Heynow! For the past few months, I've been making Celebrity Prayer Candles and selling them on Etsy. At first I started making Dolly Parton and other celebrities. Dolly was a big hit until one of her lawyers emailed Etsy and got my post removed. Oh well, it happens. It's all in good fun and parody. Here are all the Celebrity Prayer Candles I have made so far:

HEYNOW! I forgot that I've also done some tattoo edits or ideas that I might get or I think that are cool looking, let's go:

Hyenow! Since the last few posts have been "for sale" stuff, I'd like to post sold stuff. I've done a lot of paintings and projects that I haven't showcased so here it goes:

Bowie

This one isn't a sold painting but it's my dog. In a previous post I did an acrylic pour on another plaque. I got those two plaques at a goodwill. I wanted to paint my favorite pup.

Chicago Bears - Wall Mounted Bottle Opener

This was present I gave my brother, Casey, for Christmas a year to two ago. I had an idea to make something and I thought my brothers would appreciate it.

I made this one for my brother, Sean, for Christmas.

I sold this one not too long ago to a guy in Brooklyn. Nice guy, I think he said he was going to hang it up in his startup company.

I did three of these paintings but I messed up and touched the third one. That's one thing a hate about myself is the "too much" gene. If I do a painting and I don't like it, I start to keep messing around with it and it goes no where and I just wasted paint and time. Anyway I was proud of these two paintings. I used the string pull technique and I like doing those. The next time I do a painting, I'll try and do a silhouette / string pull floral painting. I sold one of these to my sis-in-law Ashley.

Falcon Rising - Acrylic Pour / Silhouette painting on a vinyl record

As you can tell, I'm a big Star Wars fan and I did the Millennium Falcon. I tried to find the correct colors to use. (Tan and yellow for the sandy exterior, green for the blasters, red for some detail exterior). It came out great and someone recently bought it.

A simple ship, a good little painting for the game room.

Jimi Hendrix - Acrylic Pour / Silhouette painting

I'm not sure if I've posted this one before but whatever. This one I added glow in the dark paint for all the white parts and the green and pink are glow in the dark too. I had this hanging in my bedroom over my lamp so when I went to bed, I turned off the light and Jimi lit up. I kinda miss seeing it.

Honestly, the canvas was a flook. I started doing the string pull and I had enough paint to do another one and I had a used canvas left. My best work is the one on vinyl (I think). I sold both of those to a lady on eBay and she sent me a message that was so nice, I sent her a bonus gift. It was probably the nicest thing someone has said about my paintings. Also, I like to draw doodles on the back of each of the paintings I do so if you have one, you might want to check it out, idk. Also I sign them all.

I gave this one to my Niece because my mom mentioned that she liked it.

Heynow! For a while now I've been saving the hot sauce packets from KFC & Taco Bell and I decided to put them all in an empty Tabasco bottle. I cleaned up the bottle and added a new label called "Hot Packets!"

I think I did a pretty good job of a little project but it tastes pretty good, especially on pizza. I'm a hot sauce boy for life. Later peeps

Recently, someone messaged me on Etsy to do a commission of a heart. So I did some research and found a heart that they liked. Then I decided "since she wants one, maybe other people might want one" so I made multiple.

Acrylic Pour Paintings on Vinyl Records (Upcycle)

Heynow! I've done a lot of pours now on vinyl records and it's a good area to paint. It's pretty cheap for a boxset of four records for $2. Then again you do need to add a frame to hold it together. Here are some paintings that are still available in my Etsy Shop:

Color Chaos

Previously untitled, I decided to add layers of different color pours and take off the painters tape to show the best parts of each pour. There are three different color layers on there.

Indian Corn

This was one of the first pours on vinyl. I also tried to use silicone oil to have the affect of cells in rows. The colors remind me of Indian corn (red, yellow, & purple).

Lava Rose

This a new one, I haven't posted it on Esty yet but I need to take some more photos of this one. I used painters tape and a stencil for this one. A lot of times I'll apply painters tape to the record, draw out the stencil and then use a utility knife to take off the inside stencil. Apply the pour, wait for it to dry and then peel off the rest of the tape. Applying a resin finish is more expensive but worth it. It makes it pop and show off the colors more.

Miss Mind

A silhouette of Leia again but on vinyl. It's a subtle silhouette but once you see it in person, you can tell a difference. I really like this one.

Solo Jazz

I really liked these colors. It reminds me of the 90's solo cups with the same name.

