuit is seen as the memory and it was build by john won Neuman, they are also portable.
4. 4th Generation: They make use of micro processor for data processing, the processor is found in the (C.P.U) central processing unit. They make use of input device like keyboard, mouse, etc .they also portable and too expensive.
5. 5th Generation: This generation makes use of artificial intelligent, they work like human beings but there brain cannot work like ours. They are seen in mini industries and also they translate language.

COMPONENT OF COMPUTER
These components are what make up the computer system: they are hard ware, software, human ware and literature.

HARDWARE
They are the part of the computer which can be seen, feel or touch e.g monitor, mouse, keyboard printer, plotter, speaker etc.
a. Monitors: It is an output device that displayed the processed data.E.g monochrome, black and white monitor, colored monitor.
b. Mouse: It is an input that is used to convert soft copy into a hard copy.
c. Printer: It is an input that is used to convert soft copy into a hand copy.
Types of printer are , impact printer and non impact
Impact print : They are printer that use stricken or motion method to press a carbon or ribbon against a sheet of paper and they are characteristics and been shown by cheap and naisese e.g line and dot matrix printer.
I. line printer: they print on line at a time usually between 120- 144 characters.
II. Dot matrix printer: they are printers that form characters by using ink to strike on a ribbon against paper.
Non impact printer: They printer that printer that printers images by method of other than striping, eg laser and ink jet printer.
i. Laser: It is a printer that uses technology to produce a very light quality character by bearing the whole page at a time unto a drum. The image is picked up with a tuner.
ii. Ink jet printer: It is a non impact printer that printer’s information by shooting method and trying to spray ink over a page in order to form character.
It is characterized by been very fast, very expensive to purchase. They make no noise while printing outwork. Word
d. Plotter: they are printer which makes use of robotic arm in work.

SOFT WARE
Soft ware component of computer is a series of instruction that direct the activities a computer system. It is a programs written by computer programmers which enables user to perform his/her daily work with a computer system.

i. APPLICATION SOFTWARE: It is a program design by computer programmers to assit a computer user to perform his daily work. It applies the computer to whatever the user wants, e.g. Microsoft word etc.
Types of application software are:
General purpose and special/ customize purpose.

General purpose: These are computer items you can buy in computer shop and they serve as general purpose problems.

a. Customize/ special purpose: The are the program made by computer programmer based on individual or companies need, they are portable.
iii. System software: The se are the software written by computer manufactures which enable the system to perform its work. System software is already stored in the system when you purchase it.

HUMANWARE
This is one of component of computer system; they that people that operate the computer, e.g engineers, students etc.

LITERATURE
It is one of the components of computer system; they are the textbook, handouts that explain more about computer.

CHAPTER TWO

INTRODUCTION TO POWER POINT
A power point is computer presentation picture package or software and as the name imply enables you to present salient point of your report to other people.

DEFINITION OF MICROSOFT POWER POINT
Microsoft power point is defined as a presentation program that is used to design and present shows with attractive animation and sounds to capture the attention of the audience.
Microsoft power point is also one of the programs that make up ms office

It comes in various versions of Microsoft power point version 97, Microsoft power point 2000, Microsoft power point 2003, Microsoft power point xp, Microsoft power point 2007; e.t.c Multimedia houses find power point very important to them as it posses’ full multimedia tones for sound and picture presentation. Etc

3. STANDARD BTOOL BAR: This displays the shortcut command of the menu bar. E.g. New, open, print, copy, paste, cut, undo,
4. FORMATTING TOOL BAR: It shows the information of the fort type, size, style, alignment button etc.

FEATURES OF MICROSOFT POWER POINT

Apart from normal features window, PowerPoint has additional features which includes;
PRESENTATION:
It is a collection of your slide, handout and out line, all in one file.
SLIDE: They are the individual pages of your presentation, it can have title, text and graphics. You can print slide as blank and white or color overhead transparences and are 35mm slide made.

HANDOUT: To support your presentation you have option of providing handout. It consist similar printed version of your slide. If you want, you can print additional information such as; your company name, date and the page number on each page.

