Never Lose Hope received critical acclaim, with praise going to its impressive visuals, exciting gameplay, first-class voice acting, and full orchestral scores. While some critics praised the story, others argued it utilized cliché storytelling biased towards a "campy" sci-fi audience. Other criticisms went to the lack of explanation regarding the weapon upgrade system.

The gameplay—combining hack and slash and top-down shooting elements—features exploration and combat in various environments, in addition to VR Survival Modes that grant experience and allow customization of the main character's abilities with items called ARK fragments. Set in the year 2201, Never Lose Hope focuses on Jacob Francis Carloway, a Warmech pilot serving the Iconix, a faction on the leading edge of advanced technology. An attack on Earth by Alien life forms called XDA in 2178 forces humanity to evacuate to the nearest hospitable planet in the Tau system. Twenty years following the invasion, the survivors in the Tau system detect an incoming attack from the Earth and deploy two Warmech suits to investigate and eliminate the threat forming on the Earth's surface.

Development of Never Lose Hope began in 2012 with a small team within the indie studio Rayark, after a redirected attempt to create an Xbox title. Key influences included artificial intelligence and man-machine integration, which influenced the story, graphics, and music while combining with typical cyberpunk elements.

After release, an expansion episode titled Implosion: Last Man Standing was developed, featuring a new playable character and a separate story mission. The Last Man Standing episode received additional praise for its revamped gameplay elements.

Gameplay:-

Implosion is a third-person hack-and-slash that allows players to use their mecha's sword as well as ranged gun attacks. The player's mecha uses rolling to dodge enemy attacks and can combo attacks in sequence. The mecha is also customizable with different parts bought from a shop, which can change how it controls, although the gameplay is mainly skill-based.

The mobile version uses touch controls and is also compatible with external controllers. For the Nintendo Switch, the dual stick controllers are used.

The game grades the player at the end of the level, lowering the reward if the player fails the same level multiple times. The levels can be replayed for a higher score, which is also displayed on the game's leaderboard.

An alternate Warmech named "Crimson" can be unlocked and is piloted by Jake's teammate, Diana May. Crimson is faster and harder-hitting than Jake's Avalon Warmech and utilizes hover-wings to fly out of the way of incoming attacks rather than a rolling dodge. Its primary weapon is a staff.

Finally, there is a third Warmech piloted by Jake's uncle, Jonathan Carloway. It is only accessible through a separate campaign following the story of the main campaign and through a VR combat simulator. It is a Warmech II, meaning it lacks any form of shield or dodge whatsoever, making it a very vulnerable target. Modes

Lords Mobile combines open-space RPG, Real-time strategy, and world-building mechanics. Its gameplay consists of several game modes. the most notable of which are PVP-battles. Players should develop their own base and build an army in order to attack enemy bases, destroy them, seize resources, and capture enemy leaders. Usually, players can attack only enemies from their own kingdom, but during the Kingdom War (KvK), all servers (sometimes, only one selected by the system) are opened for attacks (excluding new servers which protected by shields). Players can attack monsters and other world bosses that periodically appear on the kingdom map in order to claim resources from them. In addition to the usual attacks, players can participate in contests, the purpose of which is to capture a location on the map, earning bonuses to either his or her profile or the guilt he or she is a part of:

Feudal Wars;
Battle Royal.

The game also has several additional gameplay modes:

Hero Stages - PvE-mode, the player fights through a series of challenges using unique Heroes. Completing the stages can earn the player new Heroes, Hero experience, and materials for Hero equipment.

Guilds

Players can join or create guilds in order to collaborate with other players regardless of location. Guildmates are able to assist their allies with build time and research time. They can also earn rewards for their allies by defeating world monsters and making in-game purchases. Each guild has a leader (R5) who can assign the ranking and positions of the guild members.

Characters

Lords Mobile features over 45 characters known as Heroes. They are divided into several types: Intelligent, Strong, Agile. Summon

By summoning fighters you can build a deck of six cards and a selectable 'friend' or 'guest' to compete in battles. You can summon fighters with Dragon Stones, Friend Points and Tournament Tickets. Cards can also be earned in during quests or events. They can also be purchased in Baba's shop with Incredible Gems, Battlefield Memeories, Supreme Kai Stones, and other event-exclusive items. Items can be brought in to aid the fighting experience.

Quest/Events

Dokkan Awaken: Where you can see which characters you can Dokkan Awaken and see how much medals it takes to Dokkan Awaken the card;
Hidden Potential: Where you can increase a card that's a UR or higher Stats with orb's (Some cards have their own special orbs) the same type as theirs;
Reverse: Reverse a Transcended UR or higher characters to there Pre-Dokkan Awakened status.