Winter Daisy

Another new one that hasn't been posted yet on my Etsy shop. I used glow in the dark green paint in the middle. For the pour I used: red, orange, white, and yellow but the red really dominated this piece.

Acrylic Pour Paintings on Canvas / Wood

The slightly lighter paint is glow in the dark.

It looked a lot better when I poured it because it was white colored but once it dried, it became translucent. It looks good under a black light but in the day light, not so much.

Northern Lights

Psychedelic Sherbet

I upcycled this goodwill find and it looks like the superman ice cream so that's why I like the title of this one.

The Mandalorian

I was excited to make a Mandalorian painting before season 1 came out and I'm still invested in it during season 2. A great show and a great painting.

Perennial Millennial

A confusing name but it rhymes.

Another upcycle from goodwill. This was a plaque to mount a deer head so I did a pour using the string pull technique. I've done a few of those and they have turned out great. I'll probably do some more and adding a silhouette.

Wonka

The colors remind me of a Wonka candy bar from the movie "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory".

Big Blue Nation

I cut this piece of plywood out in the shape of my state and had no idea what to do with it. I also routed the outside shape to make it have dimension. After I did that, I decided to do a pour and this is how it ended up.

Halloween Cat

This is another upcycle from goodwill. I found this thought it was a cool shape to do a pour on. At the time, it was around Halloween so I used Halloween colors (orange, purple, black).

Emerald Starburst

This is probably my favorite so far. Mainly because I applied a resin finish to it but the glittery paint I used sets it off! This was also my first time using the lazy susan to spin the canvas and get a galaxy feel to it.

Heynow, it has been quite a while since I last updated. It's October 15th and it's gonna be my two year anniversary with my wife. We still have the house and right after our honeymoon, we got a dog Bowie. At first it was hard for me to be around "pup" because of my allergies but now it's leveled out. I did some artwork of her that I'll show here. My wife and I will be going to Dollywood this weekend because her work gets tickets for their employees. Then on Sunday, the movie theater will be showing Beetlejuice. Anyway, I've been creatively rejuvenated. I've been doing some woodworking, painting, and lately Acrylic Pouring. I've been mixing Silhouette and Acrylic Pouring together to come up with some interesting artwork. I'm very proud of what I've done so far and the process is relaxing and more spontaneous. What I would think is a mistake is someone else's masterpiece, I guess. I just have fun doing it. I've got two other idea's for "Silhouette Pours". The Mandalorian and I found a wooden cat frame and I'm gonna pour Halloween colors on it. Holly's and I's anniversary is coming up soon so she said not to pour anything yet so I'm guessing she got me some supplies. Anyway, it's been a long time since I last updated and I'll try my best to update every month or week depending on if I have any good content. I'll probably break up some of the photos into sections so it's not all there. I wish I could record in a podcast style on here and upload artwork. Maybe I can figure that out later. Lately, I've been working from home on Fridays, which I LOVE, so maybe do the audio on Friday's and upload that. Anywho, that's all for now. Later peeps.

That's what I've been up to creatively. Personally, Holly and I have bought a house together and we are in the process of moving in. We bought appliances Saturday, went curtain rod and curtain showing Sunday, and then did miscellaneous stuff for the house Labor Day Monday. Thursday I'll be taking off work to get movers to move in all our stuff. It's gonna be stressful but over time it will work in the end and we'll be happier for it. For the first time in our lives, we can call some thing big our own. The next biggest step is marriage in October and I can't wait for that. Pixel Art For Sale!!!

Heynow! Lately I've been into wood working and now I've figured out a cool way to add painting to it, Pixel Art. I've seen some other posts on Etsy and said to myself "I can do that" so I did. Finding the wood and the right thickness is a little weird in my area. I don't have a Lowes or a Home Depot around unless I drive an hour to get it. I do have an 84 Lumber close by. So the first time I got AN 1/8" luan plywood that is used for flooring (I think) then gridded out a design for a:

At the time, I didn't have any tools so I had to drive to my parents to work on it. There was one week where I had to dog sit and I was happy to work on it. Of course for the first time, it was a learning experience. Since the first one, it's been a blur of which piece came next and how much wood I've bought but it's been fun from my parents carport to my apartment kitchen cutting out the edges of wood onto a piece of tarp on the ground. There are some piece that have sold but some are still up for sale and I have a few more ideas coming but here's what all I've made:
