<p>The bottom line is that the traditional blogging method of talking at your audience for 1,000+ words without taking a breath is not only paint drying boring for me, but just isn&#8217;t something I can sustain.</p>
<p>For about a year and a half I consistently maintained <a href="http://motivatethyself.com/" target="_self">Motivate Thyself</a> with new posts every week or more, many of which easily exceeded the 2k word mark.  And while I feel it was a good exercise of patience and self discipline and I meant every word I said, I just never felt this style was me&#8230;AT ALL.</p>
<p>So I&#8217;m going to be experimenting with short (and sometimes quite random) posts, with a wide range of content types and layouts (using the flexibility of <a href="http://catalysttheme.com/" target="_self">Catalyst</a>).  The key will be to figure out a way to do this while still providing useful information to my readers.  We will see&#8230;</p>
