What is Etiquette?

Practicing good manners.

knowing how to behave in a given situation.

Knowing how to interact with people

Communication Type:

verbal: what you say and how you say it.

Non Verbal: Handshake, posture, eyecontact, facial expression and confidence

Basic Etiquettes

Always Be Punctual.

Don't chew any thing inside the class and during the working hours.

you never get a second chance to make first impression. Your character your ability judged in first impression itself.

Good Grooming is essential.

smile and make eye contact.

speak slowly and clearly

voice should be audible

Give firm handshake.

Neat and clean from head to toe.

make sure that the tatoos, body art should not be visible.

clean your nails and nail polish must be conservative.

Have a conservative haircut.

check hair, face and cloth before entering the room.

wear a suit that is either grey, navy or charcoal.

clean pressed white shirt.

wear black leather shoes

Don't wear too much of jwellery

communication

verbal: Develop your vocabulary, cut out slang, specific acronyms, and youthful talk. Take turns when
speaking, and don’t hog the conversation.

Non verbal:Attend to posture, eye contact, facial expressions and personal space/distance. Remember to
smile! Not giving the speaker your full attention conveys that ―there is something more important than
you‖ and it can be considered very rude

Written: Short, concise, error-free
Listening: Stop talking, show interest, ask questions, and don’t interrupt

Telephone Etiquette
The telephone is used a lot in the selection process including setting up interviews, phone interviews, and job
offers. Make sure your telephone etiquette is top-rate!
Tone of voice is 70% of initial impression; words spoken 30%. Speak with a smile in your voice (and on
your face)
Focus on the call; not on doing something else
Don’t eat or drink while on the phone
When talking on the phone with a potential employer or for other business, do not put them on hold
while you answer another phone call
Have a notepad and writing utensil near by for taking notes
Eliminate background noise – pets, TV, music, bathroom noises, children, and traffic
Warn housemates of anticipated calls, to act appropriately (keeping the noise down) during phone
interviews, or when taking messages
Your answering machine or voice mail message should be brief, polite and professional
Return calls promptly (within 24 hours)
When leaving a message, speak slowly and clearly (articulate), provide your first and last name (spell
last name), give your phone number including area code, purpose of call or an identifier, repeat name
at end

Email & Web Netiquette (interNet Etiquette)
Email is not an ―etiquette-free‖ zone nor is it instant messaging! It is a professional form of
communication and should follow good writing guidelines
Proofread for spelling and grammar. Don’t rely solely on spell check!
Avoid conflict & email arguments. Many things can be misconstrued via email
Online communication is not a replacement for verbal/personal contact
AVOID USING ALL CAPS (or all lower-case) and don’t overuse ―!‖
Give people a chance to read & respond
Keep your messages short and concise
Think before you send (messages are sent immediately). Sometimes saving your message as a draft
and rereading it later can be extremely beneficial
Everything you write online is a reflection of your professionalism: you will be judged by the quality of
your writing whether it is an email, online profile, blog entry, or comments on a Web site
Dining Etiquette
80% of second interviews involve a meal
Long before you enter the restaurant, make sure you turn off your cell phone or beeper
Practice proper posture; sit up straight with your arms close to your body
When you are not eating, keep your hands on your lap or resting on the table (with wrists on the edge
of the table). Elbows on the table are acceptable only between courses.
Take responsibility for keeping up the conversation but stay away from controversial subjects, such as
politics, religion, sexual matters, etc
Order something easy to eat. Stay away from spaghetti, peas, expensive items and anything that
sounds like a large quantity of food.
Do not order alcoholic beverages, even if the interviewer does
Ask for suggestions from others at the table
Wait to eat until everyone has been served
When eating a roll or bread, put a pat of butter on your plate, break small pieces of bread, and butter
each piece as you go
Don’t salt your food before you taste it
Only reach for items that are in front of you. Politely ask others to pass items out of reach.
Bring food to your mouth—not your head to the plate
Eat at the same pace as everyone else
Place your napkin on chair seat if excusing yourself for any reason
Take small bites at a time and never chew with your mouth open or talk with your mouth full. If asked a
question while you are eating, finish chewing, swallow, then speak
Throughout the meal, be sure to say "please" and "thank you." Your polite attitude will foster an overall
positive impression.
Eat your entire meal if possible. Don’t ask for a doggie bag
Indicate that you are finished with your meal by placing the knife and fork, on your plate, at the 4 o'clock
position. Be sure to place the napkin on the right-hand side of your table setting.
When dining as part of a job interview, generally the interviewer pays

