Facial recognition is a proven technology - it's even used as proof of identities in certain courts in the world. The capability of this technology extends beyond recognizing a simple flat photo to actually capturing and identifying people from live video shots of masses of people in a crowd.

There are now countless seemingly more plausible and believable explanations that the Geology shows the Earth is much younger than the millions of years and also that Noah's Flood is global. The global nature and suddenness of the Flood caused complex geological formation to occur suddenly. But if scientists didn't know that a global flood was real, then the geological formation must seem to have taken an incredibly long time to form.

New evidence have now been suggested in this article that perhaps a long time ago, there was an incredible amount of rainfall.

I find these articles very interesting because I know how the Earth was formed - as described in God's Word - The Bible. The Secular world has developed very far fetched theories, based on unfounded or unproveable assumptions. One wrong assumption after another leads to the conclusion of the Earth being billions of years old. At the same time, oral history passed on through the generations that included a global flood was regarded as legends, myth and finally fairy tales. However, there are now various new scientific discoveries (the aim of this blog is to record these) such as the above article that finds scientific evidence piece by piece, that confirms Biblical events. Yet we have to read the articles like above and pick the evidence out, and observe that even if the found the truth in the evidence, the truth is being wrapped up in the old erroneous theories, not to mentioned the jargon like Triassic Period, the Carnian Pluvial Event, etc.

The article of course talks about evidence showing there was Rain for two million years. Read deeper into the article and see that the evidence they found is actually a huge amount of water deposited all over the world. This fact is true. But because they assume there is no global flood, so the water must have been deposited in 2 million years of non-stop rain. So the evidence is still true, that there was a huge amount of water - and we know this is due to the global flood.

"So do we know that this period of rain truly existed?....While scientists were expecting to find giant arid rocks, they instead found thickly layered rocks in giant lakes and evidence of coal swamps that confirmed their theory of a long period of rainfall..."

The amount of water is only the beginning of the story. Of course a lot of the explanation in the article are different to the Bible, but it is amazing how much the facts itself are aligned with the Bible - so the interesting challenge is to separate the facts from the opinions. So the article talks about the fact that there were lots of animals that became extinct before the Rain - we know that many animals must have died due to the sudden global flood.

Its also interesting that the article blamed the rain to be caused by the burning of coal and severe climate change. It almost sounds as if it is trying to warn us of our so called present climate crisis. the coal is interesting since one of the link below explains that the Flood itself is one of the main factors that produced large amounts of coal. There are various other sources below that describes the scientific process in geology as a consequence of the global flood.

Some prophetic fulfilment of George Orwell's Nineteen Eighty Four which we are seeing in recent history.

'It's a beautiful thing. The destruction of words. Of course the great wastage is in the verbs and adjectives, but there are hundreds of nouns that can be got rid of as well. It isn't only the synonyms; there are also the antonyms. After all, what justification is there for a word, which is simply the opposite of some other word? A word contains its opposite in itself.'

Winston's friend, Syme, was explaining to him the beauty of the New Language, designed for efficiency by cutting down on words.

Fulfilment: The regime in the Middle Kingdom has invented a new writing script which is a much Simplified version of the Traditional Chinese characters. The result is of course an improvement in literacy. This in itself is a 'good' thing, but the similarities between reality and fiction (1984) should not be overlooked.

The regime no doubt will be boasting about this, just like Syme 'We're destroying words - scores of them, hundreds of them, every day. We're cutting the language down to the bone.' Then finally Syme reveals the reason for the change, in addition to linguistic efficiency: 'Don't you see that the whole aim of Newspeak is to narrow the range of thought? In the end we shall make thoughtcrime literally impossible, because there will be no words in which to express it....Every year fewer and fewer words, and the range of consciousness always a little smaller...'. There, the idea of thoughtcrime, a crime where people can be arrested for thinking the wrong thing. This is much later made into a related idea in the movie 'Minority Report' starring Tom Cruise.

And the Records Department, after all, was itself only a single branch of the Ministry of Truth, whose primary job was not to reconstruct the past but to supply the citizens of Oceania with newspapers, films, textbooks, telescreen programs, plays, novels'

Today we are dealing with Fake News. In Nineteen Eighty Four, the Fake News has been perfected by the Party. The Records Department under the Ministry of Truth, is not simply a propaganda machine. It's aim is nothing short of re-writing history. Today a version of this is already happening under the label of the 'Cancel Culture'. Any part of history that is not part of the 'narrative' will be re-written.

' The tune had been haunting London for weeks past. It was one of countless similar songs published for the benefit of the proles by a sub-section of the Music Department. The words of these songs were composed without any human intervention whatever on an instrument known as a versificator'.

The 'versificator' - is the name that we should be giving to the AI-powered music writing machine we have now in our generation. Along with this, there exist AI technology that can write How-To instruction books, History books and even Fiction. 'In a way, the world−view of the Party imposed itself most successfully on people incapable of understanding it. They could be made to accept the most flagrant violations of reality, because they never fully grasped the enormity of what was demanded of them, and were not sufficiently interested in public events to notice what was happening. By lack of understanding they remained sane. They simply swallowed everything, and what they swallowed did them no harm, because it left no residue behind, just as a grain of corn will pass undigested through the body of a bird.'

To say that this is happening in the world today may be pointless if people insist not to open their eyes and observe objectively the environment and world around them. Of course the majority don't see this and of course the Party trying to control the narrative will make things look normal. The only suggestion is look at the facts and put the pieces together. Then you will see that the narrative delivered by the news, Social Media and leaders do not always make sense. When you realize this, it is the time to start reading the news between the line.

