Oh and I am in major dress-obsession mode. I can’t believe how amazing this piece looks on her. And with that necklace, which adds both statement and simplicity, it’s all just to die for. This is the dress style that I want. THE dress!

We covered the “backyard” color board last time. Today we have a “downtown” inspiration board. This is a perfect San Francisco 2011 wedding palate.

The sign in table was just gorgeous! Lizzie really did the details up here. Such an amazing and totally unique way for people to say hello and sign in at your wedding! And this little canvas tree idea has already been used again.

Jasmin from Wildflower Event Florals did a phenomenal job on all of the flowers. The bouquets were just stunning!

Definitely the greatest shot of a garter catch ever!

And now for the surprise of the night. The MOH and a slue of other people worked hard to create a 20 minute video with each of the BMs and GMs wishing the bride and groom well and telling stories from the past. It was hilarious and sentimental all in one. And it was the perfect little surprise for them.

This day really was perfect, and I am so honored to have been a part of it.

I really have never seen such an amazing first look. The photographs really show the excitement, love and emotion of it all. Obviously I wasn’t there for this part, but we were on the balcony of the venue watching and crying during the whole thing!

After looking through over 900 photos of the day, I have chosen a batch that will give a bit more of an insight into their amazing day.

All photos were taking by the unbelievably incredible Jason + Anna Photography. And let me tell you, they really were that incredible. I swear Anna is the MacGyver of weddings. It all started when she helped one of the bridesmaids put on faux eyelashes, then by having a perfect color cardigan for a photo we were doing, and lastly, she was able to help us work out a last minute secret surprise for Liz and Ryan. On top of all that, they were so nice and amazing, and are now doing both mine and Melissa’s wedding as well! So, we obviously highly recommend these amazing artists!

So here we go with this rustic and romantic Livermore winery wedding!

Getting ready is definitely one of my favorite photo opportunities as far as weddings are concerned. And this was definitely a fun time for all of us!

Here are a few of my fave dresses that I would love to see as BM dresses! They are both a little bold and both a little unstructured, and best of all, they are both statement! While you may be falling in love as well, these are both from J Crew with a larger price tag than your party may want to spend. Use this as inspiration and shop places like Forever 21 and H & M to find something similar.

Here are a few ruffle options. Two of these are $20 dresses and the other 2 are a bit more pricey. I personally love that black number.

Ok, I admit I went a little crazy with the J Crew options here, and if you are looking for budget dresses then I apologize. They are just so pretty and so perfect for BM central! These two are a bit more structured and chic, but I love them just the same. These would be gorgeous at an old barn wedding with some ultra-chic decor.

Don’t get discouraged with the bridesmaid dress shopping! There are tons of options out there. Send some inspiration photos to your bridesmaids and have them do the search for something in their budget. This is one thing you can relinquish control on because as the bride, you have a lot of things to focus on other than finding your girls dresses! But at the end of the day, great looking bridesmaids will only enhance your look and make you stand out amongst the already great style of your girls!

Today was a very fun week for me! I secured the venue, figured out a lot of cute details to use, and found some great vendors. All while working with Ian on the new site, and getting another really fun writing job. I can’t wait for this wedding now that I can picture it all. It’s going to be a blast! This week I definitely talked a lot about dresses as it is something I think I need to get pretty quickly.

First there was the dress I found online which I fell in love with. It may just be the photos, but I was definitely loving this design! Going to go try it on and see how it looks! YAY

This is one of my most favorite ideas ever! Paper straws. I am totally obsessed and totally using these for the wedding :) They are going to be incredibly awesome too.

Oh and BTW, VENUE FOUND! Eeeeps. It’s totally done. That whole long search, yay! Check out the venue pics here.

Here is a shot of my favorite dress ever! I contacted the photographer to see if I could find out who makes the dress or if she was selling it or something! But this is definitely my dress inspiration.

Here are some definite dessert must-haves that I love. Macaroons, cupcakes and cookies and milk. Such yummy alternatives for bridal showers, engagement parties, and just about anything else!
