Profiting from Divine Clearance. Part 2

The Scripture is littered with examples of men and women who had extraordinary experience as a result of divine clearance. Child of God, it is my humble desire to prayerfully let you understanding without fear or favor that there is profiting from divine direction, there is gain from a divine YES, when God says this is what you have to do or where you must go; this may not be suitable for your flesh at that time, or it may not be suitable for the folks around you, but because it is a God-direction, hear me, I did not say a good direction but a God-direction, because there is a good direction and a God-direction.

Please pay close attention to this, the Bible declares in the book of Proverbs 14: 12 that: “There is a way which seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.” There is profing from divine clearance and direction and this is what we need more than anything today. In this year 2008 and beyond, the need to have divine permission and guidance from Zion cannot be overemphasized as we migrate toward our destinies in God.

I want to be able to establish God’s ministry, business projects on divine direction and not on my own personal agendas. We must be able to do what we have to do because it is a God-direction and not necessarily because it is convenient or comfortable for us.

There are so many things you and I must have done in the past that were quite good but not necessarily a God-direction. There are things you must have done in the past that were quite good but you had no divine clearance about them, but they felt good and comfortable to your flesh anyway. This must not continue, as this year, is the Year of the WORD, not an ordinary word, but an extraordinary word from the Extraordinary God and His word shall come to pass.

Profiting from Divine Clearance. Part 1

It is of utmost importance that we understand divine clearance because it will save us of valuable time and resources in pursuit of our destinies. Let us examine, the word clearance: This word could mean a lot of things to different people in this day and time, but for the purpose of our discourse, it is the divine permission that is given to you before you can embark on any assignment or action intended. It's to be impregnated with divine and specific information, that will empower you to do some things you want to do within prescribed parameters. This is a clearance in your spirit which, implies a God-given signal to GO. No inhibition or whatsoever, you are not limited by circumstances, either favourable or not.

“And David enquired at the Lord, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all”. 1 Samuel 30:8

According to the scriptural text above you discover that David is seeking the Lord for divine direction and clearance after a devastating event. He was not mesmerised by the events that had transpired neither was is actions precipitated by it but took courage to inquire of the Lord for clearance. This is imperative no matter the circumstance or situation we find ourselves.

This clearance should not be based on external events in your life, on individuals, your feelings, what you have or do not have, but it has to be divine, it has to come from heaven. This is imperative, as we progress in life towards our destinies, with a lot of ideas, different projects to be activated. All of these must not simply be done because it has to be done, but must be done because we have clearance from Zion, a resounding YES from God. In the same light if we have no clearance from heaven, we have to remain patient and wait upon God for instruction and direction. This is crucial as we live in a day and time, where it is normal to do what everyone is doing as to doing what I have being designed and anointed for, simply put living in God’s will.

Most Christians tend to do things spur-of-the-moment, we do things because we feel that it is a necessity, because we want to be involved or be in vogue, I have to do this to be part of these people or groups. But as children of God whatever we do, must be born of conviction and divine clearance. It may not be suitable or comfortable to wait on God for clearance, but the results and benefits are immeasurable if you trust the Lord for clearance in all situations of life. On the contrary the pain and disappointments are equally unbearable.

Taking the Sword of the Spirit. Part 2

It is an inconceivable tragedy to neglect this valuable offensive weapon that can arrest and frustrate every attack of the enemy. Hear me child of God the Word of God is the sword that your spirit man wields against every onslaught of the enemy and what you use in pulling down every stronghold in your life. This is God's Word that has become flesh in you and quickened by the Holy Spirit when you need it.

Taking the sword of the Spirit “Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God”. Ephesians 6:17

The scripture admonishes us to take the sword of the Spirit, but the question is how do I do just that? It is evident that most Christians tend to search through concordance or Bible commentaries in times of adversities for that magical word which supposedly is the sword of the Spirit that will enable them assault the devil and his cohorts. However, this is a very wrong way of taking the sword of the Spirit, hence we have not been able to invade the assailant and his cohorts and see victory repeatedly in our walk with God and our profession faith.

