The Heathered Collection :: Incase

Incase are back with a new campaign, some new product and other new things that are new. NEW! There’s other things to talk about sure, but I like the heathered collection a lot so that’s what we’re on today…

Some of their bag designs have been reconstructed with a heather material for that oh so wonderful understated yet sophisticated look. And glorious it does look, spun fibers provide a pleasing tactile experience while device-specific pockets offer padded protection for traveling with essential technology. Ooooooo

Pieces that got heathered include the Backpack, Laptop Covers (11, 13, 15) Shoulder Bag and Tote. All available now..

THOM :: The Party

By all reportes handed in, the launch of Mr Blakeway‘s movie on his mate THOM was quite the success. Photos tell a far better story then words, and my grammar sucks anyway. So to the photos!

Globe Winter ’12

Even though Summer isn’t yet done with us (hopefully), some weirdos are already looking forward to winter. What’s to look forward to? Layering, hoodies, moon tans and scotch. Well scotch is all year round…

Here’s some of the highlights from Globe’s upcoming winter collection, due in stores later in Feb…

Best pieces include the college jacket, they’re going to be big this winter (unfortunately), townslugger tee and the Vinnie Jacket. Oh and there’s the Good Stock pants are good too, more on them in a later post…

Nixon Dark Wood

Spring releases are dropping left, right an center at the moment up north, here’s another hit from Nixon.

You’re a genius if you’ve already guessed that parts of these watches have wood in them, bravo! For those a little more slow, 8 different watches have their dials laid down with some dark wood grain. Who got the treatment? The big boy – 51-30 Tide, couple of dress styles like the Magnacon SS and Chroncile and then add to that the Platform, Spencer, Sentry and Mellor (complete with Horween leather strap) Oh. And almost forgot about the dainty little Rotolog – the watch that started the wood theme way back when (remember the skateboard deck infused ones?)

Street League & Nixon

Have you seen this watch before? We’ve thrown it up before, but not like this, not with detailed shots of both the watch an the ring. The what? Ahhh, well, each year Street League and Nixon jump into bed to produce a combination watch/ring set up for the winner of the Street League. It’s valued at $10k.

Street League have provided a look at the sketches of the original watch an ring, some detailed shots and images of it hanging off the wrist of last years winner – Nyjah Huston.

The watch is huge, but it’s a 51-30 so you know that…

Supra’s Valentines Day

Supra are always up for special project’s on those one off holidays, Thanksgiving, Black Friday and of course Valentines Day.

This year they’ve put together a V Day inspired Vaider complete with all red TUF canvas, custom red pinstripes on white foxing and gold highlights – eyelets, tongue embroidery, sock liner and heart an arrows on the heel.

Mr Porter Offices…

Have you heard of Mr Porter? you should have, it’s an excellent example of online retail mashed with editorial. Trying to give you that merchandised feel you get in retail store, ahhh maybe I’m not explaining myself properly – best bet would be to go check it out your self > Mr Porter…

Anyway, ACL (A Continuous Lean) just went and visited their offices in London. It looks pretty rad, except for the drone like desk set up.

Koston goes Green…

Do you like Koston? Everyone likes Koston. Well, I do. And I like this new colorway in his sig SB kick. It’s a glorious emerald like green with a silverish swoosh for some pop. These are so ridiculosly comfortable with the inner sole set up (lunarlon i’m pretty sure)…

You can get these from Premier in the US, maybe they ship OS?

Anyway, this is probably Nike SB’s new Janoski in terms of how many color/material variations they are going to release, think this already color run number 5? Maybe I’m wrong, but I’ve seen a few already – all pretty good except those Lakers one, purple on shoes never work.

Globe & Dion Agius

This is the second instalment of Dion’s signature collection w.Globe, his first was pretty good and this one is a good step forward. Dion’s favoured ‘where’s wally’ tee didn’t make the cut the first time, but got the call up this time round – two colors as well!, a traditional white and also a very nice burgundy colorway.

It’s an impressive move forward from his first collection with the addition of some good looking black pants, a nuts looking sweater with elbow patches (welcome back kotter!), and leather/denim combo jacket.

The high top shoes got shifted to sidelines but the lo cuts (which we think are better) keep it’s playing spot in the team.

Should be hitting stores in the next week or so.

Quiksilver’s Admiral

A nice addition to Quiksilver’s watch offering, The Admiral is a watch that will roll between causal sunday sessions and ‘suit up’ nights out (depending on your suit choice)…

The face is big but not large, it doesn’t over power your wrist but definitely brings some attention. The face has a blue tinge to it which is reinforced mineral crystal w/ anti reflect coating – pretty neat. Press the light button and you get a electro luminescent (blue!) hit.

Two choices of straps – metal or a canvas (with nubuck backing). The canvas comes in navy or army (army is the good pick). While the metal is solid marine grade stainless steel. Neat little addition is the red crown.

Available in the next couple of weeks, possibly even in some shops now.. Retails for $150 Aussie for the canvas and $200 for the metal…

If you’re looking for an in-between watch, something that you can wear pretty regularly this would be a good choice.
