I’ve been training hard but I didn’t expect to finish in top 3 !!
… I have to say that Abel and Helmut (Belway Paddle Surfing and Magma Custom Boards) have done a sick job, shaping days and night during 10 days to build the 2 prototypes we’ve been using during the 1rst Jever SUP World CUP in Hamburg.

Another day in Fuerteventura, SUP paradise !!

Lobos Island…

Lobos is a small island in the channel between Fuerteventura and Lanzarote…

All began this morning, after breakfast I checked the north shore, light onshore wind and tiny waves but still ok for a SUP session… I went out for 1h30 or so and drove back home…
Then I called Abel to talk about the Jever world cup…It was without expecting he would offer me to join him to paddle around Lobos… I’m new in Fuerteventura and I thought it would be a great experience !

And it has been great, the round trip from Corralejo is about 15km, the island’s shore are beautifull with plenty of wild life, the only bummer was the head wind accelerated by the mountain that we had to cop with… I’ll have a good sleep tonight !

Thanks to Abel (Belway paddles) for the trip and Oxbow SUP center Fueteventura for the board

Awesome week end in North Finistere for the North Point Stand Up Paddle Classic 2009 !
