Small text in lower right reads:

Signs from the Philippines (Viral Email)

Here are the contents of another viral email that has gone around - apparently originating from the Philippines. Generally speaking Filipinos are good English speakers, but it seems you can find some Engrish here and there.

I have seen this last one before - not sure if it actually originated in the Philippines or not:

This photo of a Japanese used PC and computer parts shop has been making the rounds on the internet recently. It is not just a cheap rip-off of Microsoft Windows - the word ‘binbo’ （貧乏）in Japanese means ‘poor’, so the bilingual pun works on a promotional level as well (to sell their ‘ultra-cheap’ computer parts as the characters on the far left signify).

The Winblows Windows logo is just an inverted version of their old logo, so this shop sign may not be around for too much longer if MS can help it.

Found in a recent post from The Consumerist. Location in Japan unknown.

Japanese Dog that Smiles :)

Around 34 seconds into the video, you can see the dog make a big grin when his master asks “wanna go for a walk?”. He doesn’t seem to smile at all to strangers (1:14).

The master goes on to say that his dog really started to smile a year after he took him in. He is so cute he has become an “idol” in the neighborhood.

This hat was spotted on the JR Yamanote Line near Yoyogi in Tokyo Japan. It is not quite Engrish grammatically speaking, but it is quite bizarre. I am almost positive that the hat was purchased in Japan.