Good time back hoping this we came to an end of this year which for me was quite disappointing because i had to lose my job and instead of joining a new one i decided to utilize this time in preparation but it was not so easy lot of criticism i had to face. Many people started making distance from me and all disconnected from me and many suggested me to do some job but my instinct was not allowing me to do at least the time which i was giving to my studies will definitely yield fruit ful result but nothing so happen and An year came to an end and i am just left with one result of RRB office assistant and Clerk result might out in January first week. I am quite nervous regarding the result as my whole career has dependent on this result. Though the thing are some time favor to me and some time not but i would like to thanks my parents blessing and almighty god who gave strength and patience for this major step of my life which will decide where is should move.

good night guys

like every year this year we are desperately waiting for the diwali celebration which is considered the festival of joy and lighting. one week before the diwali we get indulge in arrangement and cleanness of our houses. Though we abandon so many things behind us but we keep and retained our culture and its celebration as same as earlier. we have plentiful reason to celebrate the festival whenever it comes wheather it is diwali, holi, navratri, christmas, eid, republic day and independence day. but most importantly we never take pain to think about the significance and facts behind these festival. if we go out to ask the people many of them don't know about their indian culture which is really and matter of great concern and highly shamful that we talk about cricket, films, science and technology, economy etc but we generally not know much about our culture. we keep on accusing one another for dismissal and lack of knowledge. we can't stand proudly if we don't knnow about our culture, our achievement, sacrifices and all monument in account of our laziness and unsound knowledge zeal and enthusiasm. we are always acquisitive of physical aminites for whole life but we never get satisfy and stop to control our enticement something instead of being kind and humble we turn adhesive which only take us to the world of darkness. we should always think about the spiritual ambiance around us so that we feel the vibes of god presence around us and amalgamate the reality and spirituality together. it has been unanimously said by the people that spiritual enlightenment is the pure and genuine way for being happy and make others happy. we should keep an affable and reconciliation in our behavior. we should not think to despise someone for our well being but we should go out of our way to help others in need. Needless to say, humanity is the prime and prior commitment that one should have it and make sure that you involve others in that way you have chosen fo perfect enlightenment in life. even in the tiresome and appalled situation and we will find that we would helm by the god who takes our journey forward.

so what i want to say that celebrate festival with joy and happiness but also not to forget to make others happy by fulfilling their needs.

thanking you

5 oct exam exam journey experience

well the day ended on a good not but quite weird situation came across
me. yesterday i appeared for IBPS RRB banking exam and I had centre
Shankarcharya raipur and i had two way to reach the centre. The main way
is Main HIGHWAY road which believes to be risky and another one is old
dhamtari road. As it was raining heavily i was enforced to go by bus
but at last moment i change my mood and decided to go by Activa. Though i
was aware of the risk associated with the way i chosen to go is purana
dhamtari road. i thought lets move on that way after driving few miles i
can't explain how bad experience it was. The whole road from arjuni to
bakhara and from bhakara to few kilometer roads were completely
devastated and only debris of rain water flowing over the road which
hinders my driving speed of Activa and put break on my way. It was too
terrible seeing and driving in that turmoil road which not only took
long hour to covers least distance and wastage of fuel. whole body was
trembling with the hiccups of road condition and Activa shivering with
the coexistent jerk and dis-balance. facing lot of trouble i finally
reached my center engulfed with so many aspirants who reached one hour
before me and it seems that everyone were as excited as me for giving
exam. I release my body from raincoat and my jeans was completely turns
wet. Nevertheless i sat in the examination hall in the same condition. I
was little worry about my performance. question part GA was 50% easy
and 50% medium and tough and rest are equivalent. overall paper ended
with good note.

Then after that i move on to return my home. I make my mind to go by
another route. which is by national highway . I turn myActiva through
that route it took 12 km to reach Abhanpur. on my way after reaching few
km ahead from abhhanpur suddenly my activa stops. Tried might hard to
start my activa but all failed. i ring subhash for help and he suggested
me to ask someone near to me on my way for any information regarding
the address of shop for repairing of bike. After thinking few minutes i
decided that my only way to get rid of that situation is to pray to
god. I started reciting hanuman chalisa and by the grace hanumanji my
activa started and then i move on from there and reached my home safely
but i was quite anxious for my mother who is equally concern form me.

That's all about yesterday experience.

with rising doubts about india's current economic health there is renewed speculation about fresh round of financial sector reforms. one of the key areas is the issue of foreign direct investment in multi brand retail. while it is clear that the government is keen to implement this to spur investment, opposition parties and several chief ministers continue to oppose this on fears that this will have an adverse impact on shopkeeper and kiran stores. if the government wants to implement this measures then it must address these fears.

