If your a automotive performance enthusiast then chances are you like to do some spirited driving from time to time. With that comes the likely chance of getting pulled over from time to time. Well there is a new trick that will stop you from ever getting a speeding ticket ever again from any law enforcement officers again.

This trick is absolutely brilliant and best of all, this method works internationally, in every country in the world that has an enforced speed limit roadway.

Here’s 3 Simple Steps to follow that help you avoid getting speeding fines

1. Look closely at the signs on the road that show you the speed limit. The number indicated on this sign is the maximum speed that you are allowed to travel by law. Whether you’re on foot, bike or car. Sometimes trucks or buses have separate speed limits they have to follow.

2. Try to locate your vehicles speedometer. Normally these are found somewhere in front of the driver’s seat, on the dashboard just behind the steering wheel. It has an arrow pointing to the number that reflects your vehicles speed. On newer cars, the speed is sometimes displayed digitally, with numbers and sometimes they will even alert you if you are going over the posted speed limit.

3. This last point is also the hardest. Adjust your speed according to the number shown on the side of the road speed limit sign. The police cannot fine you if you do not drive over this posted number.

Strangely enough it seems surprising that too few people are aware of this simple, yet genius trick to avoid speeding fines. But, best of all, if you stick to it, you’ll never ever have to pay a speeding fine ever again. Be sure to share this will all of your speeding friends to help save them some money!

The post This Simple Trick will stop you from EVER getting another Speeding Ticket! first appeared on Epic Speed.

Lately there has been a new phenomenon that has gone viral on social media and that is baby gender reveal burnouts. Having a baby is a life-changing event, so why not invite your friends and family over to participate in some celebratory burning of tires. And, why not make those tires smoke blue for boys or pink for girls?

While the man behind Big Rob Entertainment, which is known for filming some of the most popular and intense street racing videos seen on the internet; thought he should have a burnout baby gender reveal too. But, we probably weren’t expecting what we came to see after these tires started spinning. He got out his 4th generation Chevrolet Camaro to show exactly what this baby is going to be when it comes into the world.

Check out the video below, and you’ll see a bit of a trickery displayed. With each tire spitting out a different color of smoke, it leaves you a little bit confused or maybe to think that there is a set of twins, one being a girl and the other a boy. But the real answer of what the gender of this baby is going to be is residing in the trunk instead. Congratulations to Big Rob!

If you’ve been keeping up with the 405 Street Outlaws guys then you’ve probably noticed there have been alot of motor changes and upgrades. Of course there is always a need and/or want to go faster to stay on top. Here is a glimpse of Kamikaze Chris’ brand new turbo setup and in the video below he’s showing us around under the hood giving more details about the new setup.

As you can see, the car has a awesome looking turbo setup installed around the Fast Times Motorworks-built engine. Chris doesn’t reveal the exact displacement of the engine, but he does narrow it down to “somewhere around 540-550 cubic inches”, which should give him plenty of top end without being too rowdy down low as he states. The twin Precision Gen II Pro Mod turbochargers are built with billet wheels and are 94mm in size which should help produce around 3,000 horsepower according to Kamikaze. That sure makes the Elco a top contender and a car that everyone should be worried about lining up against.

There is no doubt at all that Kamikaze is taking the Elco to a whole a new level compared to the previous nitrous combo. Over the past few years the car has transformed alot from being a thrown together “used parts” car from when Flip had it, to now what it has become today. It’s uncertain when this setup will show up on the show, one is to guess likely in season 12 since season 11 is currently filming. Before it’s debut on the show keep your eyes out on the streets.

The next 2 seasons of Street Outlaws should be an interesting now that Monza has also converted to a turbo setup on his split bumper Camaro. Boosted GT is back in the game as well with a new mustang. Along with Doc’s 900+ cubic inch 5 stage nitrous Monte Carlo Street Beast and Reapers new Procharged Camaro are the only racers who haven’t made the switch to turbo.

In garages all across the country, there are likely many Do It Yourself weekend mechanics working on their cars or trucks trying to make them better or keep them running. Along with that comes the big debate of which tools are the best value for the price. Obviously we want to spend as little money as possible and that’s where Harbor Freight tools come into play. They’re arguably the best tool for getting the job done for the weekend warriors that are on a budget. You know, the “Junkyard LS” swap type of guys going out to the drag strip for fun and making over 1,000 horse power on some make shift cheap setup. But that’s the best part, if the motor blows, just go to the junkyard and get another one, since you’re saving so much money on tools. Not to pick on any one crowd, I myself am a Chevy guy and have many tools from Harbor Freight as well, so many I am a little biased?

