Two Globals from Kerberos Hunting

I made 2 Globals in only 10 minutes near to Fort Troy camp.

First one was 12 PED from a Kerberos Young, second one was 61 PED from a Kerberos Mature.

Entropia Universe How to Make Money

General considerations:

· most of the items listed below are rather theoretical but nevertheless listed to ensure completeness.

· most of the items listed below need a lot of dedication and time

· some of the items listed below need a significant starting capital

Sweating

Sweating or formally "Sweat Gathering" is the process of gathering "Vibrant Sweat" from the various creatures around Entropia Universe. Sweating is a free-to-play activity. Since "Vibrant Sweat" is used for further processing, mainly for creating "Mind Essence", it has a small market value and can be sold to other players. Depending on your strategies and dedication you can gather a couple of 100s of units of sweat per hour. Sweat usually sells best in stacks of 1000 units with the market prize for 1000 units between 1 and 3 PED currently (May 2013).

While sweating you will also get in-game skills that theoretically can be sold to other players. But to get a substantial amount that is possible to sell at all you probably need to sweat for 100s if not 1000s of hours.

Collecting fruits, stones, dung and Broken Elysian Technology

· Various types of fruit, various types of stones, Common Dung are resources that can be found on the ground of planets occasionally

· "Broken Elysian Technology" can only be found on planet Next Island occasionally

All of them can be used for further processing, mainly in Crafting, therefore have a small market value and can be sold to other players. Depending on one's luck the profit can be in about the same range than the profit from sweating but is somewhat boring since it only involves walking around and keep your eyes open for the items on the ground.

Oil Rig and Beer Gardens

Oil rigs and similar are free goods spreading facilities and regularly found in areas with Player-versus-Player combat (PVP) enabled and usually controlled by groups of high-skilled and well-equipped players. The costs to control and defend control over these facilities quite likely eat up all possible profit from collecting the oil.

· The Oil Rig northwest of Ashi on Planet Calypso is regularly producing stacks of Oil which can be picked up from the ground by everyone.

· The Oil Field near Camp Icarus on Planet Calypso has been disabled and no longer produces oil.

· On ROCKtropia one can find the Motörhead Stadium Beer Garden where Motörhead Kegs appear on the ground.

· On the ROCKtropia sub-destination Hunt The THING there's another oil producing facility.

Free Competitions

Free competitions or events are usually run by other players but sometimes also by Planet Partners, ingame or on community websites. Depending on the setup of the event one does not necessarily have to spend PEDs to achieve good results. Often those events offer low value prizes for the winners. Considering the chance to win and the rather low frequency of these kind of competitions this is merely a theoretical way to make money

Skill selling

A small group of skills can be acquired for free. They increase while Sweating or getting hit by creatures. Skills can be extracted to Empty Skills Implanets (ESI) and sold to other players. But due to the relatively high prize of ESIs compared to the relatively low prize of most of these free skills you first need a substantial amount of skills to make selling of these profitable.

Missions

There are a few missions that can be completed without spending any PED and which reward completion with items or skills theoretically worth PED. Since each can only get done once and the value of the rewards sums up to a maybe few PED (<10) this method is actually not worth mentioning.

Mentoring

Entropia Universe has a Mentoring system that allows experienced players to be mentors for new players. New players need to reach specific skills level to "graduate" and if they do the mentor gets awared with a low value ingame item. Considering the time spent to mentor a new player and the low vaule of the rewarded item this is just a theoretical way of earning money.

Battle Simulator

The Entropia Universe Battle Simulator is a competitive time trial solo instance in which all players share the same weapons and skill ensuring equal opportunities for everyone. There's a 4 PED entry fee and on average a fraction of that in loot for completing the instance. But a share of the total entrance fees in a week will be awarded to the best competitors of the week. So being among the best of the best on the long term might ensure a small stream of revenue.

Land deeds

Lands deeds, similar to shares, entitle the deed holder to receive a share of the revenues of the entity represented by deeds.