The reference to the 'SMART TV' called the telesecreen. In the story, not only is the telescreen showing propaganda from the Party, but it is also a listening and watching device. Presumably people are required to install at least one of these in their homes by law and leave it switched on. So the Party could watch the people all day. Today, we have very nice flat LCD TVs and they are also build with Internet connectivity and called SMART TV. Not only does it deliver pictures to the homes, with the internet connection, it could deliver information out of the homes. Coupled with microphones and hidden cameras, our SMART TV are perhaps more advanced than the telescreen.

One of the ways to train Party members to not think of anything bad of the Party is Crimestop. 'It includes the power of not grapsping analogies, of failing to perceive logical errors, of misunderstanding the simplest arguments .... being bored or repelled by any train of thought which is capable of leading in a heretical direction. Crimestop, in short, means protective stupidity.'

Sometimes the twisting of facts is so obviously impossible that, there is no choice but to believe in contradictions. This is called blackwhite - essentially calling black as white and calling white as black. It is forcing oneself to believe in such contradictions and to know these contradictions as facts. 'Applied to a Party member, it means a loyal willingness to say that black is white when Party discipline demands this.' This naturally leads to a 'continuous alteration of the past, made possible by a system of thought which really embraces all the rest' known as doublethink.

To implement the above mentioned twisting of facts on a national scale, the machines of government is busy at work. 'And if the facts say otherwise, then the facts must be altered. Thus history is continuously rewritten. This day-to-day falsification of the past, carried out by the Ministry of Truth, is as necessary to the stability of the regime as the work of repression and espionage carried out by the Ministry of Love.'

'Past events, it is argued, have no objective existence, but survive only in written records and in human memories. The past is whatever the records and the memories agree upon. And since the Party is in full control of all records, and in equally full control of the minds of its members, it follows that the past is whatever the Party chooses to make it. .... At all times the Party is in possession of absolute truth, and clearly the absolute can never have been different from what it is now.' Needless to say this is what happens when people essentially are in control of the truth. Contrast this to what God wants us to know, which is rather comforting that, God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow.

A more detailed description of the Party's doublethink is '...the power of holding two contradictory beliefs in one's mind simultaneously, and accepting both of them. The Party intellectual knows in which direction his memories must be altered; he therefore knows that he is playing tricks with reality; but by the exercise of doublethink he also satisfies himself that reality is not violated. The process has to be conscious, or it would not be carried out with sufficient precision, but it also has to be unconscious, or it would bring with it a feeling of falsity and hence of guilt.

Doublethink lies at the very heart of Ingsoc (English Socialism), since the essential act of the Party is to use conscious deception while retaining the firmness of purpose that goes with complete honesty. To tell deliberate lies while genuinely believing them and to forget any fact that has become inconvenient, and then, when it becomes necessary again, to draw it back from oblivion for just so long as it is needed, to deny the existence of objective reality and all the while to take account of the reality which one denies - all this is indispensably necessary. ...... Ultimately it is by means of doublethink that the Party has been able - and may, for all we know, continue to be able for thousands of years - to arrest the course of history...'

The Appendix of Nineteen Eighty-Four is an interesting description of the lengths the Party goes through to re-write the Dictionary, and in essence, language itself to ensure that communication becomes a tool of oppression. The idea is to suppress people's ability to communicate anything that is contradictory or unfavourable to the Party's orthodox view. The language becomes stunted, so that people's thoughts and free will becomes paralysed. 'As we have already seen in the case of the word free, words which had once borne a heretical meaning were sometimes retained for the sake of convenience, but only with the undesirable meanings purged out of them. Countless other words such as honour, justice, morality, internationalism, democracy, science, and religion had simply ceased to exist. A few blanket words covered them, and, in covering them, abolished them. All words grouping themselves round the concepts of liberty and equality, for instance, were contained in the single word crimethink, while all words grouping themselves round the concepts of objectivity and rationalism were contained in the single word oldthink. Greater precision would have been dangerous.'

Naturally when reducing the words that people can use or express potentially counter-ideas to the Party, the official dictionary becomes smaller. 'So did the fact of having very few words to choose from. Relative to our own, the Newspeak vocabulary was tiny, and new ways of reducing it were constantly being devised. Newspeak, indeed, differed from most all other languages in that its vocabulary grew smaller instead of larger every year. Each reduction was a gain, since the smaller the area of choice, the smaller the temptation to take thought. Ultimately it was hoped to make articulate speech issue from the larynx without involving the higher brain centres at all. This aim was frankly admitted in the Newspeak word duckspeak, meaning "to quack like a duck". Like various other words in the B vocabulary, duckspeak was ambivalent in meaning. Provided that the opinions which were quacked out were orthodox ones, it implied nothing but praise, and when the Times referred to one of the orators of the Party as a doubleplusgood duckspeaker it was paying a warm and valued compliment.' In other words, to receive the compliment of 'bullshit artist' is the best compliment one can give to a Party member.

mRNA vaccines.

mRNA is a new technology for vaccines.

- The theory was available more than a decade ago, but technologically, it was only able to be stabilized in 2005 and be delivered as vaccines.

Catholic Priest teaches Salvation by Hearing the Word and Invites Jesus to live in us

This is a highly recommended sermon for everyone, Catholic, Protestants, Orthodox and especially non-believers.

To the protestants, please listen to this carefully, to clear out any misconceptions about our Catholic brothers and sisters. To the Catholics, this is well worth listening.