In 1 Timothy 4:13, Apostle Paul instructs his son in the faith that “till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine” and recapitulates in 2 Timothy 2:15 that declares “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth”. Thus indicating that taking the sword of the Spirit entails giving attention to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine, studying, meditating, memorizing and storing up of God's Word in our spirit man. Doing these on a consistent basis long before the adversary and his cohorts’ show up, will put you in a better position to exercise the sword of the spirit.

The Word of God which, you have studied, meditated, and memorized will provide an immediate availability of God's Word which becomes a sword, with which you are able to witness and engage effectively in spiritual warfare when the enemy and his cohorts comes with their onslaught. As you learn to take up the sword of the Spirit and appropriate the other amours of God, let me assure you that no matter the issues of life with regards to everything that concern you and your family, victory shall not elude you in Jesus Name.

“Put on the whole armor of God that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.” Ephesians 6:11-17

In order to be effective and victorious in spiritual warfare there are five major postures for the believer to assume, for it is important to know that this battle is an active one and not passive like most Christians assume it to be. The postures are as follows:

⇨ Verse 11 to stand against; which means to stand in front of and oppose
⇨ Verse 12 to wrestle; means to engage actively on a one-on-one battle
⇨ Verse 13 to withstand; indicates resistance, it also means to be firm and unmovable in encountering oppositions
⇨ Verse 13 to stand; means to be found standing after an active battle
⇨ Verse 14 stand therefore; means to take your stand for the next battle

We have to understand what the sword of the Spirit is. The Word of God is the sword of the Spirit, a most important and effective weaponry in the believer's arsenal. In order to withstand the onslaught of the enemy, it is imperative to understand the assailant and his modus operandi, for the scripture declare “Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices”. 2 Corinthians 2:11

The sword of the Spirit is the Word of God. Erroneously maintaining that the sword of the Spirit is the sword of the Holy Spirit has resulted in our inability to wage war successfully against the enemy of souls. Considering the above text brings clarification to the subject with the understanding that when Apostle Paul enumerated the whole amour of God, his reference was to man and not to the Holy Spirit.

His use of phrases like you, ye, your or we, also indicates that it is our responsibility to appropriate the whole armor of God including the sword of the Spirit which is God's Word. Apparently, we have assumed that the sword of the Spirit to denote the sword of the Holy Spirit. Consequently, the result of this erroneous concept has made us to be spectators rather than participators, as a result waiting on the Holy Spirit to use the sword of the spirit that is available for our use. We often neglect the sword of our spirit as we fight the fight of faith consequently allowing the assailant to get away with his assault on us, our families, finances, Ministries, businesses and any other aspect of our lives that he can access.

Faith versus Fear

Faith will activate the power of God in and through your life and over your circumstances. Faith in God’s Word will enable you to overcome the world. The scripture lets us understand in Hebrew 11:6 that, “But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for He that cometh to God must believe the He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.” Understanding the sequence will enable us properly appropriate God’s Word and possess our God-given inheritance.

The sequence is as follows;

(1) We must come to God,

(2) We must believe that He is; that He is the I am that I am, [the very self-existent God],

(3) Knowing that God is a rewarder and

(4) We must be diligent seekers.

These implies, that faith activates God’s favour upon our lives and as we are the favoured of the Lord impossibilities become possibilities. Fear on the other hand will activate the power of the devil in your life and short cuts you from the life of God. As a matter of fact the devil’s trick is FEAR, which is to make false evidence appear real to you, which will of course paralyse and disorient you; thus putting you in what I call spiritual incarceration. If it goes undetected and disarmed, it will bring about serious consequences in and through your life. Let me, therefore, submit to you that faith is based on God’s Word, while fear is based on your circumstances and insecurities.