Shop

Here you can buy Dragon Stones with real currency. With Dragon Stones you can buy extra character slots, restore stamina, summon fighters and continue after you die during a quest or event. You can also visit Baba's shop:

Trade Points: You can buy all different types of items in the game using Baba Points. The list refreshes every 20 minutes (or you can use a Dragon Stone);
- Sometimes during an in-game celebration the Baba Shop time will be reduced, or may offer sales (most commonly 30% off all items)
Zeni: You can buy 5 different items (Senzu Beans, Kami's Lookout (training), and 3 awakening medals (Gregory, Bubbles and Dr. Gero). This list refreshes every 24 hours;
Treasure: You can buy items and characters with Incredible Gems.

You can trade in characters, training items, awakening medals and support items for Baba Points. Zeni is earned during quests and Incredible Gems is found in quests starting from Area 16 and up. Dragon Stones can be earned when you complete a quest for the first time or earned from Missions.

GAMEPLAY:-

Clash Royale is a tower rush video game which pits players in games featuring two or four players (1v1 or 2v2) in which the objective is to destroy the most amount of opposing towers, with the destruction of the "King's Tower" being an instantaneous win.After three minutes, if both of the players or both of the teams have an equal amount of crowns or none at all the match continues automatically onto overtime and the player who destroys an opposing tower wins instantaneously.After overtime, a draw occurs. In a late 2018 update ditching the teammate in a 2v2 match multiple times caused the player to have a block that prevents him/her from playing 2v2 with random players for a certain amount of time.

In Clash Royale, players are ranked by their number of trophies. Players level up by gaining Experience (or King Level) points through donating and upgrading cards. The highest possible level is level 13. The December 2018 Update added Star Points for excessive Experience when players reach level 13, and will award Star Points for previously leftover Experience.
Trophies are won or lost through multiplayer battles, a player wins a battle by destroying more towers than the opponent (each destroyed tower being represented as a 'crown'), or by destroying the opponent's King's Tower, resulting in an automatic "three-crown" victory (unless the King's Tower was destroyed at the same time by both players, resulting in a draw).
There are thirteen playing arenas in total (excluding the tutorial arena, Training Camp): Goblin Stadium, Bone Pit, Barbarian Bowl, P.E.K.K.A's Playhouse, Spell Valley, Builder's Workshop, Royal Arena, Frozen Peak, Jungle Arena, Hog Mountain, Electro Valley, Spooky Town, and Legendary Arena, with each arena corresponding to a certain trophy count range. A player reaches leagues after reaching 4000 Trophies.

Cards

Playable troops, buildings, and spells are represented as cards. Prior to each battle (with the exception of the first battle in Training Camp), players construct a deck of eight cards which they use to attack and defend against their opponent's cards. At the start of each game, both players begin with four randomly chosen cards from their deck of eight, except Mirror.
Each card costs a certain amount of elixir to play. Players start the battle with 5 elixir points (0 in Double and Triple Elixir modes), and one elixir point is replenished every 2.8 seconds (or 1.4 seconds in the final 60 seconds of the game and overtime, and every 0.7 seconds during Triple Elixir mode), with a maximum of 10 elixir points. Once a card is played, a new card is automatically drawn from the player's eight card deck.
Clash Royale first launched with 42 cards, there were 14 cards for each of the three rarities that existed at that time: Common, Rare, and Epic. The February 2016 update added a new rarity: Legendary, with the introduction of two new legendary cards to the game. As of May 2019, there are 93 cards in the game, coming in four rarities: Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary. The September 2018 update changed card levels as not to confuse new players. All cards now cap at level 13, with common cards starting at level 1, rare cards starting at level 3, epic cards starting at level 6, and legendary cards starting at level 9. All cards are level 9 for all tournaments. The December 2018 update added Star Points to unlock special golden cosmetics for Max Level cards.
The June 2018 update added the emote deck, players can now use up to eight emotes. Players can now choose any eight emotes from their emote collection. Players have to purchase their emotes from the shop (excluding the 4 King emotes which are free for all players).
Trade tokens were introduced in the September 2018 update. They can be used to trade common, rare, epic, and legendary cards with clanmates so players can get more of the cards they need and get rid of the cards they don't want. They can be won from challenges, clan war rewards and purchased from the Shop in special offers.

