Happy Birthday to my wonderful daughter, You know her, the one who it looks like we've kinda developed a pretty good relationship over the years. 
Having you honey was the most fantastic day I will ever remember.  The joy and the amazement of us, having you was dumbfounding.  And., despite the fact that your Dad nor I are perfect (surprise!) you have come so close.  You're a wonderful Mom, great wife and a wonderful daughter.  Observation tells me you fit perfectly into the sister role too. 
Have a wonderful day honey, I love you more than I can put into words but I admire you more and more as I get to know you.

When I first moved in here there were no birds coming...anywhere so..I just got some seed and left it out there.
Well, the other day I was outside and Rosco went nuts and he was chasing a bird who was eating bird seed.  So, I put in fresh seed and hung it up and its going down daily.  I guess I need to get some feeder poles etc and some more seed.  I forgot how much I missed seeing little birds out my window but I do...
Maxi is having bad days, and not so bad days.  I'm just trying to love all over him.  I think Rosco even knows when Maxi is having a bad day.  He didn't go near him yesterday morning.  Maxi is much better this morning so.  I know its just a matter of time but for now he's still here and that is good.

Ok so I find a great grill at Lowe's.  It's marked down 100.00 and I think I love it.  It was assembled so I asked for them to deliver it.  We decided that today would be a good day.  I decided since the Lowe's was close I'd be an early delivery.......HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!
I got a call at 7:30 am telling me that they would be here between...........4:30 and 7:30  PM..............Shit I tell you,,,,yes I got a lot of housework done but I have plans every Friday night and of course its not looking good is it?  GRRRRRRR.  Why do I think I'm the 7:30 delivery...just a feeling you know, but its now 6:15 and guess who's not here....and who is.
With both of my wonderful dogs who have been very good today. 
I've studied and did you know you're not supposed to cut your grass down to its lowest.  You should see my dreadful back yard.  Of course, two dogies peeing all over it doesn't help but I didn't cut it so short this time.  Now I suppose I need to do something to help it out.  Anyone have any ideas?  I really know nothing about growing grass and would love some advice if anyone has it..Is it too late in the summer to do anything? (besides encourage the doggies to pee in only ONE spot)

I have never written anything noting Fathers Day until now.  Why now?  Because the best Father I have ever known is not here this year.  For the first time he won't be here for the kids to call him and wish him Happy Fathers Day;.
How do I know he's the best Father?  I was married to him for eight years.  When we divorced I gave him full custody of my children.  My babies..  Knowing full well that he would raise two wonderful children and they would adore him.  I knew that they would never need anything and that they would have such a wonderful example of how adults should be. 
And guess what.  He did.  He took them places and doing things I would have never done.  I'm so sad that he's gone.  He and I were ok.  I admired him so very much and respected him.  Just because we couldn't live together, didn't me the mutual love and respect wasn't there. 
His death was so sudden and so hard on all of us.  I still cry.  I have these "spells" where I'm just going along and......cry.  The sorrow is overwhelming.  The man I married is not supposed to be dead.  He helped me move the last two times I did, we spent holiday's together at Zoots, and the best was last Christmas.  All of us were there together, for the first time in a long time, enjoying the holiday as a complete family.  It was wonderful.  We were so lucky to have had that time together. 
So my Fathers Day tribute is for the best dad ever and to thank him for being the man I knew he was.  I loved you.
