Pull-up Banners

After some crazy courier antics where the items were delivered, then weren’t delivered, then were delivered somewhere else before actually being delivered, these new pull-up banners have finally arrived. Though we had a delay in receiving them, they look absolutely superb. Now we need to get them to the client and hope they agree.

Snow – timelapse video

This is a short time lapse clip of the snow that covered Guernsey on 11th and 12th March 2013. We took an image from our Snow Cam every few seconds and put them together into this. The camera was overlooking North Beach in St Peter Port. The shaking motion was caused by the wind bending the window panes. Watch it full screen and you can see as the drifts pass through.

Snow Access Today (Mar 12th 2013)

Update: We are back in the office today so it is business as normal. (13th March 2013)

Due to the light dusting of snow Guernsey has received over the past day, the Enrapture office will not be opening up today. It is business as usual for us though so we will be answering emails and accessing the voicemail system regularly. If you were due to come in for a meeting today, you should already have been notified. If anything changes, we will keep the website up to date and get in contact with you directly.

Enjoy the snow everyone and be safe

My dear old Mum… watch out for the wheel cover

It’s always appreciated when family want to help out with your business, it is their business too I guess but, in general, family support is something that keeps us going. It’s especially great when your Mum is quite happy to advertise your brand on the back of their brand new Land Rover Defender. We supplied a wheel cover with some basic details and it looks great.

Power Searching With Google

Google have plenty of resources on their sites about effective searching, even down to guides for teachers. As part of the Inside Search series, they have produced an online course titled “Power Searching with Google” which can be found on the descriptive domain… www.powersearchingwithgoogle.com. It is a collection of slides and videos that cover many aspects of the Google search experience from a very basic level up to more advanced topics. Their own description states…

For a while, they actually had some tests you could take to see how well you were learning. For a bit of fun, I dived in and had a go at them, with a bit of common sense and probably too much time on the web, I think I did OK.

Mid-class assessment score: 100%
Post-class assessment score: 100%

As a bonus, they even sent me a certificate…

You can print out the attached certificate and hang it on your wall. We hope you enjoyed the class!

Our new site… finally!

After a considerable wait, many great starts and quite a number of stops, Enrapture has finally launched it’s new website! This new design is much faster, more modern, easier for us to update and, being responsive, should work well across most devices.

We’ve been wanting to get this live for a number of months now as the old site was getting really out of date. We were reluctant to update it when we knew this site would be launched soon. Without wanting to spend too long talking about our latest achievement, here are some highlights.

Parallax animation on homepage. Highlights our portfolio and is created entirely using Javascript and good old fashioned images. No flash here.
Responsive design. With a majority of web traffic expected to come from mobile devices, we’ve taken steps to ensure that mobile users can enjoy our site along with the desktop users.
Filterable portfolio. If you click on the categories in the portfolio, you will see that we’ve added a slick animation to filter the results down.
Fast. We’ve tweaked and adjusted everything to get a YSlow! score of 100 and graded A. There is more work to do on this but we’re just not happy with the current solutions.

We certainly hope you like what we’ve done with place. If you find something that doesn’t look quite right, we’d really appreciate it if you’d let us know… thanks.

Flexi Brochure update progressing

It is that time of year again for Flexi Solutions. Brochure update!

We are just doing the final checks and a colour proof will be done soon to enable final approval. Once signed off it will be go to print.

New product introductions are the driving reason behind the 2013 brochure update. The changes also involve a refresh for the front and back covers and the addition of new products. The brochure complements the website and is distributed throughout Guernsey.

Adwords Campaign- double up

We have been running an Adwords campaign for a client and the website traffic has doubled in the second active month.

Monitoring and evaluating all the metrics helps to target the correct group of prospective customers and increases the chances of converting clicks to sales. With continual adaption to activity and by watching keyword trends we can fine tune the effectiveness of the campaign.

Refreshing the site and running campaigns assists to draw prospects to the site. We will continue to monitor the effectiveness of the ads and adapt to maximise the potential audience.
