From Low Self-Esteem Osang to an X Factor Israel Winner

I've been following Osang on X Factor since her Audition. During that time, TV and Radio stations in the Philippines aren't talking about her, not a single station. Her audition piece "This is My Life" by Shirley Bassey gave a big surprise to the judges and the audience. Since then, I have been following Osang on her FB fanpage and in twitter. I also made sure that I am updated on every episodes on the X Factor Israel specially when Rose Fostanes now known as 'Osang' performs on stage.

Her 'My Way' performance in the finals was awesome, but my favorite of all her performances on the X Factor Israel is her performance on the 2nd round of the X Factor Israel. It is where all the contestants who passed in the audition were once again performed on stage for judging.

The winning and final moment for Rose Fostanes in X Factor Israel with her version of Frank Sinatra's My Way with an orchestra as her backup, got a standing ovation from the judges. Placing second was Eden Ben Zaken (Girls category), and third was Ori Shakiv (Boys category). At the final showdown, she sang "My Way" by Frank Sinatra, and Alicia Keys' "If I Ain't Got You" in a duet with her mentor Shiri Maimon.

She told Reuters in an interview that at first she thought Israelis won't vote for her on the show, fearing the stereotype of Filipinas working as maids and caregivers would turn them off.

But look at her now! She did it as she did her way to the X Factor Israel!

Marian Rivera ay gaganap sa dating role na pinagbidahan ni Diamond Star Maricel Soriano sa remake movie ng "Super Inday and the Magic Bebe". I am not a fanatic nor against Marian Rivera but I think by accepting this role will make the people forget her being a Darna. I mean, for me she didn't make it big being a Darna and I hope she will make it big this time with Super Inday. Baka mas makikilala pa siya dito compare sa role niya bilang Darna an djust forget being a Darna and let Angel Locsin grasp the authority of the real Darna for this generation.

This movie will be an official entry of Regal Films to the MMFF 2010 and will be starred by some Kapuso and Kapamilya stars.

Toni Rose Gayda's Son, James Edward Lim Dead

Toni Rose Gayda's 25 year-old son James Edward Lim died after he accidentally fell from the 4th floor of the comdominium building along Wack-wack Road in Mandaluyong City.

Accordingly, James Lim fell while smoking at the verandah of the condominium unit.

Di na nga pinahaba ni Ruffa Gutierrez and issue and she accepts Kris Aquino's apology bago pa man maglabasan ng anong issue.

Sa interview sinabi ni Ruffa na “I know that we love each other and I know that we’ve been friends for a long, long time. Medyo nasaktan lang ako noon kasi doon sa mga parinig niya na, ‘Naku, you know mahal na mahal ako ng mga tiga-Laoag. Seventy percent ng mga tao nakikita ako dito (The Buzz).’ Parang pinapalabas niya na walang manonood sa akin sa TV5,”

Dagdag pa niya, “I really wanted to go back on-air but I couldn’t stop crying. So, natanggal na ang pilik-mata ko, nag-smear na ang lining ko and I admit I was emotional,” (Gusto kong makita ang look mo Ruffa tulad sa diniscribe mo sa iyong sarili. Heheheh…)

Sinabi pa ni Ruffa na “Hindi ako nag-walkout. Ewan ko ba kung bakit sinabing nag-walkout. Mga intrigero kayo. Masama bang umiyak sa dressing room,” she said. “Kung akala ng mga tao OA (overacting), ganoon talaga ang emotion ko noong time na ‘yon. Wala akong magagawa. Hindi ko talaga sinasadya ‘yon.”
Sabi niya she appreciated and accepted Aquino’s public apology. “Ako naman, I’m a very fun-loving individual and kaibigan ko din naman si Kris. And I have the highest respect for her.”

Tungkol naman sa response ng ina ni Ruffa to Kris's apology, “Sinabi lang niya, ‘Naku day, tanggapin mo na ang apology ni Kris, day. Kasi nakita ko naman nagpa-kumbaba na siya. Sige, okay na yan, day.’ Alam mo naman ang mommy ko, para siyang volcano.” Sabi ni Ruffa.

Dagdag pa niya, let’s “move on with dignity and honor. Wala ng Team Ruffa, Team Kris. Team friendship na lang, di ba?”

Ruffa Gutierrez nag walk out sa The Buzz dahil binabastos ni Kris Aquino. I don't know what really is the deep truth about Ruffa and Kris but I cannot see anything wrong sa sinasabi ni Kris, or maybe may mga alitan or mga sinabi si Kris na nangyari behind the camera kaya ganun nalang ang reaction ni Ruffa. But with Ruffa G. sana naman di niya ginawa ang mag walk-out while they are still on the show. Di pa tapos ang show and trabaho nya yun bilang artista/host. Kaya lang ang bungangerang nanay ay hindi pwedeng hindi siya ang masusunod kaya ayun goodbye agad ang Ruffa kahit di pa tapos trabaho niya.

Sa bagay naman, dati pa naman yan si Kris nambabara kay Ruffa sa The Buzz kaya dapat lang na malaman ni Kris na sumusobra na siya. Feeling kasi nitong si Kris reyna na siya ng Dos kaya kung umasta parang may-ari ng network. Kris naman talaga ay taklesa to the level na natatapakan na niya ang kausap niya. Kahit dati pa naman nang namulat ako sa Philippine Showbiz Kris is the most PLASTIC actress for me.