Currently there are only two types of lands deeds available: Calypso Land Deeds (CLD) receiving a 25% share of Planet Calypso's total revenue and Arkadia Underground Deeds (AUD) receiving 5% tax revenues of the Arkadia Underground estate. Another type, the Battle Arena Deeds are scheduled for release in 2015.

You need a system as follows for playing Entropia Universe game on your computer.

Operating System: Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8.x. or Windows 10.

Entropia Universe will run on both 32 and 64 bit Windows versions but while a 64 bits OS can utliize more than 4GB of RAM, the 64 bit versions are preferable. For best support we recommend Windows 10 with the latest patches from Microsoft.

New Features

Codex

The Codex is a repository for creature information and missions. Additional features are planned to be added to the Codex in the future, currently the Codex only features Planet Calypso and Space creatures.

This first version of the Codex features creature entries that are unlocked by encountering creatures while exploring the universe.

Codex entries can be unlocked by scanning or by participating in the kill of a creature (including healing and absorbing damage).

Every creature entry has an associated Hunting Challenge comprised of 26 stages, with the last stage being repeatable.

Hunting Challenge missions are now automatically begun once a qualifying creature is killed; there is no need to visit a mission terminal or mission NPC.

Hunting Challenge rewards are distributed by the Codex.

Hunting Challenge progress supports group hunts, and is not dependent upon an avatar being a member of a team, nor is it dependent on a creature having shared loot enabled. All participants of a qualifying creature kill will gain Hunting Challenge progress relative to contribution. (Loot distribution mechanics are unaffected by the changes to mission progress).

All avatars start at Stage One of the Hunting Challenge for all creatures in the Codex.

Entropia Exchange

It is now possible to place sell orders for shares on the Entropia Exchange, with a maximum duration of 7 days.
Sell orders are grouped together based on price and are executed based on order timestamp, with older orders being executed first.
Existing shares can be acquired by browsing active sell orders on the Entropia Exchange.
There is a transaction fee of 0.25% of the sale price for all sell orders, with a minimum fee of 25 PEC and a maximum fee of 25 PED. Fees for the unfulfilled portion of sell orders are refunded once the order expires.
An alert is sent to the Message Center when a sell order has been fulfilled.

Chat Channels

Avatars now automatically rejoin the previous session’s custom chat channels when logging in.
Avatars are removed from custom chat channels when disconnected or logged out from Entropia Universe.
Custom chat channels no longer have restrictions on the number of members.
Custom chat channel membership is retained across server restarts and client login sessions.

Changes

Added a new option in Options/Gameplay to “Only Interact with Locked Enemies”.
Improved the display of persistent buffs.
The Client Loader no longer steals focus when launching the Entropia Universe client.
Objects displayed in the Item Info panel can now be rotated using the middle mouse button.
Adjusted the size of the recently added News interface.
Loot outlines now only appear on creatures that the avatar is able to loot.
The View Achievements context menu item is now disabled if the target avatar has not enabled the Share Achievements privacy option.
Adjusted interaction text for various interfaces and buttons (i.e. Auction->Place Bid, Lamps-> Turn On/Off, Body Sculpting Unit).
Attempting to view or place a bid on an auction which has ended will now be indicated properly.
Added the ability to attach enhancers to an item by dragging and dropping them onto the item’s inventory icon.
Avatars are now revived instantly by H-DNA consumables, but movement is restricted for 10 seconds.
Added a feedback message in the chat window when inviting an avatar to a team: "Team invite sent to <Avatar Name>.".
Opening Strongboxes can now be performed by using the Spacebar key.
Avatars attempting to repair mothership modules will now automatically move within range when necessary.
The interaction interface for repair tools now respect the tool’s range with regard to mothership modules.
An alert is now displayed in the login window whenever Caps Lock is active.
The Market Value menu option is no longer displayed for items that cannot be traded.