Lessons We Learn From Geese. By Author Unknown

Next fall when you see geese heading south for the winter... flying along in V formation...you might consider what science has discovered as to why they fly that way:

Fact 1: As each goose flaps its wings it creates an "uplift" for the birds that follow. By flying in a "V" formation, the whole flock adds 71% greater flying range than if each bird flew alone.

Lesson: People who share a common direction and sense of community can get where they are going quicker and easier because they are traveling on the thrust of one another.

Fact 2: When a goose falls out of formation, it suddenly feels the drag and resistance of flying alone. It quickly moves back into formation to take advantage of the lifting power of the bird immediately in front of it.

Lesson: If we have as much sense as a goose we stay in formation with those headed where we want to go. We are willing to accept their help and give our help to others.

Fact 3: When the lead goose tires, it rotates back into the formation and another goose flies to the point position.

Lesson: It pays to take turns doing the hard tasks and sharing leadership. As with geese, people are interdependent on each other's skills, capabilities and unique arrangements of gifts, talents or resources.

Fact 4: The geese flying in formation honk to encourage those up front to keep up their speed.

Lesson: We need to make sure honking is encouraging. In groups where there is encouragement the production is much greater. The power of encouragement (to stand by one's heart or core values and encourage the heart and core of others) is the quality of honking we seek.

Fact 5: When a goose gets sick, wounded, or shot down, two geese drop out of formation and follow it down to help and protect it. They stay with it until it dies or is able to fly again. Then, they launch out with another formation or catch up with the flock.

Lesson: If we have as much sense as geese, we will stand by each other in difficult times as well as when we are strong.

Obedience, Key to Godly Living Part 1

Obedience Defined:

Ye shall walk after the LORD your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him. Deuteronomy 13:4

Obedience is the willingness to submit to the authority of another and to actually do what one is asked or told to do, whether to God or to a human being. It is also the positive, active response to what a person hears. Obedience therefore, is to observe, to do, to keep and to heed. In scriptures, the word is used repeatedly in the sense of submission to God’s Word, His will and commands. To obey means: to hear and positively heed or respond accordingly. It is imperative to understand that obedience is not perfected without a positive response. Apostle James in his epistle states that, we should be doers of the Word and not hearers only, which indicates obedience as an active response to God’s Word.

Obedience, Key to Godly Living:

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. Joshua 1:8

Here we see Joshua after the death of Moses was entrusted with the responsibility of leading the children of Israel into the promise land, a colossal assignment, a task beyond his capabilities, but God saw and still sees beyond our human frailties. God having communed with Joshua on what He would have him to do. He gave him the final instruction which he was to observe. This instruction was to determine if he would prosper in his ways or not, as well as the successful accomplishment of his given assignment. Consequently, obedience to God’s Word is a vital key to living a godly and victorious life, hence, obedience to God and his word is fundamental in order for us to fulfil God’s will and our individual and collective prophetic destinies. However, it is one thing to hear God’s Word and it is quite another thing to heed that Word. Obedience to God’s Word is one of the greatest demands of God to the patriarchs of old, His chosen people, and still is His demand for us today.

“And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.” Genesis 2:16-17

After the Lord had created man, He placed him in the Garden of Eden and gave him a command to eat of every tree in the garden including the tree of life with the exception of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. It is important to know that, God made provision for man’s wellbeing that was necessary for him to enjoy and live a godly life. God’s command to Adam was to dress and keep the garden, that is, to cultivate and guard the garden from intruders. However, he failed in keeping the garden from the intruder. The intrusion of the enemy and accommodating his lies sabotaged man’s obedience to God’s Word. The same is true for the Christian believer today, if the enemy and his lies are unrestrained, obedience to God’s Word, which was and still is the key to living a godly life and enjoying the fullness of God will be sabotaged. The drama of how our first parents disobeying God’s command (His Word), and the consequences, no doubt reveals to us the inevitable aftermaths that await whoever is cut in this web of satanic manipulation.