As far as other countries are concerned Thailand and Malaysia has 100% in multi brand retail and researcher shows that introduction of western organized retail format has given traditional retailers and impetus to spruce up their business model to become more competitive. In addition regulation in Thailand have succeeded in imposing modern ideas of hygiene and convenience among fresh food stall owners.

In Malaysia, FDI in retailing came with caveats like limited store opening hours in urban areas and limiting the number of hypermarket in urban areas. This resulted in investors being encouraged more towards investment opportunities in smaller urban areas.

The Indian government needs to draw from the positive examples of Thailand and Malaysia and other developed markets to alleviate the fears surrounding foreign investment in retail development. The lesson from these emerging markets suggest that in India too successful implementation of retailing will require further regulatory intervention at local and stare levels. In other words regulators needs not to be caught between the conflicting goals of promoting trade competitiveness and economic efficiency on the one hand and defending the interest of small shopkeeper and kirana stores on the other.

Another lesson from the experience of other emerging market is that retail development has occurred in multifarious ways in these countries. In Thailand transformative regulation as the name suggest have dramatically transformed the economy and have been instrumental in making it a shopping destination. In Malaysia FDI in retail has been more restrictive while trying to balance retail growth equitably across the urban and semi urban regions. The Indian government should convince states that they too can take different approaches to FDI entry- retailing as an agent of transformation of the state economy like in thailand or an agent of restrictive yet balanced economic development like in Malaysia.

The
diplomacy is the theory and practice of using fact and wisdom in the conduct of
foreign affairs. It is enmeshed in social, political and economic development
of its time It does not operate in the vacuum. As the foreign policy of the
country is shaped by its domestic as well as international environment, so its
shapes and Practice of diplomacy. Diplomacy is the tool of achieving goal of foreign
policy. Public diplomacy is no exception
to this. Though some form of public diplomacy and use of soft power in realizing
the objective of the states in foreign affairs have always been there for long
time, the use of this tools has become more pronounced in the era of mass politics
and globalization, encouraged and supported by the spread of new forms of means
of modern communication.

In
the last two decades, the global as well as domestic environment of conducting foreign
policy and diplomacy has considerably changed. The disintegration of soviet
union, the end of cold war, the emergence of globalised economy, resting on the
ideology of neo liberalism have brought about new global condition.

The
international environment has also undergone drastic changes not visualized even
by keen observers of global affairs. The globalization and free market economy
are the mantra of global economy. The role of economic diplomacy in the foreign
affair has become challenging in search of new areas of trade, investment and economic
partnership. There are nations, which
continue to have a political differences but have improved trade and economic
ties, which were not visible earlier. The private sector has been involved in a
big way by the government throughout the world to promote global economic
prospects. Along with the private sector have become the strategies of market
promotion earlier unthinkable for the government. Now the world has become more
integrated and independent in comparison to what used to be before the process
of globalization. In brief the democratization of foreign policy space and need
of greater economic gain and competitiveness in the world have largely impacted
upon the practice of diplomacy.

The
term public diplomacy was coined in 1965 by former US Diplomat Edmund Gullion.
For all practical purpose public diplomacy refers to the deployment of various
means to enlist the support of people in foreign countries for the polices and
programme of a country. Public diplomacy deals with the influence of public
attitude on the formation and execution of foreign policies. It encompasses the
dimension of international relation beyond the traditional diplomacy. The cultivation
of public opinion by government in other countries the interaction of private
group in one country with another and the process of international
communication. This definition takes the broad view of public opinion on both
formation as well as execution of foreign policies. In other words scope of public diplomacy deals with both the

Success is 99% perspiration and 1% inspiration said by the all time great scientist Thomas Edison.True very true is this . he uttered this philosophical truth after all his previous 14 efforts resulted in fiasco before he invented the filament bulb. Alas the tendency of human beings is that they chant success success without essaying much efforts. They forget a simple fact there is no story ever scripted with sweet note before burning the midnight oil whenever this peers lie on the bed.

success and struggle go in lock step and can't exist without co-existence. we need to struggle galore with fisherman patience who all day long sits to angle a fish. Ask lance Armstrong how much pain he has to take after being diagnosed with cancer to become the world top cyclist. Put the same question before sachin, Brain, Ricky how many lunches they have skipped or just to have it before climbing up the radar of good show and earning fame and popularity. Bill gates once addressing a gathering in Seattle Washington said at the time of inventing Microsoft he could not let his two eyebrows together for more than 4 hours stretch at least 6 months.