Fixed Issues

Fixed an issue preventing the Client Loader from repairing corrupted files upon patching.
Added a button in the Folders tab in the Client Loader Tools window to start local data verification.
Fixed an issue causing creature names to disappear when hovering the mouse over the buff icon on the creature nameplate.
Implemented various client stability improvements.

Known Issues

The Entropia Exchange does not update sell orders while the interface is open. Relaunching the interface will update the sell order information.

My HOF (Hall Of Fame) valued 610 PED !!!

I made an Shriek Combat Item valued 520 PED and entered to HOF (Hall Of Fame).
Than I continued to tries and second one was 90 PED.

I worked on distance between probes and I saw when you drop each 80 meter it gives you %99.75 of the area. It means, I will use drop distance about 80-85 meter and I will write the results here.

It is at south of Twin Peaks, west of an Outpost.
I also found nice Ore deposits around.

Arkadia Days

I came to Arkadia. Mining and treasure hunting heaven.

I completed some missions and earned 1 hover pod, guns, armors, mining equipment etc.

But I am not satisfied about mining results. And the biggest problem is trade in Arkadia. Enmatter and ore MU values are higher than Calypso but there is no buyers for them.

I am planning to go back to home, Calypso...

Planets of Entropia Universe

I am here again after a long break. During this break I visited all Planets in the Entropia Universe.
And I want to share my thoughts.

1) Rocktopia: Zombie and music themed planet. I hate zombie stories and i didn't like the planet. But I completed "Hunt the Thing" mission and I earned 1 Helli, 1 weapon etc.

2) Next Island: Tropical island themed planet. It also includes time travel option to Ancient Greece. You can find and kill ancient monsters. Not bad but boring after a while.

3) Arkadia: Planet for Treasure hunters. I didn't understand well and bored.

4) Cyrene: New and almost dull planet. I didn't like.

After all, I returned to home, Calypso.

I got my first hunting HOF killing a snablesnot-female mature for 58 PED.

I will be around.

I am in Entropia Space

I decided to go to Rocktopia for Hunting.
I am on my way.
My captain is Mitsuwa. I paid him 10 PED for trip including all fees.

While i was writing these my pilot died (disconnected) and now i fly the ship.

It's like a damned movie. Pilot dies and one from the paseengers fly. :)

Driving in Entropia

Last weekend, I stuck in an Outpost at southwest of Twin Peaks. It was surrounded by Drones and Defenders (robots).

I tried everything to get rid of, but failed thousand times. Then I decided to check out the prices of Vehicles. And I bought a Valkyrie Mk1 around 8 PED. I tried to run it but It said "You have to put Oil first". I obeyed and bought 400 units Oil, filled it up.

Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! It was funny to drive in Entropia and I finally got rid of that damn place.

Now I am planning to give lift to people for nearest Teleport. May be I can be a good Taxi Driver :)

Ground Zero and Hangars

I completed my 1000 Shinkiba Mission and gained 1 Agility point.

Then I decided to see Ground Zero / Typhon Crater and walked there.
It was good to hunt some Jam Raiders robots. They are harmless but there are some high level and armed other robots around. Be careful!

When I reached Cape Corinth, 15-20 new addresses recorded to my map. Most of them hangars around Cape Corinth and Rogue Plains. I decided to go Rogue Plains.

Here is good for beginner hunters because of Low and Mid Level mobs. You can find hundreds of Cornundacaudas and some Combibos.

I will hang around here for some time...

I watched this video yesterday and I tried. It works 100%.

You can sweat a mob fully in 1-2 minutes.

Just define one key for sweating and the other one for auto-tool.
Press auto-tool and see :P

I am at Twin Peaks for Shinkiba Hunting, Crafting and Trading

I came to Twin Peaks for shinkiba missions and rewards.

It looks pretty good. There is a Mall, a Bank and some spaceships.

I accepted "Iron Challenge: 100 Shinkiba" mission. And I found a Shinkiba Heaven at west side of Twin Peaks.

Edit: I completed the mission and i gained 1 Intelligence point.

Now I am in 500 Shinkiba Mission :)

Powering my gun
