<h3>Employment Law Advice for Employees and Employers</h3>

<p>Here at Employment Solicitors we aim to provide you with information on your employment rights and provide you with access to our national network of employment lawyers.<br />

This site is split into three sections advice for employees, advice for employers and genral business law. Whilst some of our employment solicitors work exclusively for employers or employees some can deal with both, just not at the same time.<br />

All our solicitors are registered with the Law Society, which means you can be sure of a high level of professionalism and quality of advice and service. All&nbsp;employment solicitors&nbsp;have a wealth of experience in employment law topics like, Unfair Dismissal, Discrimination Claims (Age, Religion, Race and Disability) and Constructive Dismissal. They are also available to draft or advise you settlement agreements and contracts of employment.</p>

<p>In addition to solicitors we also work with one or two selected practices which offer a cost effective alternative to instructing a solicitor. Whilst they not employment solicitors, they are able to run some employment law cases and they are fully registered with the MOJ in respect of claims management activities.<br />

<h2>Employment Law advice for employees</h2>

<p>If you have been unfairly dismissed, unfairly selected for redundancy, or forced out of your job by your employer then you may be able to make a claim for compensation. We would recommend that you seek advice from an employment solicitor as soon as possible. There are however a number of key points to bear in mind:</p>

<ul>
	<li>you need to have been employed for at least two years before you can claim Unfair Dismissal. There are a few exceptions to this rule which are covered in our <a href="http://www.employment-solicitors.co.uk/Unfair-Dismissal-Claims">automatic unfair dismissal</a> Section.</li>
	<li>you need to submit your claim to the Employment Tribunal within 3 months of leaving your employment.</li>
	<li>there is virtually no Legal Aid for employment law with the exception of discrimination cases under the Equality Act. Some of the solicitors listed may be able to assist you on a &lsquo;NO WIN &ndash; NO FEE&rsquo; or Conditional Fee basis. Please note those employment solicitors who offer this will only be able to do so if your prospects of winning are good. <p>If you are still employed but are having problems at work then the first thing you must do is raise a grievance. In most cases,&nbsp;raising a formal grievance with your employer can solve a problem or issue and above all else it gets your complaint on the record. An employer has a duty to investigate complaints and decent employers will do their best to rectify the situation.<br />

<span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255); color:rgb(51, 51, 51); font-family:sans-serif,arial,verdana,trebuchet ms; font-size:13px">Whilst it is possible to represent yourself in an Employment Tribunal, there is no substitute for having a highly qualified and experienced employment solicitor in your corner. Our employment solicitors are able to negotiate compensation on your behalf or submit your application to the Employment Tribunal to determine the outcome of your employment claim. An Employment Tribunal may order reinstatement or compensation or in some cases both. In some of the claims detailed above, there is no maximum amount of compensation that can be awarded.</span><br />