Kaya ayun bumwelta ang nanay ni Ruffa G. sa Showbiz Central ang show sa GMA with the same time slot ng The Buzz.

I missed this episode last Saturday, February 27, 2010. But Pilipinas Got Talent fans are always there to upload some clips of the episodes and here's a rendition of Faithfully by Jovit Baldivino, a 16-year old boy.

Isa sa reason bakit manonood ako lagi ng Showtime this week ay dahil ang pinakamagandang Actress/Celebrity/recording Artist sa Philippines na si Iya Villania ay isa sa mga Judges ng Showtime. This beautiful lady was born in Camperdown, New South Wales, Australia. No wonder she is beautiful because she's a mix race Filipino-Australian. She can be seen often on ASAP XV, and her being a VJ for MYX music channel, I can always enjoy watching music videos.

So, I hope magtagal siya as Hurado in Showtime because I will definitely keep on watching the show with her as judge.

Ian Batherson Eliminated at Starstruck 5

Ian Batherson from Germany has been eliminated at the Starstruck 5 due to Factor 1 rule that whoever has been consecutively on the bottom 3 for the third time will be automatically eliminated.

His last performance at the competition was John Mayer's "No Such Thing". He was singing while strumming his guitar but the judges didn't like it so much and gave him the lowest average score. Di nadala sa pa cute2x ang mga judges? heheheh...

Bongga si Efren Peñaflorida, niligawan talaga si Angel Locsin. Pumunta sa bahay at kinausap muna ang tatay ni Angel.

Sabi ni Efren na matagal na daw niyang crush si Angel at ngayon na medyo may status na si Efren bilang celebrity abot kamay na niya si Angel. Pero nilinaw din ni Efren na hindi siya ang dahilan nga break-up ni Angel ang Luis noon dahil recently lang sila nag met in person ni Angel, yun ay yung time na nagkasabay silang sumakay sa eroplano papuntang America. GMA-7 Kapuso Network Fans Will Vote Off Melissa

Now that PBB is changing the voting system from vote for your favourite to vote to evict, do you think this will be the best option of PBB management or ABS-CBN management has? I mean the control on who will stay at the competition is in the hands of the viewer and when you say viewer that includes everyone including those from other networks.

Do you think that this will be the chance for the other network like the all-time rival of ABS-CBN Kapamilya network – the GMA-7 Kapuso Network to ruin the show by voting the favourite housemates of the PBB fans? Like voting off Melissa and that will kill the Melissa and Jason Love team.

That is possible because there is a rumor around the net that Kapuso fans will all vote Melissa for her to be evicted and make PBB a boring show! Leaving the PBB house with boring housemates and PBB will be good as dead show.

Anyway, I think Kapamilya and PBB management has long been planning for this and they have prepared for this. We will see if that rumour over the internet is really true if the situation will turn out to be what has been buzzing around.

Gina Alajar Demands a public apology from The Buzz for showing her Facebook profile on TV. And here’s what was she said on Showbiz Central of course sa GMA-7 show:

"Iyong privacy ko was invaded," Gina said. "And to think wala akong ibang social networking except Facebook. Unang-unang sign-up ko sa Facebook, ang una kong pinag-aralan ay iyong privacy settings. Kasi ayoko talaga na kung sino-sinong nag-a-add sa akin hindi ko kakilala. Ayoko iyong hindi ako libre sa ginagawa ko. Ayoko din na parang may stalker ako na susundan lahat ng ginagawa ko. Kaya wala akong Twitter, e. So anyway, pag-sign up ko sa Facebook, e, nalaman ko lahat 'yan at ako pa nagtuturo sa kaibigan ko kung papaano magkaroon ng privacy settings.

"Now, I want to say na wala akong kaibigan—wala sa The Buzz ni isa sa kanila na nasa friend list ko. I am not much of a Tagalog Drama movie fanatic, maybe because of the usual or common story of most Tagalog movies. There are no much twists of the stories and that I don't think is good to watch and spend money for tickets on theater. We can watch it on local TV later on anyway, that is my mentality of most Tagalog movies. I would rather spend money for movie tickets on Tagalog comedies, because I just love to laugh with friends in the movie house rather than watching it alone.

But when I saw this "Mano Po 6" trailer, I felt excited to watch it on the big screen. The story is still very common, just like the previous movie of Vilma Santos’ “Anak” under Star Cinema. Though the story is just the same "Babangon ako't Dudurogin Kita" style of drama, but the casts here is powerful, for me. I mean, Sharon Cuneta is a great drama actress and I still love her acting and she is fantastic on this movie. With Zsa-zsa Padilla as the kontra-bida in this movie, that’s something I would love to check out because that interests me to watch her playing Sharon’s villain. Kris Aquino is just a character part of this movie but still is a good addition because it connects from the previous movies of the Mano Po movies.

Anyway, just watch the trailer and maybe it will also convince you to patronize it.

PBB Housemate Steve Jumalon A.K.A "Tibo" Target Shooter of CDO: The Dad of Steel ng Cagayan De Oro. "Superman yata ito"

He is a familiar face here in the City... there were few times we were on the same jeepney going to the City proper of Cagayan.

Anyway, I am seeing a bright future in Show business on this housemate. I just hope he will stay longer at the PBB house for more exposure and hopefully will bring pride to the City of Golden Friendship.