While I’m not necessarily advocating for one side or the other in this debate, the point here is to share one guy’s experience of some of his favorite automotive tools he’s used from Harbor Freight along the way. This guy is in fact a professional tool reviewer and has been in the business for years.

Sure the quality is debatable in comparison to the top dollar tools, such as Snap On, Sk, or Matco to name a few. These tools purchased at Harbor Freight do comparable work for a fraction of the cost. Just like the Daytona 3-Ton Floor Jack that’s 3x less then it’s comparable Snap On Jack it was designed to. This is perfect for most us guys and gals where are just in it for fun, working on our rides here and there. If you don’t have a Harbor Freight near by, don’t worry because you can order them off Amazon as well. (linked below)

When it comes down to what you’re putting in your own toolbox, do you think that Harbor Freight tools are worth the price savings?

Chevrolets rumored 8th gen Corvette would have blown the roof off the 2018 Detroit auto show!

One of the most talked-about cars leading up to press days at the North American International Auto Show this week isn't even at the show. And it has yet to have been confirmed by General Motors.

The next-generation Chevrolet Corvette, which is widely expected to have its engine placed behind the seats for the first time in its 65-year history making it the first mid engine Corvette. Enthusiast car magazines and websites all across the internet have been breathlessly reporting that the eighth-generation Corvette would make its long-awaited debut this week in at the 2018 Detroit Auto Show.

While that turns out to have been premature speculation.

While the C8 has been caught testing numerous times by spy photographers, and appears nearly fully baked, apparently no one outside GM knows when it will debut. The next major global auto show happens in early March in Geneva and nearly all the world's supercar manufacturers are on this year's list of exhibitors. GM and Chevrolet are not scheduled to attend.

	C8 Mid-Engine Corvette Release Date?

If you are going to launch a bona fide American supercar, why not take it to the Europeans and introduce it in their backyard? Also, even though GM no longer owns Opel and Vauxhall, Chevrolet maintains a small presence in Europe, offering Camaro and Corvette in several countries. So a European launch for the Corvette is plausible, but not likely.

Several people who claim to have good sources in General Motors say that the Mid-engine Corvette will be shown next year at the 2019 Detroit Auto show. Hopfully we don't have to wait another year, but with more and better spy shots coming often, there won't be much mystery left to this all new new car Chevrolet Corvette.

The post Why Chevy’s mid-engine Corvette was MIA at Detroit Auto Show first appeared on Epic Speed.

Precious was defeated by the 405's Murder Nova in a Cash Days last summer!

If you watched the season 10 premiere of Street Outlaws last night then you probably remember hearing that Memphis Street Outlaws very own head hunting queen of the streets Precious claimed to be undefeated while street racing against the 405. While earlier today Murder Nova posted a video on his facebook showing that this was in fact not true.

Shawn and the Midwest Street Cars guys raced Precious in JJ Da Boss's Heifer last summer in a Cash Days. The two raced in round two and Murder Nova in fact beat Precious advancing to the next round. The video is below and shows Shawn putting multiple cars on her after the 60ft. Maybe Precious ment that she is unfeated against the 405 while Discovery channel is around?

The video was taken at a Cash Days in Texas last summer in 2016. Take notice there are no television camera crews or auxiliary lights posted down the road the races take place on. This is in fact real life, 100% illegal street racing where particiapants could loose their cars and goto jail.

What we currently know about the brand new 8th generation 2019 Chevrolet Mid Engine Corvette

In today's video below we talked about the 2019 mid-engine Corvette. Throughout this year there's been a lot of spy images taken of the mid-engine Corvette and there's also been a lot of information leaked about it. But, what people are still wondering is will the mid-engine Corvette be available for the 2019 model year and what kind of power can we expect to see from it? Well in this video below will be talking about the latest rumors about the 2019 mid-engine Corvette and it’ll also show you some spy images and give you a little history about the mid-engine Corvette.