CREATING A PRESENTATION

Ø The main work of power point involves creating presentation. You can either use auto content wizard, template presentation or black presentation and Existing presentation.

OR
Ø Click on file menu chose new and click on presentation tab.
Click auto content wizard icon and follow the instruction.

AUTOCONTENT WIZARD
In most Microsoft program, the wizard helps to get started easily and finish on time.

STEPS TO USE THE AUTO CONTENT WIZARD
Ø Click on the content wizard from the startup dialog box.
Ø Follow the auto content prompt EG chose your presentation type etc
Ø Switch to slide view to see your slides.
Ø Format your presentation as color, size etc if you so desire.

Ø Preview your presentation by clicking on slide from the menu bar.

TEMPLATE PRESENTATION:

The template presentation gives you already design slides background to work with.

STEPS TO USE TEMPLATE
Ø Click on template from the start up dialog box
Ø Choose your desire template
Click ok

BLANK PRESENTATION:
This presentation allows you to start from the beginning all by your self.

STEPS
Ø Click on blank presentation from the start up dialog box
Ø Click ok
Ø Chose your desired slide then click ok

OR
> Click on file menu then click ok
> Click on presentation tab
> Click a blank presentation.

EXSTING PRESENTATION:

Means to transfer an existing presentation into the new one in order to get started.
STEPS

1. Open file menu and click o In the task pane environment click on existing presentation.
2. In the existing file name already existing presentation.
3. Click on creak new button
n new.
VIEW SHOW: Is used to view your presentation slide as they appear after final design.
STEPS
I. Select the first slide on your presentation
II. Open slide show menu & click on view show.

2. SETUP SHOW: Is used to make some setup of your representation such as hide or unhide slide.

STEPS
i. Select the first slide or presentation
ii. Open slide show & select setup show.
iii. In the setup show dialogue box, make some desired specification such as range of slide to be presented in the final presentation.
4. REHEARSETIMING: Is used in recording the specific time you want each slide to spend on a presentation.

STEPS
i. Prepare your presentation slide
ii. Select the first slide.
iii. Open slide show menu &select rehearse timing dialogue box, specify the time you want a slide to spend in a presentation show or view show by clicking on the arrow button by the left of the rehearse timing box, continue the time rehearse for the slide till the last slide. If the computer sound click on No, If you don’t want &yes, If you want to save.

STEPS
i. Open slide & click on view show

5. ANIMATION SCHEME: Enable you apply an animation effect on the entire specify slide.
STEPS
i. Select the slide you want to apply animation scheme effect.
ii. Open slide show menu & click on animation scheme.
iii. In the animation scheme task pane that appears, select the animation scheme you desire.

CUSTOM ANIMATION: Is used to apply animation effect (MOVEMENT AND SOUND) to the text or graphic on slide. It also makes it possible for you to choose animation effect of the object on the slide on entrance emphasis and exit.
STEPS
i. Select the text or graphics
ii. Open slide show menu & click on custom animation.
iii. In the custom animation dialogue task pane that appears, select your desired animation effect to be appeared on a selected object.

6. SLIDE TRANSITION: Is used to choose the way individual slides are made to display in a presentation.
STEPS
i. Select the first slide of a presentation
ii. Open slide show menu& click on slide transition.
iii. In the slide transition task pane, select the transition effect you want the slide to move on mouse or automatically. Also, select the speed of the transition.

7. HIDE SLIDE: Is used to exclude a slide from a presentation.
STEPS
i. Select the slide you want to hide in a presentation.
ii. Open slide show menu & click on hide slide.

CHAPTER THREE
PLACTICAL ILLUSTRATION OF OVERHEAD AND ONSCREEN PRESENTATIO IN (TEN) (10) SLIDE

INTRODUCTION TO OVERHEAD PRESENTATION AND ONSCREEN PRESENTATION
Overhead presentation and onscreen presentation as the name implies is a presentation where by you present your show above the human head so that your audience will have to be looking towards the projected object and see your presentation. There must be an angle of elevation between the neck and the body.
Because you will be looking up that is above your head and see it. Before you call your presentation overhead presentation and onscreen presentation you must set your presentation above human head. Before you can present your presentation overhead you must have at the back of your mind that two things are involve.