A few notable points that I remember, not in any order of importance:

1. We need to invite Jesus into our lives. Then He will live IN us and we will live IN Him.

2. For us to live IN Him, we need to live according to His Way, that is, get rid of all sinful behaviour.

3. We are saved by Hearing Him, i.e. including hearing His Word. We cannot earn our salvation.

4. Being saved means bearing good fruit. So our live must be reflecting good works (it did not say doing good to be saved).

5. So for the main title of this sermon, as we invite Jesus to come live with us, and we are saved, so we can confess directly to Him.

6. Why do we need to go to Confession? The Word says we should confess our sins to each other. The sermon did not say we confess to the priest and ask the priest for forgiveness.

7. In confessing and repenting before God, we must be right before God. One key example is we cannot have unforgiveness remaining in us, or we have to make restitution (ie. correct a wrong we have done), before coming to confession.

To my Protestant brothers and sisters - the priest did not say Confession is where the priest will forgive. He also did not say salvation is earned by good works. Hope this will clear up some misunderstanding among the children of God.

Ch 4 accident or plan
Complexity of living organisms
- mathematical impossibility of even the simplest molecules coming together. To create a combination of 100 particles, given 10e80 electrons in the universe and 30 billion years with 10e9 tries power second, is still almost impossible.
- a dna molecule is 400 linked amino acids which are complex molecules. there is almost no chance it can be formed by random combinations.
- the DNA molecule would require 1500 or 10e450 successive binary choices to create. comparing this to all information in printed books in the world is 10e20 which is only 66 successive binary choices.
- there have been many attempts to create the simple molecules of life in labs with primordial conditions but none are anywhere near conclusive.
- Similarities in evolution are used too postulate a common ancestry. In creation, similarities are a natural consequence that the creator has perogative you create different creatures, but some would obviously have similar characteristics.
- Differences in species is evidence of creation. The Creator specifically created individual species. Evolution is about species evolving into another. Hence there should be evidence of many transitional species, but there are no evidence given over 150 years of paleontology. Various animals thought to be transitional species like the fish with limb like fins, are found to be living today.
Synthetic gaps in fossil records
- the study of geological age and fossil records has gaps in the absence of transitional species.
- many modern species were found in the same ages with no evidence of evolving.
- the fish to amphibian to reptile to birds are not supported by strong fossil evidence.
- Though many animals are extinct which are mistakenly taken as evolving, majority of insects and plants are same today as in prehistory, there are no indication again of the transitioning species.

5. Uniformitarianism or Catastrophism.
- Uniformitarianism explains the geological column takes a long time to create different layers. However this is a tautology since it assumes fossil records takes long time to create and uses fossils in earth strata as evidence of a longtime.
- Catastrophism a.k.a. rapid formation - which is quite evident, suggest that different layers can be created suddenly, hence also suggesting the fossils could be recent.
- Fossilisation occurs suddenly, not over long periods of time. We can see this that when animal dies, it decays and the remains may even be scattered by other animals or the environment. It is difficult and rare to fossils starting from skeletons, then being covered with layers of earth through time. It is much easier to preserve or fossilise when there is a sudden even like volcanic eruption, or even human skeletons which are buried in one instance by their peers.
- Various types of rock formations can be formed by direct precipitation, sudden deposits of large amount of material washed to a location, large scale even continental level flooding.
- Coal and similar resources and other layered of earth are not rare to have include fossilized trees embedded across multiple columns.
- Oil and coal are more likely to be formed by massive sudden deposits of sedimentation than long process. We currently have the technology to convert garbage into oil.
Contemporaneity of the Fossil World
- The geological column composed of various strata or layers of different material does not indicate formation through time because there is no worldwide unconformity. The reason it was first assumed as time separation because of the since groups of fossils are found together in layers, and starting with the wrong assumption that the fossils belong to different time period, hence the strata was wrongly linked to time.
- Each stratum was formed rapidly, and so was the entire column, with hydraulic cataclysm, ie the different layers are formed suddenly by flow of waters.
- There are evidence of fossils from different ages are found together in the same strata.
- Fossils thought to be more ancient are found at the bottom. However this is not due to time but by physical nature. Given the assumption of worldwide hydraulic cataclysm, ocean floor animals are buried first, followed by fish, then amphibians, some reptiles. Humans and birds would be few. Though most humans would die in such a flood, they would be able to run to higher ground then still overtaken by water, but their bodies would be afloat and not buried. The types of animals from first layer to top layer are mistaken to be evolutionary path from fish to reptiles.
- Evidence of humans living with pre-historic animals. Ancient Mayan art show a pre-historic looking reptile-bird, which must be living at the time of the Mayans up to 5000 years ago (discovered by Jose Diaz-Bolio).
- The geological ages from Archaeozoic to Pleistocene to Recent should be recalibrated from fossil based age for evolution, to the different stages of the Great Flood.

6. Old or Young

- The widely accepted dating technique of rocks is not due to various scientific methods, but instead it is dated by 'index fossils'. In fact, the fossils are assumed to be very old because this fits into the evolution model. Then the reasoning is that since the rocks are so old, then the Earth would have enough time for evolutionary process to take place. In other words, this is a circular argument.

- Radiometric dating is a technique of measuring the age of geological formations, based on radioactive decay.Although the process of radioactive decay sounds very scientific, using that process to estimate the age of the rocks and earth is based heavily on assumptions that can easily be shown to be wrong. One such example is the assumption that the objects being measured, eg rocks are a closed system. However this cannot be true since the rocks would have been mix with other material throughout time. The second flawed assumption is that the radioactive decay constant, has remained constant over the millions of years. There is no proof, and humans have not been around long enough to observer that the decay constant is in fact, a constant value.

