Medication we all take it and we all hate it. Sometimes we all seem to think that may be it isn't working. But the fact remains that for people with Epilepsy it's a part of everyday life. One thing I find that really bugs me is when doctors are constantly upping the dose trying to make us a perfect seizure free patient. The fact remains that nothing is 100% way to control seizures. I myself have had seizure free for weeks but at the same time felt dizzy light headed and tired, it's great to have less seizures but at what cost of not being able to be awake or felling like a zombie all day long.

On a positive note the I deal with the thing I go through is I put my trust in Jesus, and he help me get through these things.

Hello my name is John I have had Leukodystrophy since I was 3. This is a type of epileptic disease, to find out more visit The United Leukodystrophy Foundation.

When I was young I was told that I wasn't supposed to live past age 5, but look at me now I'm still here. Even though I live with this every day I don't let it stop me from doing the things I love to do.

I am a Christian who loves the Lord Jesus with all my heart, and until God decides when this disease takes my life I'm gonna keep on living.

The Lord has blessed me with a wonderful family, a great wife and a really cool son. There are some days that I just don't wan't to get up out of bed, but I know that no matter what happens Jesus is with me every day. This blog is to encourage those who struggle with seizures and help lift others up. Just remember when ever you think that everything is going wrong, you just call on Jesus and he will be there.
