Product Features
The MIL-S4800 is an unmanaged Ethernet switch that has 48 10/100 Base-TX ports with 1 10/100/1000 Base-TX port and 1 Gigabit SFP port. The switch has automatic MDI/MDIX to adjust for straight-through or crossover cables during installation. The switch has a rugged metal chassis with internal power supply to provide reliability. The MIL-S4800 conforms to the IEEE 802.3, 802.u, 802.3ab, 802.3z and 802.3x standards.
The MIL-SM4004TG is a managed Ethernet switch that has 4 10/100/1000Base-TX ports plus 4 Gigabit SFP ports. The MIL-SM4004TG layer 2 managed Ethernet switch provides high performance non-blocking switching. Features of the MIL-SM4004TG include port based, dynamic and static VLANs, GVRP, VLAN tagging, IGMP snooping or querying, port mirroring and DHCP client or server modes. Four priority queues insure minimum delay for voice over IP or multimedia networks. Non-blocking 16Gbps architecture assures rapid packet delivery while the 8,000 MAC address table provides swift lookup and packet forwarding. The MIL-SM4004TG can be remotely managed via the web-based GUI, CLI and menu based commands via telnet or the DB-9 console port in addition to SNMP V1/2/3.
The MIL-SEM24T4GPA is a managed Ethernet switch that has 20 10/100/1000Base-TX ports plus 4 10/100/1000Base-TX/Gigabit SFP combo ports. The MIL-SEM24T4GPA layer 2 managed Ethernet switch provides high performance non-blocking switching. Features of the MIL-SEM24T4GPA include port based and 802.1Q VLANS, IGMP V1/V2, spanning tree, rapid spanning tree, 10K Jumbo frame support and link aggregation control protocol (LACP). With Quality of Service (QoS) and Class of Service (CoS) the MIL-SEM24T4GPA insures minimum delay for voice over IP or multimedia networks. Non-blocking 48Gbps architecture assures rapid packet delivery. The MIL-SEM24T4GPA can be remotely managed via the web-based GUI, CLI via telnet or the DB-9 console port in addition to SNMP V1/2.

Certified interoperability between 3CX’s free software PBX and SmartNode VoIP gateways offers a cost-saving small-office VoIP solution that leverages existing computer, phone, and fax equipment.

3CX - developer of the software-based Private Branch Exchange (PBX) for Windows - and Patton Electronics Company - the industry leader in business-class network access, connectivity and VoIP equipment - announced today a strategic technology partnership that pairs 3CX’s free software-based IP-PBX for Windows with Patton’s SmartNode(tm) VoIP gateways.
Certified interoperability between 3CX’s SIP-based PBX and SmartNode VoIP equipment means small offices can immediately realize the cost-saving benefits of VoIP (such as free calling and consolidated operations). The 3CX-Patton solution enables a gradual transition that avoids the expense and risk of a wholesale migration.

“We are very pleased to cooperate with such an industry leader as Patton,” said Nick Galea, CEO of 3CX. “SmartNode VoIP Gateways are well-known for their stability and powerful features. Our cooperation multiplies the value we deliver to our mutual customers. Anyone who buys Patton and 3CX solutions can rest assured the products work well together and are fully supported.”

SmartNode gateways provide Ethernet and telephony interfaces (PRI, BRI, FXS, FXO, T1, E1, etc.) for interconnecting computers running 3CX PBX software with legacy POTS and ISDN phone and fax equipment. For fallback and local-number dialing, SmartNode also provides PSTN access. New SIP-phones can also be connected to the fully integrated VoIP, voice, and data network.

“We are honored to be working shoulder-to-shoulder with such an industry front-runner as 3CX, said Bobby Patton, President of Patton Electronics. “It’s a collaboration of innovation.”
Both companies are distinguished by groundbreaking firsts. 3CX is first-to-market with a free software-based IP-PBX for the Windows operating system. Patton’s SmartNode brand has launched such innovations as VoIP-over-VPN with encrypted voice, and a low-cost, high-performance PRI VoIP gateway with Dual Gig Ethernet ports.

“Interoperability is the word in today’s converging networks,” said Marco Liechti, VoIP Product Line Manager at Patton. “No business can risk an untested, non-standard system. We are very pleased 3CX has chosen SmartNode for certification. SmartNode VoIP equipment is the industry’s most interoperable. We’ve been supporting the SIP standard for years.”