- On the other hand, there are many evidence on earth that may in fact point to a young earth. Some evidence include:

i) efflux of gases in the atmosphere, including small amounts of Helium

ii) influx of materials from space. If the earth is billions of years old, the earth would be covered with thick layer or dust.

iii) influx of material into the ocean.

iv) efflux of material from the Mantle to the Crust

v) Decay of earth's magnetic field.

Many of the above, if analysed based on the evidence, do point to a young earth of only a few thousand years.

- Recorded history of human civilisation dates back only to a few thousand years. Before that there is a complete absence of written record that can be used to establish a timeline.

- Another well established dating method is radiocarbon dating which is based on the presence of the ratio of carbon isotopes C14 to C12. This technique also suffer from similar flaws as radioactive techniques.For example, the decay rate may not be constant through time, the system may not be in equilibrium for C14 exchange, amount of natural carbon may be different in the past.

- Calculating the population growth, even with a few millions of years, the population would be unrealistic at 10^2100 (ten to the power of 2100).On the other, the calculation for a few thousand years results in a population number similar to present day.

- Measurement of solar activities also point to the Sun being much younger than the widely accepted age.

7. Ape or Man

- Cavemen have been part of the school system, museums, textbooks to the extent that it is unconsciously accepted as the truth. However, the idea of the cavemen is the result of accepting evolution as the truth. Evidence found of people living in caves does not prove conclusively their level of intelligence or development.

- There missing link between ape and men has not been found. Various findings of ape like creatures displaying some human attributes, turn out to be apes. Conversely various human like creatures like Homo Erectus and Neanderthal may in fact be human. Humans are found to have existed in the same time as these other pre-human creatures, strongly suggesting they could all be humans, not different stages of evolution.

- Evolution inevitably would explain the differences in race as one being better than the other. We know inherently that no one race is better than the other, which is more consistent with the fact that God created humankind and does not place any race above another.

- Human languages sets us apart from animals. Evolution is totally incapable of explaining the origins of language. Ancient civilisations are known to have complicated language structures.

- Actual written records of ancient civilisations date back to only few thousand years BC. This is consistent with age since Creation, when man is supernaturally created by God.

- Evolution explains the progress of humans from savage cavemen, to the development of farming and civilisation. This also reflects the use of tools of various technologies corresponding to different periods like stone age, bronze age, iron age - with the concept of evolution internally build-in. Creation allows for the fact that different societies may have been using different technologies in the same period of time.

- The dispersion of humans from the centre also explains the fact that man was dispersed from the region in the Middle East / Babylon. Historically the most ancient civilisation are found in the same area. It makes sense that the people who did not disperse too far formed bigger and more complex societies, whereas those who travel across to other continents may become more nomadic in their societies such as from the Babylon area to the Americas and Australasia.

- Cave paintings and other evidences point to sophisticated dwellers rather than savages.

- The spiritual and religious needs of the humans are also evident in cave dwellers. There is no evidence that animals are religious in any way. Thus evolution is unable to explain the special religious attribute of Man that are not present in any kinds of apes or other animals from which Man is supposed to have evolved from.

The article talks about creating a hybrid of two different species of fish.

What's more interesting is the statement "Both species are known as living fossils, like crocodiles, because they have changed so little throughout their evolutionary history."

The above statement is funny in that it is based on the assumption that evolution is correct. It is far more easier to explain if the assumption of revelation is removed. These fish, like most other animals are simply not ancient at all. The assumption itself contradicts evolution, since if they have evolved into better types of creatures, they should not be found in the same form as their old fossil cousins.

Seriously now. Economic Collapse is not inevitable even in social isolation.

Why Social Isolation?
Everyone knows the answer to this, at the current time of writing as the world is in the clutches of the serious COVID-19 (Novel Coronavirus) PANDEMIC. Governments has not choice (they think) to enforce social isolation rules. This is one way to reduce the spread of infection.

A great article in http://endtimesforecaster.blogspot.com/2020/03/covid-19-you-will-be-exposed.html . Thoroughly enjoyed that article. My post here, is in no way, oppose to that article. In fact I emphasise here that modelling in that article is great, I agree that most people will get infected in that rate, and grateful for the health tips in that article. My post here is about a tangential thought I would like to share, and no government has yet described or shared my idea below.

So let's explore the idea of pro-longed Social Isolation and De-Bunk the government / media / popular belief that economic collapse will happen. It is not necessarily so!!!

What do humans need at the most basic level?
In Psychology theory, Maslow's Trigangle shows a 5 step Pyramid of human needs. Let's focus on the most basic level - because we are thinking of economic collapse and disaster for humans. So the first level is: "Physiological needs - these are biological requirements for human survival, e.g. air, food, drink, shelter, clothing, warmth, sex, sleep. If these needs are not satisfied the human body cannot function optimally." https://www.simplypsychology.org/maslow.html

In short, let's highlight FOOD and SHELTER (which provides for SLEEP) as the two most important things.

SHELTER - is this under threat while in Social Isolation?
NO. Without considering secondary reasons, the answer is simply no. Many people are confined in their homes. COVID-19 is not a tornado, bushfire, tsunami, volcano, earthquake and so on. Will the physical home/building stand, when COVID-19 is rampant. YES - our homes would not break down. Let's talk about rent and finance later.

FOOD - is this under threat while in Social Isolation?
NO. Farmers in wide open field can still operate. Crops can be harvested. Logistic, Supply Chain, Transportation can still operate. A truck driver is alone, driving large amounts of food from the farms to somewhere. Large amounts of food can be shipped by sea or air and the air-crew, ship-crew are operating in isolation - they don't need to stand close to another human.