God expressly said to Adam the day you eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, you shall surely die, but notice that when Adam ate of the tree he did not die physically in the sense that he no longer existed as it were, but died spiritually being cut off from the source of his livelihood. Thus indicating when you disobey or go contrary to God’s Word you cease to experience and enjoy the miraculous. In the scriptures as well as now, whenever a man disobeys God and His Word, he ceases to enjoy the fruit of God’s labour instead living and hardly surviving with the fruit of his own labour as the case was with Adam. It is conclusively clear that disobeying God’s word cuts us from God’s divine supply.

The scripture declares in Genesis 3:1-3 that: “Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.” What the enemy did was and still is to attack God’s Word and cast doubt in their minds and ours causing us to question the integrity of God’s Word, which ultimately results in disobedience to God’s Word.

Whenever God is about to do something he always prepares, sets apart and positions a vessel or human instrument to bring to pass his intents. This method has not changed overtime or overnight. It is still God’s modus operandi.

In our day and time as we align with God’s purpose for kingdom advancement, it is imperative to understand what preparation and positioning means. Equipping the Saints is all about preparation and positioning for the display of God’s magnificence. If the kingdoms of the earth will be the kingdoms of our God, if the glory of the knowledge of our God will encompass the earth as the waters cover the sea, then the saints must be adequately prepared and positioned for kingdom manifestation in every aspect of life.

The saints will have to be prepared and positioned in the marketplace, which of course, is the combination of business, education and government. Our mission and commission is to make disciples of every nation, it must be understood that the life of a nation consists of business, education and government. Without these arteries, the life of the nations will be stifled.

It is of utmost importance therefore, that the saints be equipped in business, education and government, as we have received the unction to function in making disciples of every nation, which is the work of the ministry and the edification of the body of Christ. Allow me to announce to you that the stage is set for kingdom manifestation. This is the hour to make yourselves available as instruments of righteousness for kingdom advancement.

God's Report Vs. Man's Report

“Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed”? Isaiah 53:1

“Who has believed our message? To whom will the Lord reveal his saving power”? New Living Translation

Whose report will you believe? The New Living Translation puts it thus; Who has believed our message? To whom will the Lord reveal his saving power? Whose message will you believe, God’s or man’s, God’s word or your circumstance. Whose and what report or message you believe will ultimately determine whose arm (strength and power) that will be revealed or manifested on your behalf.

You will find solace in God’s Word knowing that “With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.” Mark 10:27. Consequently, if you believe the report of the Lord, the arm of the Lord, which is the awesome and saving power, His authority, His protection and His mercy will be activated and manifested on your behalf.

Whatever you are going through or your condition in life, whether you’re sick, oppressed, tormented or poor, do not believe man's or doctors' reports or your credit reports or circumstance or man’s opinion and judgment of the situation. As a matter of fact do not believe your own assessment of the situation but believe and tenaciously hold onto God’s report and evaluation of the situation. For God’s report is the final arbiter for whatever you are going through.

The report of the Lord says you are healed, delivered, set free and prosperous. Be bold to align yourself with God’s report by declaring with your mouth and believing in your heart what your mouth confesses.

Secret of Vision

“And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry”. Habakkkuk 2:2-3

In the above text there are three important words that the success of any vision depends upon:

Write the Vision: When God gives a vision it must be written down;
Make it plain: Vision must be made simple and unambiguous so that those that will read will understand it;
Run that readeth: Vision is to be read by the people and this brings impetus which causes the readers to run with the vision.

In order for you and those around you to become successful with the vision, the following guiding principles should be strictly adhered to:

● Setting a clear-cut goal;
● Seeking God’s approval for His project;
● Communicating your vision with people who desire to help;
● Keeping the vision and according to priority over everything else;
● Creating and developing a detailed outline for the vision;
● Recognizing and acknowledging the limitations;
● Identifying and relating to achievers concerned with your vision;
● Being highly organized and time-oriented.