so, these mesmerizing tales go abound to show there is at all no short cut to the path of glory. Either work hard or hardly do it. This is the mantra that should be flag off any journey. The flag of victory can only flutter when we launch our full fledged efforts not the piece of metal effort occasionally thats the sheer wastage of valuable time and energy. what we need is that one initial joy and victory and then like whetting tiger getting the taste of human blood we will be on the lookout for another milestone of triumph. we never be all ears to the stories that have failed to evoke response but one having mixture of sweetness and bitterness and most exciting the story the more fascinating the tale is.
In Indian culture vairaagyam was always given ultimate importance. But careful, there is a very thin line that separates vairaagyam and laziness. In vairaagyam all karma is done but without expecting anything in return, without being involved in the materialistic aspects of karma. Bhagiratha, with his unparalleled effort to bring Ganga to earth, showed us how much effort a man can put in and as a result what wonders can be done.

On knowing that his ancestors (60000 Sagara Kumaras) will reach swarga only if the pure waters of Ganga flow through their ashes, from his mother, Bhagiratha immediately leaves to Himalayas to do tapas for Lord Brahma:

After purifying himself in a pushkarini, it starts tapas with extra-ordinary concentration.
Starts with padmaasana and in winter stood in the freezing waters of the lake with water up to chest!
In Summer stands in the middle of burning pancha-agnis (four agnis + sun) and steadily stared at the sun with eyes wide open (all the while concentrating on Brahma deva)!!
During the first few days, he had food only once a day. Later it was once in a few days. Then it became once in a month. After that, he just used to drink a little water and continue his ‘Tapas’. Finally the air was his only food!!!
    1000 years passed….!!!!

Brahma, the creator of the worlds, on the requests of Gods to save them from the tremendous tapaagni of Bhagiratha, appears before him and blesses him with children and Ganga. However, Brahma deva suggests that none except Parama Shiva can take the force when Ganga falls onto earth, and if not with that force earth will be washed away…

Men are of three kinds:

There are cowards, who do not begin their work at all, afraid that some trouble may arise midway.
Those who begin but later give up the task, afraid of the difficulties that arise.
Brave people who belong to a third group. They continue to work in spite of even an army of difficulties, and finally achieve the goal.

Bhagiratha belonged to this third category of brave men. He again began a severe ‘Tapas’ to please Lord Ishwara. With folded hands, and standing on one leg, he meditated on Lord iswara with the deepest concentration. So a whole year passed.

Pleased with Bhagiratha’s devotion Lord ishwara takes the immense force of Ganga and controls her in his jataajutam. He completely stops her from flowing to teach her a lesson (she was a mischievous girl, proud of her strength!), but for Bhagiratha it was another difficulty… But he again with tapas pleases Lord Shiva to release Ganga down to earth. Ganga followed Bhagiratha shyly and slowly, like his daughter (Bhaagirathi).

But she grew a little mischievous, though Shiva taught her a lesson once, when near Jahnu maharshi’s ashram. She wandered all over the Ashrama like a small girl and the entire place was filled with water. Disturbed from tapas by it, Jahnu maharshi in a single gulp swallows her entirely. And suddenly difficulties again for Bhagiratha. But it is not the first time for him, so immediately pleases Jahnu maharshi (Jaahnavi comes out of Jahnu maharshi’s ear) and finally sends his ancestors to higher worlds…

The coming of the Muslim in India resulted in addition of some more society. The Hindus constituted majority of the Indian society. with the arrival of Muslim lead to the formation of new subdivision among them.
As a result of the impact of islam, the caste system among the Hindus became very rigid.. The impact of islam on Hindu society may be discussed as:

1. caste system
2. Purdah system
3. Child Marriage
4. Infanticide
5. Sati system
6. Jauhar system
7. Devadasis system
8. Divorce
9. Widow Remarriage
The new islamic or muslim culture was introduced in india by the Arabs. The expansion and propogation of is lamic culture was attempted by the means of peace as well as force. The former was followed by the arabs traders and muslim saints or dervishes. The later was adopted by Arab Turkish, Muslim and Mugual Traders. You'll be pleased that you put in the time and effort, for you will be pleased with results. Also, November 28 brings a beneficial lunar eclipse in compatible Gemini, and may bring a turning point within a relationship with someone based far from your base, or in regard to a goal to achieve an advanced educational degree. If you need to defend your thesis this week, you'll be in luck. Matters involving the courts, or involving citizenship, immigration, green card and visa, can also be resolved now, and likely make you quite happy.
Sometime it happens that everything doesn't go all well with us. I realize that what i expect is not necessary that it always right. we may go wrong but expectation is something which keep me alive either with some desire or some thirst. I always found myself engulfed in such situation where my mind stops working and i would not think of consequences.Let me tell you in detail. You know now a days my life is going very tight which i couldn't expected. After two long month i received my salary but when i saw the salary i was completely frustrated they deducted the whole 10000 rs as advance which i had taken in july. In total i should had got 6000rs more which i didn't. That\make me frustrated all the way. I feel very embarrassed and desperate couldn't find the exact way of outcome. Now one thing i have understood In private school, there are people who used to exploit the new joinee and create burden for him/her.I know everything is perishable but one needs to understand the rights on oneself which no one can take aways from us.