Clans

Starting from Experience level 1, players can join or form clans. Joining or forming a clan enables the player to engage in friendly battles and clan wars. It also unlocks the feature of trading and requesting cards from clanmates after becoming level 2. Clan members can also chat and share emotes with their clanmates. A clan has a maximum player limit of 50.

Clan Wars

During the April 25, 2018 update, a new Clan Wars feature was added. Clan Wars consists of five clans attacking other clans to get rewards in the form of special chests. The clan with the most wins would win the clan war. Players would receive a clan war chest bases on the best war in a season of fourteen days. Clan Chests were also removed in the update and replaced with the new Clan War chests.Clan war chests gets improved as the clan climbs up the war leagues. To play a clan war, the clan must have a minimum of 10 players that are level 8 and above. One clan war is separated into two days: the 'collection day' and 'war day'. Players receive a war bounty upon successful completion of their war day battle.

Tournaments

In July 2016, Supercell introduced a new Tournament feature. Tournaments are similar to normal battles, but all cards are capped at level 9. This feature is unlocked at player experience Level 5, but can only be played from experience level 8. Tournaments can only be created by using gems, and the creator can choose to make it password protected or open. Based on tournament performance, players are rewarded with tournament chests. As well as tournaments, there are two types of Victory Challenges, one in which the goal is to win twelve times while losing no more than two times and the other's goal is to play until you finish the entire challenge by winning all crowns or battles, regardless of losses. A Grand Challenge costs 100 gems to enter, and a Classic Challenge costs 10. Completing (or getting 12 wins on) a Grand Challenge gives you 22000 gold and 1100 cards, and completing a Classic Challenge will give you 2000 gold and 100 cards.Supercell has also added various event challenges, for limited periods of time, that add special features to the battles, or allow players to receive special cards. These event challenges can also sometimes be played in Friendly Battles.As of the October 2017 update, players would no longer get a refund on gems if no matches take place in their custom tournaments. In December 2018 update added Global Tournaments while Custom Tournaments is renamed to Private Tournaments which removed the prizes but added more options.

Leagues

In March 2017, "Leagues" were added to the game. Once above 4000 trophies, players are placed in one of nine different leagues ranging from Challenger I to Ultimate Champion.At the end of each season, players receive rewards based on the highest league achieved during that season. After the season ends the player is reset to half of the trophies they gained above 4000 trophies. So if they got to 6400 they would be reset to 5200 trophies at the end of the season. Another feature that was introduced is Clan Battles. Two players get to battle side by side with another member of their clan facing off against two other opponents from another clan. This is the first update to include a new game mode. As of November 2018, clan battles have been transferred into clan wars as 2v2 battles.

Quests

Questswere added in the October 2017 update as a set of achievements where some players have to complete certain tasks to receive rewards. The Quests section also includes a free reward which is given to the player every 4 hours, up to three times a day. This was added when the developers decided to remove standalone free chests from the game.

Battle System

Creo Party - Travel with a party of 5 monsters that level up in a logarithmic amount of time. That means that after the first few levels it should take the same amount of time to level up regardless of which level you are currently at.
Conditions - Conditions are negative status effects on a Creo. Some conditions stack in duration while others in intensity. For example, the condition chill can increase in duration. Using that move twice in a row will double the length of time that it is on the opposing Creo.
Boons - Boons are positive effects on a Creo. Some boons stack in duration while others in intensity. For example, the boon power can increase in intensity. Using that move twice in a row will apply a new boon super power, which is more effective than power.
Tiered moves - Each Creo has 1 Elite, 3 Normal, and 1 Healing move.
Rechargeable moves - Each move has a number of turns that it needs to recharge before being able to use another time. Elite moves have the longest recharge, but are the most powerful moves in the game. Normal moves have the lowest recharge, but are also the weakest moves. Healing moves have a recharge that is between both normal and elitemoves.
Re-learnable Moves - Previously learned moves can be retaught at any time outside of battle
Traits - Traits are in battle effects that influence anything from damage to defense if certain criteria are met.
Stat Customization - One of the goals of this game was to give the player more control over the customization of a Creos. To enable this, we have modified the functions of evolutions. Creos do not receive a stat bonus when they evolve, instead their distribution of stats shifts which alters the stat allocation as the Creo levels up. For example, if Creo A specialized in speed, then most of the stat points would be allocated into speed as it leveled up. When Creo A evolves into Creo B, which specializes in attack, the stat distribution changes. Now when Creo B levels up, most of the stat points will be allocated into attack. Deciding when to evolve Creo A to Creo B will determine whether Creo B is a fast Creo or a powerful Creo. This along with added customization offered by interchangeable moves and swap-able traits/abilities give the user full customization over their Creo.