Endeavouring to live a life without a vision is like a ship in the middle of the sea without a compass to help it reach its destination. It is imperative that you catch a vision of what God wants done and how it is to be done and with whom it is to be done. We identify that most people have led their lives in various manners not worthy of emulation. This situation can be primarily attributed to the fact that there was either no vision, loss of vision, or the presence of a desire.

It must be understood from Proverbs 29:18 that a vision brings about the following qualities in the visionary either individually or collectively:

● It brings direction;
● It produces discipline;
● It builds your character;
● Its availability brings about foresight and leadership;
● Its evidence keeps you in expectation;
● It helps create your own structure and style;
● It brings about uniqueness but yet depends on and relate to its source

Creating An Atmosphere Conducive for Development

What is an Atmosphere?

A particular environment or surrounding influence, for example there is an atmosphere of excitement or an atmosphere of doubt. The weather or climate at some place, "the atmosphere was thick with fog" A distinctive but intangible quality surrounding a person or thing, "an air of mystery", "an atmosphere of defeat", or "the place had an aura of romance"

It is imperative that we discover how to create an atmosphere conducive for development. It is my humble conclusion that the will and desire of God for us is to develop. Fulfilling your purpose and destiny in life necessitate that we develop and grow spiritually, mentally and physically. 1 Peter 2:2 declares that “as new born babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby”. In Hebrews 5:14 Paul lets us understand that “But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil”.

The Greek word for Exercise is Gegymnasmena, which indicates how an athlete exercises or trains his body. That means we need to exercise our senses (mental capabilities) to develop by reason of use.

In first Timothy 4:8 the scripture declares that, “For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come”. If you notice, it did not say that bodily exercise does not profit at all but a little. We do certainly need the little profit that bodily exercise provides as we aspire to develop spiritually, mentally and physically.

In other to cultivate an atmosphere for consistent development and growth we must apply ourselves to the following elements:

• The Word of God - 2 Timothy 2:15

• Prayer, Praise and Worship - Philippians 4:6

• Quietness - 1 Peter 3:4; 1 Thessalonians 4:11

• Separation - Proverbs 18:1

• Keeping wise relationships - Proverbs 13:20

• Meditation - Philippians 4:4-9

• Bodily Exercise – 1 Timothy 4:8

• Habitual reading - 1 Tim. 4:13

How To Succeed In Tough Times

I've been noticing and I'm sure you have to, that while many companies and individuals might be struggling, right now, I have found there is also a group of companies and individuals flourishing. I've also noticed, there are some common characteristics found, in these companies and individuals who seem, to be doing well, during some of these uncertain times.
Here are five characteristics that stand out:

1. These companies and individuals operate from a win/win philosophy.

I have learned these companies and individual also inherently value their business relationships (customers, employees and vendors). I have found when you understand and appreciate this principle it allows you to create and receive value both on a short and long-term basis, as well as recognize and be, in line, for new opportunities, that begin, to present themselves.

2. These companies and individuals have an entrepreneurial mindset.

Although, it's true that when a boom is going on the entrepreneur is often leading theway, I've also noticed that when the water is high (things are going good), everything tends to even out (everyone seems to be doing well). However, when it all starts to go south, I have found it is then that entrepreneurs can rise more quickly and distinguish themselves. Their ability to take risks, be decisive, recognize and seize opportunity and to basically "create", allows them to find a way to make things happen.

3. These companies and individuals have an excellent work ethic and focus.

In sports, if you were to ask, who, in their respective sport, has been a dominantfigure, three immediately come, to my mind - Tiger Woods, Michael Jordan andWayne Gretsky. Beyond their remarkable ability and talent, there is also something about these three that helped propel them into greatness - their fierce competitiveness and their incredible work ethic. How do you beat the most talented person in the world when they will also out work you and have a "will to win" that is, not, to be exceeded? I have learned, the same is true, in business. I have found the top performers do not get complacent. They do not rest on their laurels. And they don't decide that because they are doing well or are on top that that is good enough. Their work ethic and drive, to be their personal best, has allowed previous victories and momentum to carry over into more success, even in difficult times.

