We have a new interim rector, The Reverend Don Parker. His first official Sunday will be September 19th. We have posted his bio. We are looking forward to having him serve as our interim as we conduct our search for a new rector.

Sunday School 2010 Opens

Emmanuel’s Sunday School will begin on September 26th. Registration is open. You can either register on-line or after the 10am service on the Sundays before and on the 26th. Our Sunday School director Kathy Bentley has written a letter to parents to kick off this year’s program.

St. James Food Pantry

During the month of August we are collecting Pasta and Sauces for the St. James Food Pantry located in Woonsocket. You can drop your donations of in the baskets located at the entrances to the church.

Did you know each month there are more than 50,000 Rhode Islanders seeking food assistance through the Food Bank’s network of 285 member agencies?