The mid-engine Corvette it's something that car enthusiasts have been dreaming about for many years countless concepts have been created by GM. None of them have ever made it into production but all of that is about to change. This year there have been multiple sightings of mid-engine Corvettes out in public. In the video below there are some of the latest images taken back in July. As you can see the car is heavily camouflaged but it's still recognizable as a Corvette. The fact that this car is so heavily camouflaged is a good sign that we're looking at production-ready bodywork.

What's even more interesting is that when these images were taken Chevy had just shut down the plant that produces Corvettes and for those of you who don't know the Corvette assembly plant is in Bowling Green Kentucky. Chevy says the factory was shut down to prepare for the 2018 model year but many people are speculating that Chevy is preparing to produce the mid-engine Corvette.

It's safe to say that the mid-engine Corvette is very close to production so if you're in the market for a new Corvette, you better start saving now because it won't be long until it's released and it’ll likely cost around $100k. One thing that a lot of people don't know is that Chevy has been thinking about making a mid-engine Corvette for several years now and throughout the Corvettes history there have been several mintage and concepts made, but sadly none of them have ever been mass-produced. Ever since the 1960s Chevy has teased the idea of making a mid-engine Corvette. Many concepts have been made throughout the years but none have ever made it to production.

Mid-Engine Corvette in Motor Trend a decade ago

About ten years ago a mid-engine Corvette was featured and it was in an issue of Motor Trend magazine from 2007. When this issue came out they were talking about the next generation Corvette and one of the things they heavily talk about is a then mid-engine Corvette. Throughout the article they show concept images of vettes. The article says that the vice chairman of GM was pushing for a mid-engine Corvette for the seventh generation and it goes on to say that a mid-engine Corvette would coincide with a front-engine Corvette. But on the next page they talk about some of the pros and cons of a mid-engine Corvette and one of the things that probably killed it was the fact that it would have cost a lot of money to make.

Don’t forget this article was written back in 2007 and the very next year came the recession of 2008 and as we all know GM and getting bailed out by the government. This ended any hopes of the mid-engine Corvette project. So had it not been for the recession of 2008 there would probably be mid-engine Corvettes on the roads today. Let that sink in for a moment if it wasn't for the recession the mid-engine Corvette would probably have been made at this point and here we are exactly 10 years later and the mid-engine Corvette has all but been officially confirmed by GM. So it's only a matter of time before the mid-engine Corvette is revealed to the world.

Our final thoughts on the mid-engine Corvette

We think it's exciting that Chevy is finally going to make a mid-engine Corvette after years of speculation and rumors we finally have concrete evidence that Chevy is working on a mid-engine Corvette. The release is right around the corner, literally as we're coming towards the end of 2017 already and within a few months Chevy may finally release a mid-engine Corvette. If there's ever been the right time in history to release the mid-engine Corvette that time is now. The car world is on fire right now and the competition is greater than it's ever been before now.

Who will be buying a mid-engine Corvette?

Honestly you would definitely consider the price points will just be a little too high as people are speculating the mid-engine Corvette will cost anywhere from 95k-105k and just a little pricey for most people. But it's definitely going to be an amazing car that most can't wait until the day comes out. Before too long we’ll be watching the mid-engine Corvette being pitted up against a Ferrari.

So what do you guys think of the mid-engine Corvette? Let us know in the comments below and enjoy watching the video below.

For Holden fans this month there is likely no dry eyes as the brand known as "Australia's Own" brings a 69 year long production run to an end in just a couple of weeks. General Motors, Holden's parent company will be moving production overseas as the cost of doing business in Australia has become far to great for the giant automaker. The production of these vehicles have always been a great pride and joy to Aussie gear heads all around the country. So we've compiled a list of what many fans have said to be some of the best concept cars that Holden has pushed out over the years.

The Hurricane still holds its own today thanks to it's impossibly low wedge-shaped styling that could have easily have originated from an Italian design house such as Lamborghini or Ferrari.

These features included climate control, digital instruments, a rear view camera which was displayed on a CRT monitor and navigation called "Pathfinder" that used magnets in the road surface to determine its position. Isn't crazy how these are all normal options available on todays cars that most of us probably take for granite.

Well that was at least the thinking behind Marilyn, which was a working prototype of a potential Monaro convertible. The 536 horsepower 7.0-litre LS-Series V8 engine under the hood gave it raw power. Of course the big engines are fine, but with a name connecting the concept to the Holden Racing Team there needed to be more.

HSV ran the numbers on building 50 of them and came up with a final figure of over $200,000 per car.