4. These companies and individuals have made a commitment to succeed.

I have learned that making a decision is the prerequisite to all successes. It has been said, all good things are upstream, but the natural tendency is downstream. Commitment creates the mindset that allows us to face challenges, shut out negative circumstances and discomfort and then move upstream, towards our goals.

5. These companies and individuals operate, out of faith.

Without faith it is impossible to take risk. Without faith it is impossible to make investments of time and effort, in the present, while hoping, for a future reward. And, without faith, it is impossible, to make short-term sacrifices, on a consistent basis. Faith allows you, to be free, to give and be your best, knowing that the reward will manifest itself sometime, in the future. Faith, also allows you to, find the opportunity that often comes disguised, in the form of a problem or challenge. While others are "missing it" or spending their time and energy complaining, the person or company of faith is identifying and seizing new opportunities.

So, I have a question. How do you rate yourself, in these five areas, above? I would estimate, much of where you find yourself, today, could be directly related, to how well you have fared, the past few years, in regards, to the five points above.

The good news is, today, is a new day, a new opportunity. Finally, I want you, to know, that I love hearing all the testimonials and success stories from our associates.

A Great Story

Once upon a time there was a bunch of tiny frogs.... who arranged a running competition. The goal was to reach the top of a very high tower. A big crowd had gathered around the tower to see the race and cheer on the contestants....The race began....

Honestly: No one in crowd really believed that the tiny frogs would reach the top of the tower. You heard statements such as:

"Oh, WAY too difficult!!"

"They will NEVER make it to the top." or:

"Not a chance that they will succeed"

"The tower is too high!"

The tiny frogs began collapsing. One by one.... Except for those, who in a fresh tempo, were climbing higher and higher....The crowd continued to yell, "It is too difficult!!! No one will make it!"

More tiny frogs got tired and gave up.... But ONE continued higher and higher and higher.... This one wouldn't give up! At the end everyone else had given up climbing the tower. Except for the one tiny frog who, after a big effort, was the only one who reached the top! THEN all of the other tiny frogs naturally wanted to know how this one frog managed to do it?

A contestant asked the tiny frog how he had found the strength to succeed and reach the goal? It turned out.... That the winner was DEAF!!!!

The wisdom of this story is: Never listen to other people's tendencies to be negative or pessimistic.... because they take your most wonderful dreams and wishes away from you -- the ones you have in your heart!

Always think of the power words have. Because everything you hear and read will affect your actions! Therefore: ALWAYS be....POSITIVE! And above all: Be DEAF when people tell YOU that you cannot fulfill your dreams!

Kaizen is a Japanese management term referring to constant, continuous and never ending improvement. Anthony Robbins calls this concept CANI which stands for Constant And Never Ending Improvement. There is no pursuit more venerable than the pursuit of self improvement. Self-improvement begins with your born again spirit, your mind, as you consistently renew it with God’s word. Consistent and constant pursuit of improvement in all areas of your life is indispensable in the attainment of your true potential.

The personal mark of almost every high achiever and successful people is a daily dedication to improvement in both personal and professional lives. To be effective you have to do things daily and consistently and not haphazardly so as to advance congruently in the direction of your goals, ultimate purpose and destiny.

Nuggets For Dynamic Living

As we precipitate toward our destinies in God, and aspiring to fulfil God's plans and purposes on the earth, we must constantly metamorphose (that is to develop gradually, especially from a simple to a more sophisticated form) not just externally but internally as God is progressively revealing divine truths to us. Translating these truth into dynamic spiritual force for our lives is of utmost importance. I would love to refer to this truth as “Nuggets”. The word nuggets, means invaluable information/wisdom, as well as a piece of valuable metal found in the earth. I strongly believe that if we are going to press toward the mark of our highest calling, that there are nuggets in God’s Word that we need to translate into a dynamic spiritual force, as we pursue after God, according to pattern.

