Third Day Family Picnic* Details:

Box Office will open at 3pm for Will Call (and according to posted operating hours may also be open from 10am-2pm)
Parking for lot A, C and P opens at 3:30PM
Doors open at 4:00PM
Concert Starts at 5:00PM
If you have tickets but lost or don't have a parking pass, stop by Will Call at 2200 Encore Parkway, Alpharetta, GA 30009 to pick one up
*No Outside Food and beverages allowed except for one factory sealed 24oz beverage container

Third day Reporters Wanted

Third Day is looking for dedicated fans to play reporter for each night of Third Day's Revelation Tour throughout October. The criteria is simple:

You must live in the area and have tickets to the concert
You must feel comfortable using a video camera and be available 2 hours prior to the show
You must be outgoing and love the band's music
You must be 18 years or older

They will choose one fan in each area, hand over the Third Day video camera and let you capture the excitement from the crowd, ask the band a couple questions, interview fans and film a few songs. Third Day's record label will edit the video into 2 minute clip to post on Third Day's site and various other outlets.

As a thank you, each reporter will be entered to win the customized Third Day Flip Video Camera. The Third Day community will vote on whose video they like best and that reporter will win the camera.

Just two more concerts to round out the end of the summer season at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater @ Encore Park:

Sugarland - September 26th. Currently sold out, and no new tickets have been released (yet) leading up to the concert.

Third Day Family Picnic - October 10th. Tickets still available.

Sample tickets released have been in ORCH 1 L and ORCH 2 Q.

Chain-wielding patron arrested in Alpharetta
August 26, 2009

Alpharetta police arrested a 21-year-old Powder Springs man Aug. 14 at the Incubus concert at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater for swinging a 20-foot chain in the seating aisles.

According to the incident report, the suspect, Jeremy Snyder, was spotted by concert security "swinging a 20-foot chain around in his right hand in a 360 motion as he ran between the aisles."

The guard asked him to stop, but the "shirtless" and "green-jeaned" Snyder reportedly ignored him. Snyder was eventually caught by security, though he had dropped the chain.

"Jeremy was later found to be extremely intoxicated," wrote police. He was charged with disorderly conduct.