Let's consider rents and finance now. Above just included to groups of people that will not struggle to pay rent for their shelter. The farmers and the transportation personnel. No change to their industry fundamentally yet. They are still very much needed.

INFRASTRUCTURE AND BUILDING INDUSTRY - is this under threat while in Social Isolation?
NO. Continuing the chain from above, who is going to provide SHELTER to the farmers, drivers, pilots, the ship crew? The home builders, the brick layers, the plumbers, the tilers, the gardeners, the list is endless. These group of providers work in isolation or in safe social distance. They don't need to be close to each other. Besides the Shelter-related industry above, what about builders of Railway, Ships and shipyards, CARGO Aircrafts, Runways, Dams, Gas lines, Electricity Lines - again an endless list. These workers do not need to stay in close contact - social distancing allows their jobs to function.

FOOD TRANSPORT to the masses -
How do we get food to people individually, since the above only described bulk transportation?
We are already doing this before COVID-19. It's called online shopping. Food can be delivered by supermarket delivery people, contracted delivery people, Gig Economy type of fast-food delivery like UberEats, Foodora, etc. And maybe Amazon's Drone-copters. This is yet another revenue generating industry employing workers who can perform under Social Distancing rules.

So hopefully you get the idea that a large range of industry is still needed and can function under new Social Isolation environment. These are just providing the basic FOOD and SHELTER.

As we move up the hierarchy of basic human needs, a list of other services come into play. These services provide fulfilment of these needs, and also generating revenue and sustaining those industries. Just some examples.
Healthcare - doctors, nurses, psychologists, surgeons, etc. GPs can perform tele-medicine. Hospitals can be designed not to be crowded.
Entertainment - already musicians are performing over the web directly.
Hairdressers, IT Support - OK to operate in social distancing form.
Clothes and other shopping - Online
Warehouses - OK to operate in social distancing form.
Many small businesses, newsagents, florist - OK to operate in social distancing form.

All of the above discussion are about what can continue. The above types of business and economy will not collapse because they are providing a need and therefore also generating income for the people to survive.

Here is the main point of this article and the BIGGEST change that needs to happen, but not impossible. A hint is the Hospitals comment above, that they can be operated in a safe, social distancing way. Now lets consider the following:

OFFICE / WHITE COLLAR JOBS - this is a highly contagious environment, in the tall buildings, in the cities where people are crammed together. In this aspect I most definitely agree with the article referenced above. These people will spread the COVID-19 or other virus to each other and cannot be avoided if OFFICE work is to continue in the same form.
Solution: Work from home. This is not a theory or niche practice. The COVID-19 has made every office worker in the world, at this time of writing, to be working from home. The technology has proven that this is possible.

SCHOOLING / UNIVERSITIES - Don't need to say much - See above.

What about lack of social interaction? People are socially interacting online. Even physical activities like exercise classes or dance parties are online.

Schools and Office Work (White collar) are the two main activities of city-dwelling people and they are the easiest ways to pass the disease. Most of you reading this are living in cities - what do you and your children do most of the day before COVID-19? Most of you go to office to work, and your children go to school. Just this two industries White Collar Office Work and Schooling occupy so much of our activities in the day, yet they DON'T have to be performed in a large gathering of people.

To summarise:
1. White Collar Office Work in concentrated tall building in cities are outdated.
2. Schools and Universities physical classes are an outdated concept.
3. The rest of the economy will survive because they are providing for our needs and can operate with safe social distancing.

Hopefully some Decision / Policy makers will see the benefit of this idea. And Economic Collapse does not need to be so if we can change.

Eucharist, Covid-19, Body and Blood of Christ

The following post may be a controversial subject, so there will not be any conclusion made at the end; rather it is left open to the readers to ponder.

It is among the Catholics belief that the Bread and Wine, also called the Eucharist, that are usually consumed at Mass, are actually transformed to become the real Body and real Blood of Christ. There are many quotes and writings on this, and this Wiki link may lead to much more details: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transubstantiation. The process of changing from Bread/Wine to Body/Blood of Christ is called 'transubstantiation'. The teachings does not explain how it occurs but accepts it as a mystery.

Recent pandemic (just declared by WHO today) of the Covid-19, has forced many public events or large gatherings to close. One type of such gatherings to close include churches, irrespective of Catholics or non-Catholics. In light of the spread of virus, and evidence to suggest that the virus spreads to anyone, believers and non-believers, Catholics and non-Catholics, it is understandable that some Catholic and some non-Catholic churches decide to cancel their weekly gatherings, including Mass.

Christ is the One and Begotten Son of God, who is now seated at the Right Hand of God the Father. His Body and His Blood is pure and holy, there is no corruption, meaning no decay. In particular, Christ is the First Born of the Resurrection, which means He has a Resurrected Body - it is this Body and Blood which has no decay nor imperfection. If Christ so chooses, he can physically be on Earth in the midst of Covid-19 and His Perfect, Resurrected Body will not be infected/affected by the virus.

The question to ponder for ourselves is that, if the Bread/Wine (Eucharist) become the Body/Blood of Christ, the virus would have no affect on it? Then if we were to consume the Eucharist, taking Christ Body/Blood into our own, we too will not be affected by Covid-19? Is this a fair reasoning? On the other hand, if people become infected after sharing the Bread/Wine, what are the implications to the sacred-ness of the Eucharist?

New Age of the Earth or How long it took to form?

To be accurate, this article is not about how old the Earth is. Rather, it is about the time it took to form Earth. The article is highlighted here mainly to point out the fact that, when dealing with 'Big' Science such as Cosmology or the Formation of Stars and Planets, there is no definite or correct answer. Of course, this is no surprise to the true scientists, they know that these are theories based upon assumptions on top of other assumptions and so forth. So the scientists will among the first people to get excited when new information prove their old theories wrong.

