Success story of every show lies with the director, where the TRP ratings will reflect the same. Recently some shows gained better momentum with regards to the ratings but abruptly the ratings went down. Of that “Abhimani” (Kathi Lanti Game Show) programmed in Etv is the one which gained a rating of 5.5 now running at 1.5, reason behind is as, the program was hijacked from the then director by a well known director having experience of developing 150+ movies in the industry. He delivers the best speeches of supporting the small and talented technical people in the industry for leading them to success. Story:
Mallanna (L B Sriram) makes living as a carpenter in a village. As he could not meet both ends with his earnings, he tries to find employment in the city and gives 75 thousand rupees to some one (Sekhar) introduced by the village head and gets cheated. He goes to the city in search of the cheat. Encounter specialist Saxena (Ashish vidyardhi) promises employment and traps them. He makes up as Muslim terrorists and kills them in an encounter.

As Mallanna does not return, his wife and children come to the city in search of him. Vikram (Kamalakar) and Circle Inspector Nanda Gopal (Sai Kumar) find them and on enquiry find that it was through fake encounter that Mallanna was killed. They try to expose the fact.

CI Nandagopal gets entangled in problems because of a conspiracy by the Home Minister and Saxena. How Nandagopal and Vikram face the conspiracy and unravel facts are rest of the story to be watched on the screen.

Performances:

Sai Kumar has performed well as CI, his tummy and his over acting looked awkward. L B Sriram has acted exceeding well as Mallanna. Kamalakar, Ashish Vidyardhi and others acted as per their roles.

Analysis:

Cinematography is not good. Songs are not catchy. There is no efficient display in any other technical field. There is nothing new in the subject. Director has failed to make the subject interesting to the present generation. The skin show of the item girl in the remixed song Vangathota Malupu kada is routine stuff.

Dev's Verdict: ‘Sanchalanam’ (Sensation) was no where found in the film, excepting in the title. May be it would create sensation as the most boring film.

Will Ileana once again rule Tollywood?

‘Sakti’ Ileana has acted with NTR and ‘Nenu Na Rakshasi’ she costarred with Rana were both super flops. With this, the Goan beauty has earned the dubious distinction of being the Iron Lady in Tollywood. Puri Jagannath has named her Rakshasi (demon) in ‘Nenu Naa Rakshasi’ and that title appears to have come to stay. Producers and directors are fearing to give a chance to this demon.

Doubts are now being expressed that she might once again sway the Telugu industry. She was selected for the film ‘Honey’ with Bunny in the lead role. If this film becomes hit, Ileana would once again become a name in the Tollywood film industry.

However at the same time, if the film flops, she might disappear. Whether she would regain her stardom or go into oblivion would be decided with the film.

Swetha Basu kicking career for addictions

Kalyan's Kaali coming in December

Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s tentatively titled Kaali, which is presently progressing at Pollachi in Tamil Nadu, will hit screens in December. Earlier, the film was slated for release during Deepavali season.

The film is directed by Tamil director Vishnuvardhan and produced by Neelima Thirumalsetty and Shobu Yarlagadda under the banner of Sangamithra Arts and Arka Media.

Sarah Jane Dias is the heroine. Anjali Lavania is the second heroine. Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff, Atul Kulkarni and Sesh Adivi of Karma fame appear in key roles. Yuvan Shakar Raja is composing the music.

Veteran Telugu actor Mohan Babu's daughter and actress-producer Lakshmi Prasanna, well knowns for her talk show 'Lakshmi Talk Show' in Zee Telugu TV, 'Prematho Mee Lakshmi' in ETV and her negative role in her debut Telugu film Anaganaga O Dheerudu, has signed her first Bollywood film.

It was revealed by Lakshmi Prasanna in Twitter. "Signed a Bollywood film. Superrrr thrilled! Details soon. Thanq for all your love. Dreams do come true," she tweeted. More details are awaited.

Lakshmi Prasanna is currently producing a socio-fantasy Oo Kodathara Ulikki Padathara with her brother Manoj in the lead role.

Temple Authorities deny permission for Prabhu Deva's Film

Prabhu Deva, who’s currently shooting Vishal, Sameera Reddy starrer Vedi, got a rude shock in Kolkata when a famous temple’s authorities denied permission to shoot few scenes in the temple. Apparently, Vedi film unit landed in Dakshineshwar Temple in Kolkata; however the staff at the temple claimed that their application to shoot at the temple was incomplete. The film unit hadn’t mentioned about the duration of the shoot and whether it was a commercial film or for a non-commercial purpose. After losing almost half a day, the film unit shifted to a park nearby to complete rest of the shoot for the day. The film is a remake of a Telugu film, Shouryam which had Gopichand, Anushka in lead roles.

Although he’s not playing any character in the film, he has given a voice over for the villain’s introduction scene in the film. Story:
Karthik (Nani) is brought up by his elder brother Balaji who wants him to be educated. Their mother has committed suicide and they are deserted by the father. They hate their father as he is responsible for their mother’s death. The brothers are given shelter by Sekhar a painter. Karthik is friendly with Sekhar’s daughter Revathi (Nitya Menen) and another boy Vishnu whose father is a two-wheeler mechanic.. Jyothi, father of Karthik and Balaji, operates a brothel and has aims to become a don. There is Ammaji, a lady drug peddler and a don in her own right.

Vishnu falls in love with Veena (Bindu Madhavi) who is a prostitute in the custody of Karthik’s father. Vishnu agrees to be a drugs courier as he wants to buy the freedom of Veena with the money. Karthik and Vishnu embark on the delivery of the drugs package when Veena warns them of danger to their lives. Karthik and Vishnu abort their courier mission. And then Vishnu is found murdered and Karthik is arrested for the crime.
Will Karthik come out of the murder rap? What will happen to Revathi? Will Balaji help his brother? What is the role of the father of Karthik and Balaji? Answers to these questions lead to a listless and foggy climax.

Performances:
Nani has performed as if his mind is on an auto-pilot in a role where he is more like a zombie.
Nitya Menen is subdued as is required by her role. Bindi Madhavi does not have sufficient footage to express herself. Karthik Kumar is intense in essaying his role. All others fit the bill.

Analysis: Director Anjana weaves a story that is pretty close to reality and has also created the characters that many can find in the society. The story is more of a crime thriller and the screenplay makes the narration swift. The dialogues are sloppy. Music is ok and is secondary in importance. Cinematography is good and so is the audiography.

Dev's Verdict: Sega is a disappointing experience. The film appears to justify patricide which is ethically unacceptable. There are no entertainment values. It is a sorry tale of a few shoddy characters in society. The film is realistic, but of what use it is when it makes the viewers depressed?

Finally, CCS zeroed on the creator of hugely popular site ihatebalayy.com. The site had lot of jokes on Nandmuri Balakrishna accompanied by Junior NTR.

Few months ago, Balakrishna lodged a complaint with CCS police, who acted swiftly on the site and immediately closed it. Now, the creator of ihatebalayya.com located. His name is Attili Rajendra Reddy presently staying in Sydney, Australia.

Rajender Reddy is from Gudur in Mahabubnagar district. The sameb person allegedly created ihatechiru.com.
With due respects to Balayya, the site had some hilarious jokes. All good things must come to an end.