It is not your responsibility neither is it within your human capacity to make happen what God said He would do.

Examine Genesis 12:1-3

In the text above, God, instructs Abram to get out of his land of nativity to a land that he will show him. God then lets him understand what he was going to do in and through his life. It is imperative that you take into cognizance the content of God’s word.

Let us outline here the intents of God and what he said he will do;-
I will make thee a great nation;-
I will bless (empower) thee;-
I will make your name great and you shall be a blessing (an empowerment);-
I will bless them that bless thee;-
I will curse them that curse you:-
In thee shall all thee shall all the families of the earth be blessed.
Examine Genesis 15:1-6
Abram was worried that he had no child and that the steward in his house Eliezer was going to be his heir without a seed. You see whenever things don’t seem like it ought to be you must recline on the fact that God has a plan. The Lord responded to Abram saying no the one born in your house shall not be your heir but the seed that shall come out of your bowels shall be your heir. God brought him out to number the stars if he could, and likened his posterity to the number thereof.
Examine Genesis 16:1-5
It is evident that until now Abram and his wife have waited for so long for the promised child without any visible manifestation. They therefore, decided to help God with an alternative and Sarai hatched a plan to help God out his dilemma. Well this is were most of us are, when we can no longer tarry for the oracles of God to manifest in our lives, our families and enterprises, we come up with our own man made plans and ideas in order to achieve that which only God is able to do exceedingly according to his power at work in us.

This, then brings us to our nugget for today, which states that, “It is not your responsibility, neither is it within your human ability to make happen what Jehovah has declare to do”. You notice right from the texts above, that all the things that God spoke to Abram, none was within is ability neither was it his responsibility to accomplish, it was God’s. Whatever condition you find yourself in, and the numbers of years that you have been in it, please, understand that He that has began a good work in you will accomplish it, for with God all things are possible, for God is not a man that should lie. Don’t try to help God bring to pass what he said he will do, for every word that proceed out of his mouth, shall not return to him void until it prospers in that which it was sent.

Be encouraged and hold on to that which God has spoken concerning you, knowing that it is God’s responsibility and ability to bring to pass what he say he will do, for in due season there shall be a manifestation. Shalom

Fear: “The Devil’s Tool”

Fear, will activate the power of the devil in your life and short-cut you from the life of God. As a matter of fact, the devil’s trick is FEAR, which is to make false evidence appear real to you, which will of course paralyse and disorient you; thus, putting you in a state that I refer to as spiritual incarceration. If it goes undetected, it will bring about serious consequences in and through your life. Fear is based and feeds on your circumstances and insecurities.

“Why is light given to a man whose way is hid, and whom God hath hedged in? For my sighing cometh before I eat, and my roarings are poured out like the waters. For the thing, which I greatly feared, is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.” Job 3: 23-25.

On examining the above scriptural passage, we discover that brother Job appears to have been entertaining fear in his heart before the devil’s assault on his life and his entire household. Understand this one thing, that the devil knows he would not have been able to besiege Job and his entire household, as long as the hedge of protection was in place and undamaged.

In his (devil) discourse with God, he said, “Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.” Job 1:10. This suggestively postulates the fact that the devil had tried in so many ways and supposedly at different periods to destroy Job’s life, only to discover that there was a hedge roundabout him. The scripture lets us understand that “As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about his people from henceforth even forever.” Psalm 125:2.

Apparently, Job was ignorant of this timeless truth, like many believers today, but as long as the hedge of protection is roundabout you, you are walking by faith and in obedience to God’s Word, be irrefutable of the truth that the devil knows that he will not and cannot touch you or anything that concerns you.