In the article above, basically the new findings suggest, not prove, that the Earth could have been formed in 5 million years. This is very short compared to their previous understanding that the Earth took over tens of millions of years to form. This is no closer to the almost instantaneous time God took to create the heavenly bodies, but from tens of millions to a few million years is a drastic step in the right direction mathematically.

To go a bit into the detail, the new findings is based on the amount of isotopic iron Fe-54 found on the Earths' mantle. The amount is subtantially less than previously thought, thus leading to the thinking that the Earth was formed quicker than previously thought. It is also interesting that the article uses the analogy of sphagetti bolognase to explain the composition of the iron isotope. Using analogy is not something that should be scoffed at - as an example, many of Einstein's theory were developed simply from thought experiments, which are analogies. In this case of estimating the Earth's formation time, it also noteworthy then, to realize that time scales such as the age or formation of the earth has no direct measure. Their calculations and methodology may be no better or no worse than using analogies, and thus their results cannot be claimed to be certain. On the other hand, God's Word has been proven to be 100% correct.

As of today, the ratio of death to infected is about 1,400 to 65,000 which is about 1:50. This is much less that the biblical reference of one third of the population will perish which is 1:3. However, this could be a foreshadow of what is to come.

Previously we took the ratio of death to infected. However, for those who are infected, some may recover while others would be fatal. So to get an indication of how deadly COVID-19 is, it is better to use the death to recovered ratio. From this set of Hubei statistics, the death to recovered ratio is 1596 : 5623, or equivalent to 1 : 3.52. Comparing this number to Scriptures above, 'a third of mankind killed', that ratio is 1:2 (two thirds not killed). Although the ratio is not the same, it is not too different either.

A few unexpected developments with COVID-19, since the last update. Korea has overtaken Singapore as having the most infections apart from China; Japan should not be counted second or third place because its numbers included the cruise ship which had a few hundred infections. The virus seems to be more contagious than first thought, now it is believed the virus can be passed from people with no symptoms and able to survive outside of its host fr longer periods. Those who have followed the financial markets since the beginning of the Covid-19 Novel Coronavirus pandemic, may have thought a market crash may be cushioned by switching investments from Equities to safe-havens like Gold or Bonds. They would also have seen though, that these safe-havens were not spared the downturn, although not as savage as equities. WHY are gold and government bonds falling? The Scripture interprets itself. The dry bones coming back to life is the nation of Israel. The nation was created into existence again in 1948, after thousands of years in non-existence.
1 Thessalonians	5:3	2 For you yourselves know well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. 3 When people say, “There is peace and security,” then sudden destruction will come upon them as travail comes upon a woman with child, and there will be no escape. 4 But you are not in darkness, brethren, for that day to surprise you like a thief. 5 For you are all sons of light and sons of the day; we are not of the night or of darkness. 6 So then let us not sleep, as others do, but let us keep awake and be sober.	People will be very unexpecting of this 'event', seems like the peace they longed for has finally come, but something surprising is around the corner. This event may be the Rapture. Note also that many Believers claim we should not care about this passage since Lord will come like a 'thief' so no one knows. But v4-5 clearly shows the Lord wants us to be ready, and we should know the approximate, though not the exact time.
1 Corinthians	15:51-53	51 Lo! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed. 53 For this perishable nature must put on the imperishable, and this mortal nature must put on immortality.	Rapture - twinkling - in a split second.

Zechariah	12	2 “Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of [b]drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples, when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem. 3 And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it. ........ 10 “And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn.	The 'cup of drunkeness' as if the neighbours are drunkenly drawn to something in Jerusalem. Something they wanted so badly and cannot help themselves for trying to get it by force. Further down, after God saves Jerusalem, He will also reveal Himself to His people. They will recognize the Messiah as Yeshua whom was pierced in His First Coming.
Daniel	9:24-27	24“Seventy [e]weeks are determined For your people and for your holy city, To finish the transgression, [f]To make an end of sins, To make reconciliation for iniquity, To bring in everlasting righteousness, To seal up vision and prophecy, And to anoint [g]the Most Holy. 25 “Know therefore and understand, That from the going forth of the command To restore and build Jerusalem Until Messiah the Prince, There shall be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks; The [h]street shall be built again, and the [i]wall, Even in troublesome times. 26 “And after the sixty-two weeks Messiah shall [j]be cut off, but not for Himself; And the people of the prince who is to come Shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end of it shall be with a flood, And till the end of the war desolations are determined. 27 Then he shall confirm a [k]covenant with many for one week; But in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, Even until the consummation, which is determined, Is poured out on the [l]desolate.”	According to the prophecy, the Israelites will be send back to Jerusalem to rebuild it and then 7 and 62 weeks later, the Messiah will come for the first time. Historically this is consistent between the time Artaxerxes gave the command to rebuild the temple till the time Jesus entered the Temple which is 483 years. This is because 69 weeks = 69 x 7 days = 483 days which is 483 years. Following this, it is natural to take the last week, the 70th week, as 7 days which means 7 years of tribulation, during the End Times. In the last verse, it describes in this last week, the Anti Christ will make a covenant, likely to be a peace treaty. But he will break the treaty in middle of the seven years and shall end the temple sacrifices and does abominable things in the Temple. From this, it is also clear that the temple sacrifices will be restarted someday in our future, after the temple is again rebuilt.

