Marketing on social networks requires more of a focus on the human element since its more about building relationships then it is your technical knowledge. There's no way around it, social networking for business requires building trust with others which requires time and interpersonal skills. You notice I did not say effort since making 'friends' should be more an act of enjoyment and not regarded as labor!

In order to get the best results when social networking for business here are 3 things you will need to do.

Exercise Patience

Take off your selling shoes and pull up a chair so you can get to know people. Building relationships is an absolute must to even get notice on any social sites and as you know this takes time. Even if you are only social networking for business time must first be taken to develop some type of bond with others or you will be invisible to them and useless to your business!

Establish Credibility

The bonds you do develop need to be meaningful insofar as maintaining a knowledgeable, professional and always helpful profile. For any marketing attempts to be successful people must first have some confidence that you know what you are talking about and that your intentions are good and not all business. Your best results will come ONLY after you have taken the time to develop this good reputation with others.

Develop Trust

The most important 'component' of the reputation you develop is trust! As touched upon above your reputation must be a positive one that reflects credibility but building trust is just as, if not more important. If people can not trust in you then any efforts you put into social networking for business will be wasted. People can not be expected to part with their hard earned money if they lack faith in you so obviously building trust is a priority. 5. Competitive - In starting and expanding business, competition among other entrepreneur is unavoidable. Thus, despite having many rivals and competitors, an entrepreneur must know how to stay ahead of his competitors to pursue his target. To accomplish this, entrepreneur must always introduce new ideas and explore new ventures.

Certainly, the characteristics every entrepreneur must have are not limited to the ones mentioned above. Entrepreneur should also know when and how to relax, and spend their quality time with their family. Training With Grace is offering an intensive, 6-month program appropriate for students ready to explore dog training as a career, those dog enthusiasts looking for a deeper understanding of their canine companions, and any other professional working in the dog industry looking to develop a better understanding of canine behavior.

The Rocky Mountain Regional Dog Trainer Academy comprehensive program offers a cutting-edge approach to dog training where students will learn about modern, science-based techniques and canine behavior. The Academy's aim is to provide a strong foundation of academics and theoretical knowledge to support solid handling skills and mechanics gained through hands-on practice. Students will also learn about the business side of this profession, including how to start a new career, build and grow their own company, client-relations, and marketing.

Rocky Mountain Regional Dog Trainer Academy seeks to develop a relationship with students to facilitate open communication and encourage growth as they move through the program. The program is unique because trainers are there each step of the way, offering guidance and feedback as students increase their knowledge base and develop their skills.

This extensive and intensive training program will teach students:
How to gain knowledge of dog behavior and application of training techniques
How to develop and refine handling skills and mechanics
Learning Theory, Instructions Skills, Husbandry, Ethology, Equipment
Public speaking and group class management
Business building

Requirements include, but not limited to:
Observing and assisting group classes and private consultations
Volunteer work with a shelter or rescue group
Typically two weekends per month of lecture and training - Friday evening and Saturday morning
Required reading and practicum
Pre-requisite of 200 hours of previous dog experience (shelter volunteer or staff, assisting in dog training classes or private consultations, dog walking, grooming, vet technician)
Application-interview process
High school diploma or equivalent

This annual program will run July through December of 2011. Lectures will take place Friday evenings in Englewood, CO and continue, along with hands-on training, on Saturday mornings in Golden, CO.