Hey friends, I am sure you must not have read this kind of stuff ever. Today I am going to tell you very rare, beautiful and religious facts about the resemblance between Lord Krishna andJesus Christ. This has been studied hard by religious historians for many centuries and these people find out why the stories about Lord Krishna and Jesus Christ are very much identical. These findings are truly very surprising. Lets check them out:

Morever, the Hindus can prove that Jesus was the son of God, but we have to accept this as a matter of faith only. Even so, there is no lack of Christian sects wanting the Hindus to "convert" to their way of thinking although we must credit the Hindus with the honor of proving to us thatJesus is the son of God. But the Hindus don't need to convert to the spiritual knowledge they bequeathed to us. They were "converted" thousands of years before our Jesus was born. Most frequently, she is associated with Brahma. Her connection with him dates earlier than to any other God. She is portrayed mostly as his wife and occasionally as his daughter. When Vishnu's popularity in India increased, myths relatingSaraswati to him appeared. (Varta=Dwelling.)Brahmavarta was the site of the Kuruksetra War between the Kurus and Pandavas, in whichLord Krishna distinguished himself. An ancient and holy river, now dried up, the Sarasvati, once flowed through Brahmavarta. But I'm certain that they went to Jerusalem. The word Jerusalemis derived from Sanskrit: Yadu-Ishalayam, meaning "The Holy Rock of the Yadu Tribe." Lord Krishna was a Yadu. The Moslems still revere this huge rock under the Dome of the Rock onJerusalem Temple Mount.
Until now, I have been wondering why Krishna's name did not appear in Jerusalem after his arrival there. Yet, the name of the king of Jerusalem, Melchizedek, the mentor of Abraham, did. I once thought that Melchizedek was the name of a certain person. I made this mistake by thinking that a prince and a son of a Kassite king, Melik-Sadaksina, was a supernaturally endowed prince, magician and spiritual giant. I thought he had accompanied Krishna, Abraham, and Sarah to the Middle East. Later on, I came to realize that the Sanskrit word Sadhakaapplies to anyone who is an adept, a magician, one possessed of supernatural powers gained by worshipping a deity or by uttering magical chants.
I have additionally shown in this article that the New Testament words for Jesus all refer to Lord Krishna and his holy names. The early Christians were convinced that Melchizedek was just a prior incarnation of Jesus Christ, The remains of the Nag Hammadi manuscript entitledMelchizedek seem to confirm this. Melchizedek, king of Jerusalem and mentor of his sonAbraham, was none other than ancient India's God Krishna. The early Christians thought thatJesus was a reincarnation of Krishna, for who else had the name Yesu Kristna, Isa, Krishna, etc.?
The word "Catholic" itself derives from the Sanskrit Ketu-Loka, meaning "Universal Leader." But how can a religion be "universal" if it is exclusive, locking out nations like India who not only gave Catholics their own bible, but even the Christ they worship? I have shown how nearly parallel our bible and the Hindu holy books concur in almost every way-linguistically, culturally, spiritually, etc. Even the incestuous relationship between Brahma and Sarasvati squares with that of Abraham and Sarah. India more than qualifies to be the real holy land of all mankind. The main differences between Christians and Hindus arise from the fact that the Hindu form ofChristianity stayed behind in India, and that the western Christianity we know was exported abroad. Naturally, geographical separation has caused some variations in the two similar teachings, as well as culturally. Additionally, we have to keep in mind that for many hundreds of years, these stories were passed down orally, from father to son. Changes, embellishments, and varying opinions crept through the woodwork.

I have amply demonstrated that all of us, no matter what our respective religions and nationalities, are grandchildren of India, Will this knowledge help keep us from tearing ourselves and the world apart?

Today as usual started my day with few yoga and exercise just to warm up myself then sat on the computer and finished the left work and went to school by 8 am. There was always been a hidden pressure inside every teacher before entering into the class. some time all your plan called off abruptly due to unnecessary disturbance in the class.