Ezekiel	38

In that day a man will look to his Maker, And his eyes will have respect for the Holy One of Israel. 8 He will not look to the altars, The work of his hands;	Although this passage has been applied when the Assyrians ruled over that region, Damascus was rebuilt and exist today. Hence this prophecy must be of the future, where the city will not rise again. At the future time, most of Israel will also be in similar fate to Damascus. Though a remnant may be saved, the rest will endure and will finally look up to God, rather than looking towards their idols for an answer.
Ezekiel	38: 1-6	Now the word of the Lord came to me, saying, 2 “Son of man, set your face against Gog, of the land of Magog, [a]the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal, and prophesy against him, 3 and say, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Behold, I am against you, O Gog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal. 4 I will turn you around, put hooks into your jaws, and lead you out, with all your army, horses, and horsemen, all splendidly clothed, a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords. 5 Persia, [b]Ethiopia, and [c]Libya are with them, all of them with shield and helmet; 6 Gomer and all its troops; the house of Togarmah from the far north and all its troops—many people are with you.	This speaks of a Northern alliance of nations that will come against Israel. The nations are identified using their old names, many would be here today but difficult to identify. The fact that these nations are named individually suggests they are still independent nations, which also suggest, the Anti-Christ has not controlled the world at that time.
Ezekiel	38:7-13	10 ‘Thus says the Lord God: “On that day it shall come to pass that thoughts will arise in your mind, and you will make an evil plan: 11 You will say, ‘I will go up against a land of unwalled villages; I will go to a peaceful people, who dwell [d]safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates’— 12 to take plunder and to take booty, to stretch out your hand against the waste places that are again inhabited, and against a people gathered from the nations, who have acquired livestock and goods, who dwell in the midst of the land. 13 Sheba, Dedan, the merchants of Tarshish, and all their young lions will say to you, ‘Have you come to take plunder? Have you gathered your army to take booty, to carry away silver and gold, to take away livestock and goods, to take great plunder?’ ” ’	The description of the armies that will gather and come down upon Israel in the Last Days. Their motivation appears to be the rich resources of the land that they are trying to plunder. It appears no other nations will come to the defence of the land but their will be protests from Sheba(Ethiopia?), Dedan(Saudi Arabia?), Tarshish and her young lions(U.K.?and U.S?)
Revelation	6:1-2	And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. 2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.	1st Seal. Though this horse is White, the rider who people thinks is the Messiah is the False One. The true Messiah is Yshua, who is the Lamb. In verse 1 itself, it is the Lamb (Yshua, Messiah) who opens the First Seal that allows the Rider on the White Horse to come out. Also Yshua, the Lamb, is Lord - the Lord would not need to conquer, but the White Horse rider is one who tries to conquer.
Revelation	6:3-4	3 And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. 4 And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.	2nd Seal. This would cause 'wars and rumours of wars' and 'nations against nations'. There will be war and violence.
Revelation	6:5-6	3rd Seal. 5 And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. 6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.	3rd Seal. This is a picture of economic collapse and hyperinflation.
Revelation	6:7-8	7 And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. 8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.	4th Seal. The Pale Horse rider will bring death. This is the harvest or result of the wars brought by the Red Horse rider and the economic collapse brought by the Black HOrse rider.
Revelation	6:9-11	9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: 10 and they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? 11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.	5th Seal. The martyrs are justified in God's presence. They cry out for justice and were told to wait a little more.
Revelation	6:12-17	6th Seal. 12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; 13 and the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. 14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. 15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; 16 and said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: 17 for the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?	Natural Global catastrophes will occur. Signs in the sky include Sun and Moon dramatically change colour. Upheavals on the physical earth include great earthquakes and tectonic events on the scale that can literally move mountains.
Revelation	13:1-4	And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. 2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. 3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. 4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?	Dragon=Evil One, Beast=Anti-Christ. Speaking blasphemy shows that the beast is clerly against God. The sand of the sea - could mean a multitude of people. The Seven heads and Ten horns could mean the Anti-Christ will rise out of a group of united countries/governments. The beast was wounded, showing there will be opposition to him. 'able to make war' means that the beast will be fighting against some nations, and we does not automatically control all countries
Revelation	13:5-9	5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. 6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. 7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. 8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. 9 If any man have an ear, let him hear. 10 He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.	'continue forty and two months' meaning 3.5 years which is half of the 7-year tribulation period. There will be God's people, saints, on earth who will oppose the Beast. He will also force people to worship him, even though his blasphemies seem endless.
Revelation	13:11-18	11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. 12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. 13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, 14 and deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. 15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. 16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: 17 and that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six	This second beast that rise out of the water will be like the priest pointing to the AntiChrist, first beast. The second beast can communicate with the evil one (dragon). His main role is to cause people to worship the first beast. He does this through miraculous things, like making fire come down from heaven and making the image of the beast to speak. He also forces people to receive the mark of the first beast, otherwise they cannot buy/sell.

Something incredibly significant with biblical repercussions is happening.

It seems the Dead Sea Scroll contains some invisible writing. So far the researchers believe that
"New fragments have been identified from the books of Deuteronomy, Leviticus, and Jubilees, also known as the Lesser Genesis".

Depending on the age of these writing, it could show that many of the claims that the Bible were written after the Old Testament miracles were false. This will show that the prophecies were indeed prophecies, and not written after-the-fact.

The Ancient Origins of Both Light and Dark Skin

Yes another article turning the table on beliefs that was based on the incorrect theory of Evolution. Simple scientific theory means that any theory build on the wrong initial assumption, ie starting point, must be wrong. This is the case here where Evolution of Humans from Apes is taken as fact, and then used to explain the difference between light and dark skin people.

