Apex Student Ministry Canceled (6/25)

Apex Student Ministry will not meet on Wednesday, 6/25.

Chris and Summer Bryant, LifePoint's student ministry leaders, delivered daughter Savannah Sheree on Tuesday night, 6/24, around 9:00 PM. Savannah was 3 lbs. 13 oz. and 16 in. long. She is healthy but will be in NICU at Cox South for a bit before coming home. Father and mother are doing well, too.

Least of These food pantry of Christian County is a LifePoint Church Project partner. July is the month designated to serve the hungry of this region by filling the pantry. As a Servant Project partner, Least of These is one way that LifePoint can serve people who are hungry and in need of food. Each week during the month of July we will have baskets at the front of the Worship Room. We ask you to bring food, goods, and items, as listed below, and place them in the baskets on Sunday as an act of worship. We will deliver them on Monday mornings to Least of These. Our goal is to deliver a ton of food and goods to the pantry. Least of These needs

pancake mix and syrup
macaroni and cheese
rice
dry beans
hamburger helper
canned soups
canned tuna
chili and stews
saltine crackers
tomato sauce
spaghetti sauce
pasta
peanut butter

Church Planting Quarterly (7/22)

Each quarter LifePoint hosts a training event for church planters, pastors, and leaders focused on encouraging and equipping for more effective leadership in the church and fulfilling the mission of the gospel. This quarterly session will focus on the biblical mandate to serve, testimonies of how serving transforms a church to transform a city, how to effectively organize people to serve both within the church and together as the church in the city, and a roundtable discussion to effective methodologies that are being used. LifePoint volunteers are needed to help facilitate the noon meal, and we would love to have you join us for the session.

On Saturday, 21 June, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, A team from LPC will be at the Galloway Creek portion of the Ozark Greenways trail system providing water and free basic bike tune-ups to all passers by on a first-come, first-served basis. Bring your bike by for some TLC or stop by and offer encouragement to those serving. This is a weather-dependent event, so if its rainy look for it to be rescheduled.

On Sunday, 13 July, LifePoint needs able-bodied souls to give blood during our Community Blood Center of the Ozarks blood drive from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM. To give, you must be at least 16 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds, and meet other current medical requirements. Our goal is twenty pints of blood, so sign up in the hallway to reserve your spot.

Impel Summer Campout (6/27)

Location Lake of the Ozarks

Impel students completing fifth and sixth grade are invited to an end-of-the-year campout at Lake of the Ozarks near Camdenton, MO, on Friday, June 27, through Saturday, June 28. Activities will include hiking, swimming, playing games, and maybe a guided cave tour.

We will meet at LPC on Friday, June 27, at 3:00 PM and return to LPC at 6:00 PM on Saturday. The cost of the weekend is $10/preteen and covers the weekend's food and lodging. Students should bring $4 cash (up to age 12; $6 over age 12) for the cave tour. We will decide as a group whether to take the tour.

Please sign up in the Impel classroom and tell us whether you have your own sleeping bag. Any parents willing to donate a tent or sleeping bag for the weekend should contact Alicia Gunn at 417-459-2707.