Adventure mode

The player guides Agent 47, protagonist of the Hitman franchise, through a series of grid-based levels. Levels are composed of nodes and lines, and presented like a board game with characters modelled as miniature figures. Enemy characters can be dispatched by moving onto the node they occupy during a turn, similar to chess. As the player advances through levels, new enemy types and mechanics are introduced to increase the complexity of puzzle solutions.

Following its announcement, Hitman Go was met with some scepticism from critics. However, upon release the game received a positive reception with praise directed towards the game's art, aesthetics, simple gameplay mechanics, and translation of Hitman to a mobile device. The game also received several nominations and awards from gaming publications and award organisations. A successor set within the Tomb Raider franchise, titled Lara Croft Go, was released in August 2015.

Hitman Go is a turn-based puzzle video game part of the Hitman video game series. In the game each level is set on a grid-based board composed of interconnected nodes and lines. Nodes are positions that the player or enemies can occupy and lines are used for moving between nodes during a turn.Players take control of the series' protagonist, Agent 47. Using touchscreen controls, during a turn the player swipes along a line in the direction they want Agent 47 to move. In the "Definitive Edition" on PC, swiping is replaced by a click, hold, and drag interaction with a mouse.Once the player completes a turn, all enemies on the board will simultaneously move.Each level has a main objective for completion, some levels require the player to guide Agent 47 to the end node and others will require the player to assassinate a specific target. The player can assassinate enemies by moving onto the target's node, and similarly the player can be killed by enemies that move onto the player's node.

Levels become more complex as the player progresses, introducing different mechanics and new types of enemies. Each enemy type is dressed in a unique colour, allowing the player to recognise their movement patterns. Some enemies remain static or rotate on a single node, while others will patrol the board along a specific route. Later stages may require the player to collect keys located on the board and unlock doors that block access to the level objective.Trapdoors connect one location on the board to another and allow the player to move between them during a turn. Some nodes contain potted plants, the player will not be detected while occupying these nodes. Coloured disguises can be found and equipped to let the player walk past an enemy type of that colour without being detected. There are throwable objects that are used to disrupt and change enemy behaviour patterns. Firearms can also be found on certain levels, they are used to shoot targets or obstacles from a distance.

Most levels have bonus objectives such as collecting a briefcase or finishing the level without killing anyone, completing these will reward the player with stars. Stars are used to unlock the next chapter of levels. The game launched with five different chapters one of which was inspired by a level from Hitman: Blood Money. Post-launch, two additional chapters were added, one based upon a level from Hitman 2: Silent Assassin.The game features in-app purchases which provide hints to the puzzles or unlock level chapters immediately.

Gameplay is similar to the original Assassin's Creed. The player's Assassin can perform parkour by running towards climbable walls, hills, or objects, and will automatically perform parkour upon contact. The Assassin can also blend into various people/structures by either pressing the Action button or running into blendable structures/objects, although the Assassin must be in Alerted status or below to blend. Assassinations are performed by tapping the Action button when a nearby guard has the Hidden Blade icon over his head. During combat, players can attack, block attacks, use skills, or exit the fight. However, some skills cannot be used in combat, and exiting fights has a cooldown. The Assassin starts off at the Anonymous status, in which normal guards ignore him. If the Assassin manages to break hostile guards' lines of sight or is doing suspicious acts, the Assassin enters Alerted status, in which normal guards watch the Assassin closely, but do not do anything. During fights or when running from hostile guards, the Assassin is in Wanted status, in which all guards attack the Assassin on sight. However, the Assassin will always be attacked on sight in Restricted Areas, and by some Templar enemies. During combat, the player can also summon hirelings, which depending on class, have a skill and passive upgrade. However, if the player uses the hireling's skill, the hireling can no longer be used for the mission, and passive upgrade is nullified. Players can also use the iconic Eagle Vision and Leap of Faith during missions.

In Italy, an Assassin is patrollingMonteriggioni when he spots a group ofBorgia mercenaries disguised as tax collectors. Although the Assassin kills all of the mercenaries, a thief escapes with the contents of a chest belonging to the Assassins. The thief is revealed to be Pietro de Galencia, a Borgia Agent working undercover in Monteriggioni. Pietro had captured an old man, who was the father of a Roman Assassin, and tortured him into revealing one of the secret entrances into Villa Auditore, which led Pietro to the chest. After the theft, the old man escapes and warns the citizens of Monteriggioni about Pietro's betrayal. The Assassin then hunts down and kills Pietro. However, when investigating Pietro's house, the Assassins can only find letters from Cesare Borgia, Captain General of the Papal Forces and leader of theTemplars. Soon after, rumors begin circulating about mysterious men wearing black-feathered armor massacring people for sport.