The article claims to have found evidence that the previous thought that humans originated out of Africa and everyone had black skin - then evolved into light skin when they moved to other continents; is incorrect. Based on the evidence of diversity of genes and genes for light skin found in ancient Africa, this was used to debunk the previous theory. However the article jump to the opposite conclusion that people were originally light skin, which may also be incorrect.

They would get much better conclusion if they referred back to Genesis which shows that humans can trace our unity back to Noah and then diversified starting from his three sons: Ham, Shem and Japheth.

We all know God is all sovereign and all-powerful. Nothing in the world happens without is Him allowing it. So what can we say about the natural disasters that is hitting recently?

- Aug 21 - Eclipse - many people were joyously watching wherever they can. A minority of Christians have taken to YouTube to preach the eclipse Aug21 as a warning, followed by another sign in the constellations that is about to happen on Sep 23.

- Aug 26 - Hurricane Harvey - this started being noticed as a tropical storm on Aug17. Most people who were not in the meteorological circles were busy with the Eclipse news. On Aug23, it developed into a depression and warnings began to appear to the public. After various uncertainties of how intense it could be, it strengthen in Aug 24 and finally reached land on Texas on Aug26, causing devastating floods. Can we say the deaths from natural disasters are God's fault? This is very hard to accept even for Christians. What else can we say? God didn't do it, the weather did it? So that means God cannot control the weather. Or how about the evil did it. This implies the Evil One has influuence over the weather, but I don't recall an instance where the Evil One influence the natural world, like weather, being mentioned anywhere in the Bible. On the other hand, Jesus clearly controlled the storm, the waves, performed anti-gravitational exercise, etc.

So should the question be whether God caused the deaths of people at all? We know God is good. We know God is all-powerful. Should there be a contradiction in God is good AND He let people die? God is One, there is no other God and Jesus spoke to His Father as another person and Jesus spoke of the Holy Spirit as another person. Should there be a contradiction in God is One and God is Three persons. We cannot have answers to these questions because we cannot understand them, but we know each part mentioned above is true as fact.

Then if God is responsible, the question turn into a question of judgment. Is God judging the people?

Luke 13 Now there were some present at that time who told Jesus about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices. 2 Jesus answered, “Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans because they suffered this way? 3 I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish. 4 Or those eighteen who died when the tower in Siloam fell on them—do you think they were more guilty than all the others living in Jerusalem? 5 I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish.”

The best answer is of course given by Jesus Himself. The above questions ask if the people were worse sinners, and the answer is no. But yet, they were still sinners. The answer no given by Jesus, was not the focus. Instead, the focus is on us to Repent.

Matthew 5:45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

Those killed, who were believers, will be in the presence of the Lord. Those who were not believers, will not be in the presence of the Lord. In either case, their stories are completed. But we who are still on this earth, rather than questioning God, should take these disasters as a reminder to ourselves to Repent and look to the Lord.

Sign of Jonah

There have been various explanations of the mysterious phrase "Sign of Jonah"

Recently however, with the news of the Eclipse of Aug 2017, there are other interpretations that the sign of Jonah could be the Eclipse that happened around 763BC (fact check please). During that period there were wars and disease outbreak in Nineveh. So these events plus the eclipse may cause the Ninevites to have a repentant heart just before Jonah arrived. So the sign here is pointing to the eclipse as the sign of Jonah. This seems a very plausible explanation.

However, the Word of God (ie the Bible), can stand alone, although it can be verified by external facts. So using the Bible to explain itself, here is the original passage:

Luke 11:29-32 The Sign of Jonah
29 As the crowds increased, Jesus said, “This is a wicked generation. It asks for a sign, but none will be given it except the sign of Jonah. 30 For as Jonah was a sign to the Ninevites, so also will the Son of Man be to this generation. 31 The Queen of the South will rise at the judgment with the people of this generation and condemn them, for she came from the ends of the earth to listen to Solomon’s wisdom; and now something greater than Solomon is here. 32 The men of Nineveh will stand up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it, for they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and now something greater than Jonah is here.

Matthew 12:39-42

Man's limit is 120 years old

The first article below seems to suggest that humans have a age limit, even though human lifespan has increased steadily over the last hundreds of years. The second article seem to counter this saying there is no limit, and the first article uses to little data to reach the conclusions.

What is most surprising is that the age limit mentioned by the first article is around the 115-125 years. This is of course no surprise for those who take God at His Word - see below.

Science catching up to God's Word - Age Limit

Two quotes from the article:

The researchers are contemplating the idea of a natural limit of life, and statistics so far point suggest 120 years. The oldest person being 122 years probably fall within statistical error or could even be error in records. Though this limit does not appear to be scientifically conclusive and the scientist still talk about extending life since they do not know about God's limit, it is still interesting in that scientific facts so far do point to God's limit.

The Pokemon Go is all over the news over the last week in Australia and longer in the US. Yet more countries will follow soon shortly. I was out in the park for brief period of time over 4 days this week and saw some groups of people lurking - and realized, after hearing the news, that they must be playing the app. I was curious about the App and almost downloaded it, but was just to busy with other things.

Anyway, had a casual discussion with my relative and he alerted my to this, please have a read:

So after reading that, more thoughts grew in my head and I did more googling, and decided to share some findings here. A few other interesting links are here below. Note that the Pokemon cartoon is not new - has been around since 1997.

This is a very good article citing Biblical perspectives. There was no stretching of the Scriptures at all to argue the case against Pokemon, it was so plain and clear. It is easy to overlook some of these until it is pointed out.

Essentially given a list of people with a certain profile, the technology is available to know exactly where on earth these individuals are at this point in time. This technology (smartphones) has been with us a few years now - not science fiction.
