In the good old world of capitalism the leaders of the free world charge a hefty tax to encourage the youth; what is this world we living in coming to people.

The Washington Post used a Freedom of Information Act request to get an inside look at just what it takes to get Hillary Clinton to come speak at your university. First of all, there’s the matter of cash: a cool $300,000, which is apparently the “special university rate.”

That is the answer UCLA received when it asked whether the public university could get some sort of discount. Undeterred by the price tag, the university moved forward with booking the former secretary of state.

Yet the cash was hardly all the university had to put forward as booking the presidential hopeful involved a string of requests that kept organizers busy until she delivered he Luskin Lecture for Thought Leadership speech on March 5, 2014.

Wilson told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch he was stepping down out of his “own free will” after the police department told him it had received threats of violence if he remained an employee.

“I’m not willing to let someone else get hurt because of me,” said Wilson, who had been with the department for six years.

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer inked a new $50 million ($25 million guaranteed) three extension to remain with the team. Jason LaCanfora of CBS Sports reports Palmer could have entered free agency at the end of this NFL season and judging by check the cut they definitely didn’t want that to happen.  after the season, which was apparently something the Cardinals didn’t want to risk.

Mercedes is bringing back the Maybach but it will be in the form of a long-wheelbase edition of the S-Class. The car will make its debut at the 2015 Los Angeles Motor Show and based on the informations released it will be dubbed the 2015 Mercedes-Maybach S600.

The rear section and the C-pillar have been completely reworked and thanks to the extra length, the Mercedes-Maybach S600 will feature reclining rear seats as well as a refined entertainment system. Rest of the details is yet to come out but the Mercedes-Maybach is expected to be powered by the twin-turbo V-12 producing 523 hp and 612 pounds-feet of torque found in the current Mercedes-Benz S600. There is also a possibility of the luxury limo to be offered with a version of the twin-turbo V-12 currently found in the S65 AMG that produces 621 hp and 738 pounds-feet of torque, though it is not clear at this time whether all versions of the upcoming sedan will receive 4Matic all-wheel drive. The entry-level model is expected to cost approximately $200,000 and it could eventually be joined by an armored version that offers VR9-level ballistic protection.