Afterwards, Leonardo da Vinci, an inventor and ally of the Assassins, suspects he is being followed and calls an Assassin stationed in Firenze. While escorting Leonardo, the Assassin senses danger and uses his Eagle Vision to find a man disguised as a civilian. The man was wearing black armor decorated with crow feathers. The Assassin kills the man and hurries toward the Assassin hideout with Leonardo, but are constantly stopped by Medici Guards, who were allegedly asked to arrest Leonardo. The Assassin manages to escort Leonardo to safety, but even more reports on the black armored men begin to circulate, describing them as having uniforms filled with crow feathers, a fighting style exactly like the Assassins', and using a modified version of the Hidden Blade. Later, an Assassin scout visits Niccolò Machiavelli, an Assassin. The scout had been exploring a set of catacombs and found a tunnel blocked by grates. The scout saw several scrolls and manuscripts, but also saw a small chest with the Assassins' mark on it. Machiavelli then sends the scout, along with three Assassin apprentices, to retrieve the chest. However, after they fail to return, Machiavelli sends a scout to investigate. The scout tells Machiavelli that the Assassins were captured and killed by a group of Borgia Agents and their men. Infuriated, Machiavelli summons a veteran Assassin and tasks him to hunt down the Agents and recover the fallen Assassins' belongings. The Assassin retrieves the chest and kills the Agents before returning to Machiavelli with the chest. After examining the chest, Machiavelli discovers it was the chest Pietro de Galencia had stolen from Villa Auditore. The chest contained a modified copy of the original Hidden Blade blueprints, with a crow's head carved in the blade. Machiavelli then deduces that someone has successfully replicated the Hidden Blades.

After a while, Machiavelli receives a short, mysterious letter from a man named Demetrio, who plans to murder Cesare Borgia during the night. In the letter, Demetrio requests Assassins to escort him to safety after the murder. Machiavelli and an Assassin wait for a night to no avail when they see Cesare Borgia commanding his guards to execute a man. The Assassin points out that the man to be executed is Demetrio, a blacksmith working for Cesare Borgia. The Assassin manages to rescue Demetrio and escort him to safety. Demetrio tells Machiavelli that after he refused Cesare's order to replicate even more Hidden Blades, he was tortured. Demetrio then tried to murder Cesare many times, but failed each time. When Machiavelli shows Demetrio the modified Hidden Blade blueprint from the stolen chest, Demetrio confirms that he was the one who made them, and calls them the Corvix Blades. Demetrio then reveals information on Cesare Borgia and the men with the crow feathers. Demetrio explains that after realizing that his guards cannot use the Corvix Blades, Cesare decides to make his own Assassins. Cesare finds a group of young men in an orphanage and sends them to Vallombrosa, an abbey near Firenze. He then uses his contacts to trick a Spanish Assassin namedRaphael Sánchez into training the men by making Raphael believe that it was the Assassin's Brotherhood that contact him. After the training is complete, Cesare sends a bald man to Vallombrosa. The bald man claims that Raphael's task is complete and that he needs to return to Spain immediately. After the confused Raphael leaves, the bald man calls the young men "The Crows".

One day, Assassin scouts tell Machiavelli that something unusual was happening at the Borgia camp next to the Colosseum. Machiavelli sends an Assassin to investigate. The Assassin finds a huge load of weapons arriving from Firenze and opens one of the crates, which he discovers is filled with Corvix Blades. The Assassin then infiltrates the camp, which he discovers is full of members of The Crows. He then uses Eagle Vision and spots an ex-Borgia captain named Matteo conversing with a bald man. The Assassin eavesdrops on their conversation before tailing Matteo to the top of the Colosseum. After a brief fight, the Assassin kills Matteo. After the Crows leave the camp, Assassin scouts follow the Crows and find the bald man who had been talking to Matteo. His name was Sirus Favero, a weapons merchant from which Cesare was ordering special weapons. Sirus swears that he had no knowledge what the crates contained and agreed to help the Assassins against the Borgias. Sirus then proves to be a useful ally, as he provides the Assassins with information on Cesare's activities. He also gives Machiavelli a device used by Cesare's scribes to decrypt the messages used by Cesare's scribes and the Crows. Machiavelli then decides to chase one of Cesare's men, a bookkeeper running a ledger containing detailed information on Cesare's plans. Machiavelli sends an Assassin, who follows the bookkeeper to his hideout and steals the ledger. While reading the ledger, Machiavelli discovers the existence of Il Corvo, the Grandmaster of the Crows It also revealed that there was a Crow hideout in Rome, and that the Crows were planning something involving the nobles. Sirus then insists on staying in Rome, where he would intercept Crow messengers.

