Yngwie Johann Malmsteen (pronounced /ˈɪŋveɪ ˈmɑːlmstiːn/ in English) (born Lars Johan Yngve Lannerbäck on June 30, 1963 in Stockholm, Sweden) is a Swedish guitarist, composer, multi-instrumentalist, and bandleader. Malmsteen became notable in the mid-1980s for his technical fluency and neo-classical metal compositions. Four of his albums from 1984 to 1988, Rising Force, Marching Out, Trilogy, and Odyssey, ranked in the top 100 for sales.

Yamaha makes just about everything in Japan from jetskis to motorbikes to cars to keyboards to guitars. You’d think a company that really doesn’t just hunker down and focus on making one thing would just make cheesy guitars, but that’snot the case. Yamaha makes some of the most sought-after original guitars out there. For example, the praised SG-3000is of their own design. So impressed with this model was Carlos Santana, that he commissioned his own version to be built.They also made some extremely solid and beautiful “Super Axe” guitars, which are essentially Gibson ES-335 models. Yamaha also dabbled in making “lawsuits” of Fenders and Gibsons in the early 1980’s, the Fenders under the name“Super R’inRoller” and the Gibsons under the names “Studio Lord” and “Lord Player.” All of these replicas were verynice, but many were lower-end versions that had unmatched woods, yet played extremely well and sounded amazing.There were a limited number of really high-end clones produced, and they are out there, somewhere, but surface infrequently. If I ever have any to offer, they are always the higher-end versions.

eSONIC CONTROLS AND FUNCTIONS
The eSonic is equipped with 3 EQ controls that work together to shape the overall "tone" of your instrument. The controls are: Treble Knob, Bass Knob and Dynamic Slider. Each control has a center "detent" which can be considered a general purpose setting and a good place to start.
Treble: This controls the amount of treble or "highs." Rotate clockwise to increase treble up to 9dB and counter clockwise to reduce treble up to -9dB.
Bass: This controls the amount of bass or "lows." Rotate clockwise to increase bass up to 9dB and counter clockwise to reduce bass up to 9dB.
Dynamics: The dynamics slider reduces or increases the range of the treble and bass controls. Positioning the slider to the left reduces the amount of EQ dynamics while positioning the slider to the right increases the amount of EQ dynamics. The dynamic control also alters the EQ shape allowing you to best tailor the sound of your guitar to fit your style of playing, the volume level and the venue.
eSONIC2 CONTROLS AND FUNCTIONS
EQ Controls: The eSonic2 is equipped with individual EQ controls for each pickup. They are Mag EQ (Nanomag) and Flex EQ (Nanoflex).
Each control has a center "detent" which can be considered a general purpose setting and a good place to start. Each control operates in the same way by increasing Treble up to 9dB when turned clockwise and increasing bass up to 9db when turned counterclockwise. However, these controls are not linear in that other frequencies (in particular mid-ranges) are adjusted as well. This "variable" EQ control allows you to better "shape" the sound.
Blend: The blend control is your "mixer" between the Nanoflex and the Nanomag pickups. Use it to control the overall tone of the instrument as well as control the signals coming out of the Stereo outputs. By using it in combination with the EQ controls, you can really tailor the sound of the guitar to fit your playing style, venue and volume level.
