So, as many of you know I am now living in England for the next month. I forgot to get my internet roaming on and I had a bit of trouble getting it... I am now going to start posting again on a daily basis

Today, I present you with 2 wallpapers that fit my new laptop's higher resolution. Please, gimme your feedback on both of them. Hope you like'em.

So, last night me and a couple of friends did LSD... Pretty wicked, really pretty fucking wicked... Speaking to colours is one of the best things you can do with your life... That or win the loterry xD
So this morning I woke up completely naked and I found my source of inspiration for todays post... No it has nothing to do with my long gorgeous penis. As I usually do when I'm tripping like I did yesterday I tend to put some Beatles/MGMT playing. And then I got a phrase by one of John Lennon's song that got somehow catchy: "And we all shine on" Because each and everyone of us has some kind of thing that makes us special, because we can all shine (if not at the world's eyes maybe at our friend's eyes or our families eyes) I guess that what that sentence from Instant Karma is trying to say is that we are all special in our own way...

So ladys and gentlemen, this is not my regular art, I tried some vectors this morning, still I think it came out pretty good.

Here it is... I hope you all like it. I put up the peace symbol as tribute to Lennon (☮) and the Yin Yang as an attempt to express that balance is needed like all things.

Anyone likes the Beatles ? They are one of my favourite bands, I love how they make songs while doing acids and still make them sound lirically correct, John Lennon, as you might know, is one of them and in my opinio the one of the most talented musicians of all times... Enough with the Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber bullshit... So here is my tribute to a true legend !

Cannabis

With so many drugs being discussed here you wouldn't think I'd forget Cannabis would you ?
Here are two pieces of GFX I've done a while ago, both about cannabis =)

Oh and congratulations to the guys in California for having the law on this great plant passed. If I got it right, you guys can now smoke unless you're driving or a child is present ? Personally I think that part of the child is dumb, we were all children and we found about cannabis one way or the other... Wouldn't it be much safer to make a law saying: You can't smoke cigarretes in front of children.
In my opinion that'd make alot more sense. Anyway, give me your feedback on these works and also on what you think about California's new law... Personally, I'm jelous.

Crappy and Antique GFX #1: Photofiltre

I found my old photobucket account and I've felt so much nostalgia that I tought I should share it with you guys... And to accompain this nostalgic/comic momment, I give you Obadiah Parker

I'm going to divide this on 3 parts and in the next 3 days, you'll have a glimpse of what I used to be and compare it to what I am now... Here it is my old GFX Art, part 1: "Photofiltre"

My first signature, still had no idea whatsoever of renders.

This one actually looks nice, simplistic... I had no idea of what I had done..

Possibly, my first GFX Art, made with Photofiltre only.

My first wallpaper (At least looks like it)... Made with the god dammed Photofiltre when I had no idea of what a render was.

I actually remember using this thing as an wallpaper, tough you gotta admit, the Trunks above the text looks badass...

I dare you to make anything better !

Fresh work... After my post on shrooms and seeing that Outlands have been getting some votes for the most liked World of Warcraft continent, I decided to post one of my favourite zones of the game... Artisticly, of course...

I took the screenshots and I took some time doing this, I understand it's not my usual work with Inversions and blurrings and it's not that colorful either, but hey, I'm just giving it a try...

Since most of my followers seem to like mushrooms quite a bit... Here it is Zangarmarsh

I did mushrooms 2 years ago, I bought a growkit and me and a friend did them... I saw a wise elephant comming out of the wood in my closet, we spoke alot ^^

Who the hell never wondered what would feel like taking a trip to LSD-land ? Man, I created this GFX art firstly as an wallpaper for my former flat screen, but soon became one of my favourite screensaver for those "tough times" if you all know what I mean...

Drugs have such an huge role to play in modern days life, LSD, Cannabis, Ecstasy, Cocaine, Cacti, Salvia...

Photofiltre Review

This is the best free digital image editor for Windows PCs that is available out there bar none. I don't know how I have been missing this tool, but you can be sure that, if you are a non-technical user, this is the only software you will need to do 99% of your digital image editing tasks.

Photofiltre, as this digital image editing is named, is the brainchild of Antonio Da Cruz and Benjamin Fournier who have done a wonderful job in creating a simple, easy-to-use tool. This is a perfect tool for anyone with some basic familiarity with digital imaging who wants to avoid getting into the complexity and price tag of Photoshop orPaint Shop Pro.

Photofiltre does most everything one would need and then some more:

file format conversion
batch editing operations
manual and automatic selections
selection of editing paths
antialiasing
over 100 pre-set image filters
resizing, cropping, rotating
masks
transparency
multiple undos
multiple images open at the same time
integration of text into an image

The interface is straightforward with a toolbar that compromises most frequently used functionalities under easy to recognize icons.

After a few minutes of familirization Photofiltre feels smooth and intuitive as you one would expect it to be. The program loads fast and performs without hesitations.

Commands and menus are all laid ut according to familiar conventions and popular standards established by the more popular tools in this sector. Finding commands and controls is therefore extremely simple as just about everything is located where you expect to find it.

The array of default filters (without considering the optional plugins) is truly impressive and it offers everything you would expect from a professional imaging application.

The automatic conversion and batch editing facility is worth per se some attention, as it can see many a task, especially when dealing with large groups of images comign from a digital camera shoot. You can not only convert in one click hundreds of images from JPG to TIF, but you can slso crop, brighten, apply filters, resize and do a vast number of all images unattended thanks to this great mini-app.

If you wonder what Photofiltre doesn't do the answer is easy: layers. Though image editing pundits will disagree, I personally find that this limitation, in the face of providing a free and easy-to-use tool that anyone can use, can only be considered a plus.

While for many years I have strongly recommended and used IrfanView (free) for most of my basic digital image editing tasks and Serif Photo Plus 5.5 (free), I must admit that I have switched to Photofiltre in no time at all. I would sincerely recommend Photofiltre to any non-technical user needing to work with digital images. At this price level there is really little else that can do this much.

Highly Recommended.

Hello, this is actually my first blog on design.

I am a 23 college student and I do these mostly as a hobbie !

By posting some of my work here on a daily basis I hope I can get some feedback on my work and how to improve it.