A few months later, Sirus sends a letter saying he knows where Il Corvo is hiding, and requests an Assassin to help him gather more information. The Assassin arrives in Rome and, on Sirus's command, kills a Crow messenger and brings his letter to Sirus. Sirus then tells the Assassin to hide until he finds exactly where the Crows are. However, the Assassin happened to be the one who witnessed Sirus talk to Matteo at the Colosseum, and the Assassin decides to follow Sirus. While following Sirus, the Assassin is ambushed by several Crow Leaders. After realizing the Crows are losing, Sirus shouts, "My Crows will do to you exactly the same as what you did to my son! You and all your brothers will pay with blood!" before disappearing. Machiavelli then realizes that Sirus is actually Il Corvo. Later, Machiavelli is visited by Father Pio, a friend of his, who complains about a group of people with the Borgia seal locking down the courtyard of the Santa Croce Cathedral. Machiavelli then sends an Assassin to investigate. After learning that there was a Crow messenger in Firenze, the Assassin identifies the messenger and kills a Templar Agent in the cathedral courtyard, causing chaos. With the messenger kept from entering until the chaos settled, the Assassin uses a fake letter and persuades the terrified messenger to switch the letters. The Assassin then brings the letter to Machiavelli, who realizes that Il Corvo is calling all of the Crows to Rome to kill the Assassins. Machiavelli then rushes to Rome, where he summons an Assassin to help him find Il Corvo's hideout. After identifying the hideout, the two witness a large group of Crows on the street. Suggesting that Il Corvo had set a trap, the Assassin escorts Machiavelli to a nearby bridge before killing Il Corvo and his bodyguards. He then rejoins Machiavelli, and they search Il Corvo's hideout. They find a piece of paper with the painting of a cube on it. They also find a small chest, which contains a small shard. While investigating the letters, Machiavelli reads a letter on how an object called the Crystal Cube was important to the Templars. He also deduces that even Cesare hated Il Corvo.

A few months later, one of Machiavelli's spies reports that The Crows had committed a string of ruthless murders in Forlí. After receiving the letter, Machiavelli is visited by Ezio Auditore, who possessed an artifact with supposedly magical powers. They decide to give it to Caterina Sforza, Countess of Forlí. Machiavelli then sends a message to his spy, asking him to meet him in Forlí. Machiavelli is escorted by an Assassin to meet the spy. While meeting with the spy, Machiavelli is ambushed by several Crows, who the Assassin fights off. Machiavelli then decides to eliminate the Crows. Machiavelli asks the Assassin to track down the Crows and kill them. The Assassin identifies an undercover Crow and follows him to a Crow meeting, where he kills all of the Crows. After the Assassin kills the Crows, Caterina Sforza and Machiavelli are told that the Borgia were attacking Forlí. During the attack, several of Machiavelli's spies are captured. However, the Assassin manages to free most of them before they are executed. Machiavelli then decides to watch the attack from a tower. However, he is hit by an arrow, which knocks him into the moat. Borgia guards then capture him and bring him to a small church outside of the city. However, one of Machiavelli's spies witnesses Machiavelli's capture and informs Ezio, who promptly informs the Assassin. While Ezio distracts the guards, the Assassin frees Machiavelli. Later, Machiavelli expresses his opinion that all of the remaining Crows were killed or scattered during the attack on the city.

The game's plot focuses on Max Caulfield, an 18-year-old photography student who discovers that she has the ability to rewind time at any moment, leading her every choice to enact the butterfly effect. After having foreseen an approaching storm, Max must take on the responsibility to prevent it from destroying her town. The player's actions will adjust the narrative as it unfolds, and reshape it once allowed to travel back in time. Fetch quests and making environmental changes represent the forms of puzzle solving in addition to using branching choices for conversation.

