Equity Action accepts applications on a rolling basis for small grants, requests up to $2,500, for short-term projects or one-time activities.

The 2012 grant application deadline has past for a project and capacity-building grant. Please check back in 2013 for information on this grant program that seeks to build the capacity of organizations that play a vital and unique role in the LGBTQ communities.

Thank you to Powers Pub in Pawtuxet Village for hosting a fundraiser for Equity Action. The evening featured a silent auction, Michael Mourachain on piano, and the generous donation of 20% of the night's proceeds to Equity Action.

April 15: application deadline for Project and Capacity-Building Grants

Nonprofit organizations that improve the quality of life of LGBTQ Rhode Islanders are encouraged to apply for a Project and Capacity-Building Grant from Equity Action. Application deadline is April 15. Please note there no longer is a fall deadline for this program; apply now.