DEFINITION OF PROJECTOR
A projector is device that is designed to display an image from your computer (consumes video device) onto a large wall or movie screen.
We have audio and video projector.

HOW TO USE PROJECTOR
When operating a projector you are advised to use a remote control instead of the button that is physically on the projector.
They remote is small and silver coated.
It should be found around the video editing marching table.
NB: Note that remote only function within a 60 arc from the front and near the projector.

TURNING PROJECTOR ON AND OFF

TURNING ON
Simply press the power button to turn the projector ON.
The amber light on the projector should begin to flash green. It need to warm up so a minute or more time will be required before an image will be displayed.

TO TURN OFF
To turn off the projector press and hold the power button for two seconds. The green light on the projector will start to flash and message will appear on the projected image asking you to wait a moment.
The fan will remain on for a few minutes after which the images disappear before it is finally switched off.

HOW TO PROJECT A COMPUTER
By default, the projector’s computer impute hooked into the video editing machine in front of the cinema.
Follow this step to use this marches with the projector.
Ø Make sure the projector is On before your start, the projecting computer should be a blue screen.
Ø Press RGB on the projector remote. The screen should remain blue, but you will see RGB at the corner.
Ø On the cinema, enter the display properties either by accessing it from the control panel or by right clicking on the desktop and selecting ‘’ properties’.
Ø In the display properties window, select the setting tab.
Ø In the setting tab, click on the advanced button.
Ø In the advanced window click on device selection tab.
Ø In the advice selection tab, select Analog monitor press ok. The image will disappear from the monitor and appear on the projector screen. You can not use the monitor while viewing the computer over the projector.
Before you turn on the projector and computer, set the dip switches as show in the table below for the RESOLUTION MONE the you want to use.
NOTE: The hoot up should be done as per the above illustration before anything is turned on.
After hoot up, turn on (in order) the projector, monitor, and computer.

CHAPTER 4
SUMMARYS AND CONCLUSION
The computer itself is the heart of all the activities in the word since there is high let of development. The programs of computer are important because Microsoft power point for example is a presentation package which is used for presenting shows with good animation and sound. Media house find PowerPoint very important because is like the main tool for presenting show with different animations.

One might ask what that to be hidden is; if such is a secret, what is the need to reveal it, but I can tell you that I see it as a secret because of the vulnerable influence it have created in the minds of so many people especially youths. The truth outlives ones life. I still maintain the fact that Honesty is the best policy. Friends have always said that it is difficult for one to be honest, all through; but note it that “he that speaks truth exhibit righteousness but a false witness is deceit”. What makes you whom you are is what comes out of you and that influences your life. If your life is full of deceit, the effects will (Miss Ester C Muomah)come all of a sudden and you live to regret it. I have learn by heart this and found it to be true that Truth will surmount every arguments if you stick to it long enough; although honesty may not be fashionable but it is always right. Note this, is funny but important; two half-truth don’t make a whole truth. Don’t think of speaking half truth; “a lie has only one leg and must be supported by another lies”- T.L.Osborn. Even if there is no acceptance for honesty, better still, it has no substitute. What youths of this day called love is not love but is a mere camouflage aim at victimizing their target. Thy mistake it as just being romantic; but one thing you must know is that God is love. His love is termed Agape; the feeling of compassionate, security, neutral and balanced; which is often seen in the life of parents. Erotic love in the other hands is is a focus on sexual desire, especially the feelings of anticipation of sexual activity. It is when you see that person for the first time and he/she makes your knees go weak or gives you butterflies in your stomach. Fondly called "Love at first sight”. Most people don’t even love the person they think they are in love with…they fall in love with the idea if being in love. This is more of a lustful kind of love; it wears off after a while and hopefully leads to regret. Thus beware of so-called romantic/erotic love. Finally, I will not forget the last best known love, (after the first one in this article) recommended by me which is phyla love. This is the sincere love, the love that lasts forever. This kind of love comes when you have found the person you are destined to be with. Nothing can destroy unconditional love.