Development of Life Is Strange began in April 2013. It was formed with an episodic format in mind, for reasons both financial and creative. The developers conducted field research on the setting by travelling to the Pacific Northwest, and subverted known archetypes to make the characters. Player feedback influenced the adjustments made to the episodes. Story and character arc serve as the central point in the game. During its release, Life Is Strange received generally favourable reviews commending the character development, rewind game mechanic and tackling of taboo subjects. Common criticisms included the slang that was used, poor lip-syncing in earlier episodes, and tonal inconsistencies in the story. It received over 75 Game of the Year awards and listings. It has sold over three million copies as of May 2017. A sequel, Life Is Strange 2, was released in September 2018.

Life Is Strange is a graphic adventure played from a third-person view.The mechanic of rewinding time allows the player to redo any action that has been taken.The player can examine and interact with objects, which enables puzzle solving in the form of fetch quests and making changes to the environment. Items that are collected before time travelling will be kept in the inventory after the fact.

The player can explore various locations in the fictional setting of Arcadia Bay and communicate with non-playable characters. Dialogue exchanges can be rewound while branching options are used for conversation. Once an event is reset, the details provided earlier are permitted to avail themselves in the future. In some instances, choices in dialogue will alter and affect the story through short or long-term consequences. For each one of the choices, something good in the short-term could turn out worse later.

Plot:-

Life Is Strange is set in the fictional town of Arcadia Bay, Oregon, and is told from the perspective of Maxine "Max" Caulfield (Hannah Telle), a twelfth grade student attending Blackwell Academy during October 2013. During photography class with her teacher Mark Jefferson (Derek Phillips), Max experiences a vision of a lighthouse being destroyed by a swelling tornado. Leaving for the restroom to regain her composure, she witnesses classmate Nathan Prescott (Nik Shriner) kill a woman in a fit of rage. In a single, sudden effort, she develops the ability to rewind time and rescues the girl, revealed to be her childhood friend Chloe Price (Ashly Burch). The two reunite and go for a walk at the lighthouse, where Max reveals to Chloe her capacity to travel back in time. It is established that the vision is rather the reckoning of a future event: a storm approaching the town.The next day, Max observes fellow student Kate Marsh (Dayeanne Hutton) being bullied for a viral video depicting her kissing several students at a party.

Meeting Chloe at the diner where her mother Joyce (Cissy Jones) works, they decide to experiment with Max's power at Chloe's secret scrapyard hideout. However, strain causes Max to have a nosebleed and faint. Chloe takes her back to Blackwell, but class is halted when everyone is called out to the courtyard. Kate commits suicide by jumping off the roof of the girls' dorm. Max manages to rewind and time stops unexpectedly as she reaches Kate, giving Max the opportunity to convince her to come down. Max ultimately resolves to uncover what happened to Kate and Chloe's missing friend Rachel Amber. Max and Chloe break into the principal's office that night to investigate and enter the pool for a swim before evading David Madsen (Don McManus), head of security at Blackwell and Chloe's stepfather, and fleeing back to Chloe's place. The next morning, they sneak into the motorhome of Frank Bowers (Daniel Bonjour), drug dealer and friend of Rachel, and learn that Rachel was in a relationship with Frank and lied to Chloe about it, causing Chloe to storm off feeling betrayed. Max returns to her dormitory and examines a childhood photo of her and Chloe, but is suddenly transported to the day the picture was taken. Max prevents Chloe's father William (Joe Ochman) from dying in a traffic collision, which inadvertently creates an alternative reality where William is alive but Chloe has been paralysed from the neck down as a result of a collision in her own car.

Max uses the photo to undo her decision and return to the present day, restoring Chloe's health. Continuing their investigation, Max and Chloe obtain clues leading them to an abandoned barn owned by the influential Prescott family. They discover a hidden bunker containing pictures of Kate and Rachel tied up and intoxicated, with Rachel being buried at Chloe's secret hideout. They hurry back to the scrapyard and find Rachel's grave, much to Chloe's despair. Max follows Chloe at the school party to confront Nathan, believing he will target fellow student Victoria Chase (Dani Knights). They receive a text from Nathan threatening to destroy the evidence, returning them to the scrapyard. All of a sudden, the two are ambushed by Jefferson, who anaesthetises Max and kills Chloe with a shot to the head. Max is kidnapped and held captive in the "Dark Room", a place Jefferson has been drugging and photographing young girls to capture their innocence. Jefferson also reveals that he took Nathan on as a personal student, but killed him before abducting Max due to him giving Rachel an overdose when he tried to mimic Jefferson's work, and intends to do the same to Max after he has the photos he wants. Max escapes into a photograph and emerges back at the beginning in Jefferson's class. She alerts David, getting Jefferson (and Nathan) arrested.

