Again Sanjay Nayak proved his calibre as a director. He presented a good movie to odia audience. Archita has a challenging role in this film. Archita played a girl's role who is bound with the situations, budhaditya played a positive-thinking, caring husband's role and sabyasachi played a role which is the main attraction for the mass. Sabyasachi's on-screen presence is less in the film which is disappointing.

If some more scenes of Sabyasachi could have been there in the film, then it'ld have been more interesting. I liked all the songs. Specially the rain song of Archita. Sarthak has proved it again. Lastly I'll say that all should go and enjoy this movie.

ABHIMANYU MOVIE REVIEW

Recently I've seen an odia movie named "ABHIMANYU_ THE LOVER WARRIOR". It is produced by Sarthak Music (Owner- Sitaram Agrawal) which is a renowned company in odia and also bengali non-film cassette market. "ABHIMANYU" is their second presentation to odia movie buffs. It's basically a romantic thriller which is clearly indicated from the title.

It's directed by Susanta Mani (Sanu). It's also his second film as a director. Music by Prem Anand who recently composed a track for a hindi movie "DEKH BHAI DEKH" (released). Choreography by S.K. Muralidharan (Murali Babu) who has done many odia films as a choreographer and also three films as a director.

Story is not new. We've seen these type of stories in many films of various languages. But the treatment with the plot is new for odia audience. For the first time we can see an odia thriller made with such maturity.

This film'll be remembered for a strong storyline, matured direction, innovative choreography (specially 'janena mun'), stupendous camera work, excellent acting (from lead characters), marvellous dialogues, thoughtful lyrics (specially all the three versions of title song), very good music. In this film, we can see music flows paralally with the storyline. In many cases we see story pauses when a song comes and then story starts when song ends.

There is a suspense in the film which noone can predict. When it happens, you love the film more. Watch it for Mihir Das's remarkable performance. Anubhav improves film by film. This is the career best act of him. Priya is naughty and lovable.

If you can, watch it this weekend. I recommend, you won’t regret paying.

LOVE DOT COM REVIEW

Love.Com is a film which is based on the story of rivalry between two families. Bijay Mohanty and his wife Tandra Ray are heads of one family. They have one son Sabyasachi. Another family is headed by Snigdha Mohanty. She has three sons and a daughter Megha Ghosh. Kuna Tripathy is Snigdha's brother-in-law.

As luck would have it, Sabyasachi and Megha are studying in the same college. Here starts the game. Both Sabya and Megha pretend to fall in love with each other to seek revenge for their respective families. And to aid in all the pranks comes Sabya's best friend, the troublemaker Harihara Mohapatra.

But somewhere down the line, all this play becomes serious and the two actually begin to develop true feelings for each other.

Love.Com can be divided into two parts. The first half focuses on comical situations; the humour is the type that would appeal to the common man instantly. The post-interval portions do start on a similar note, but the narrative changes tracks gradually. It now becomes a clash of two egos and the game of one-upmanship takes over. Actually, the story starts moving in an altogether new zone and that's where things stagnate.

At the end what happens for that you've to see the film. You can see the film for Harihara Mohapatra's brilliant comic timing, good music, marvellous camera work. Sabyasachi and Megha Ghosh have done a good job. The story is mostly influenced by the hit Hindi Film HULCHUL which is also a remake of the Malayalam hit GODFATHER.

There are seven tracks in the album. Lyrics are meaningful as usual penned by Srikant Goutam. Prem Anand proves again his mastery in melody. First song is "Jie Mote". It's the title song of the film. A beautiful song with heart touching melody. "Bapa Ghare Jhia" depicts all the emotions from marriage preparation to end of the ceremony.

"Paunji Padaku" is lovable with western beats. "Miligala" is crooned by Nibedita and its male version is "Sarigala", beautiful words depicting the difficult situations effortlessly. "Rim Jim" is entry song of the heroine. And the sad track "Parilini" tells the last words of Badal beautifully. Sarthak Music proves it again its tradition of presenting good music to oriya listeners.

New released movie album "LOVE dot COM" has nine tracks in total. Title track 'Kahilani Key-board' is sung by Bibhukishore. It's a peppy number. Except that, there is a song 'love heigala' which is fast-paced .

Other songs are barsha haba chhata nahin, otha helani bhari chagala, khali tu khali mun, kou sahararu aasicha. Sad version of 'khali tu khali mun' hears good. An item number 'mun jaithili khandagiri' was picturised on item girl Sambavna Seth.

Sarthak Music's second film "Abhimanyu" has eight tracks in the album. Songs are composed by Prem Anand. First track is the title song 'Phasigalare Abhimanyu' which is sung by Sunidhi Chauhan. It's a fast-paced number. There are another two versions also i.e. 'lage eka eka (f)' in Nibedita's voice and 'lage eka eka' in male voice.

Three romantic numbers are there i.e. (1)Janena Mun, (2)O Priya Re, (3)A Kemiti Hela. These three are very good and romantic. A sambalpuri number 'majhi dariare rohi' which is the attraction of the album. As usual peppy number with good lyrics. And the last number is a classical. Overall, album is worth-buying.

The music of "Aakashe Ki Rnga Lagila" became very popular in all over odisha. Plus point for the album is that it comes from the renowned and reliable odia music company i.e. Sarthak Music.After many years, a music album came to the market which made people to fall in love with the songs in first hearing.

The album has seven songs in total. The first song is the title song i.e. 'aaji akashe ki ranga lagila' . It's the theme track of the film and it sounds so unique and fresh that you remember it for life time. It depicts all the shades of the hero(Akash)'s character. Then comes a number i.e. 'to akhire mun' which is picturised upon heroine(Archita) who sings in a melody and there, the hero first meets her . It's a beutiful number.

Then comes 'dure chali jae' which is written so beautifully. It's a trade mark song of Sarthk Music. A track picturised on child characters is 'kuchi kuchi'. After that a track named 'luha tope' which tells the relationship between a brother and sister. Another song 'akashaku chhuin jibi' tells the situation of a youth when he falls in love. At the end, the sad version of title song comes. It's a film album which is worth buying.