Max is given the opportunity to go to San Francisco and have one of her photos displayed in an art gallery. She calls Chloe from the event, realizing that, for all her effort, the storm has reached Arcadia Bay. Max travels back to the time at which she took the gallery photo, which eventually leads her to sojourn alternative realities as they devolve into a dreamscape nightmare. Max and Chloe finally return to the lighthouse and confront the fact that Max brought the storm into existence by saving Chloe from being shot by Nathan earlier in the week. The only way to prevent it is for Max to go back to that moment via a photo she took and allow Chloe to be killed by Nathan. Max must make a choice: sacrifice Chloe's life to save Arcadia Bay, or sacrifice Arcadia Bay to spare Chloe.

Gameplay

Battlegrounds is a player versus player shooter game in which up to one hundred players fight in a battle royale, a type of large-scale last man standing deathmatch where players fight to remain the last alive. Players can choose to enter the match solo, duo, or with a small team of up to four people. The last person or team alive wins the match.

Each match starts with players parachuting from a plane onto one of the four maps, with areas of approximately 8 × 8 kilometres (5.0 × 5.0 mi), 6 × 6 kilometres (3.7 × 3.7 mi), and 4 × 4 kilometres (2.5 × 2.5 mi) in size. The plane's flight path across the map varies with each round, requiring players to quickly determine the best time to eject and parachute to the ground.Players start with no gear beyond customized clothing selections which do not affect gameplay. Once they land, players can search buildings, ghost towns and other sites to find weapons, vehicles, armor, and other equipment. These items are procedurally distributed throughout the map at the start of a match, with certain high-risk zones typically having better equipment. At the completion of each round, players gain in-game currency based on their performance. The currency is used to purchase crates which contain cosmetic items for character or weapon customization. A rotating "event mode" was added to the game around March 2018. Limbo is a 2D side-stroller, incorporating a physics system that governs environmental objects and the player character. The player guides an unnamed boy through dangerous environments and traps as he searches for his sister. Play dead called the style of play "trial and death", and used gruesome imagery for the boy's deaths to steer the player from unworkable solutions.

Gameplay:-

The player controls the boy throughout the game. As is typical of most two-dimensional platform games, the boy can run left or right, jump, climb onto short ledges or up and down ladders and ropes, and push or pull objects. Limbo is presented through dark, greyscale graphics and with minimalist ambient sounds, creating an eerie, haunting environment. The dark visuals also serve to conceal numerous lethal surprises, including such environmental and physical hazards as deadly bear traps on the forest floor, or lethal monsters hiding in the shadows. Among the hazards are glowing worms, which attach themselves to the boy's head and force him to travel in only one direction until they are killed.

The game's second half features mechanical puzzles and traps using machinery, electromagnets, and gravity. Many of these traps are not apparent until triggered, often killing the boy. The player is able to restart at the last encountered checkpoint, with no limits placed on how many times this can occur. Some traps can be avoided and used later in the game; one bear trap is used to clamp onto an animal's carcass, hung from the end of a rope, tearing the carcass off the rope and allowing the branch and rope to retract upwards and allow the boy to climb onto a ledge otherwise out of reach. As the player will likely encounter numerous deaths before they solve each puzzle and complete the game, the developers call Limbo a "trial and death" game.Some deaths are animated with images of the boy's dismemberment or beheading, although an optional gore filter blacks out the screen instead of showing these deaths.Game achievements (optional in-game goals) include finding hidden insect eggs and completing the game with five or fewer deaths.

The primary character in Limbo is a nameless boy, who awakens in the middle of a forest on the "edge of hell" (the game's title is taken from the Latin limbus, meaning "edge"), where he encounters a giant spider who tries to kill him. After using a trap to cut off the sharp points on half of the spider's legs, it retreats further into the forest, and the boy is allowed to pass. However, he is later caught in webs and spun into a cocoon. After breaking free from the threads that attached him to the roof, he is forced to hop, and eventually gets them off. After a while seeking his missing sister, he encounters only a few human characters who either attack him, run away, or are dead/dying. At one point during his journey, he encounters a female character, who he thinks might be his sister, but is prevented from reaching her. The forest eventually gives way to a crumbling city environment. On completion of the final puzzle, the boy is thrown through a pane of glass and back into the forest. After he wakes up and recovers from the pain and shock, he walks a short distance until he again encounters a girl, who, upon his approach, stands up, startled. At this point, the game abruptly ends.
