The Star Of The New Boemian Gastarbeiter Opera Is In Jail!

Patrick Bongola aka TOPOKE was imprisoned today, Monday, 8 am. He participated on january 19th in a demonstration against a chartered deportation and ended up inside the encirclement of the police.
He was fined with a administrative penalty, which he, as musician and family father, is not willing to pay.
TOPOKE went to jail for the people´s right to demonstrate. He knows, he will come out – and do so soon. He went into the prison he demonstrated in front of. He will be out and tell us about those who can´t. Those, who remain speechless in our country all the time. We have to take his act of courage as a duty for us come to the immigrationholding centre (Anhaltezentrum) and strongly support his efforts.

Zvijezda opere New BOEMIAN GASTARBEITER OPERA se nalazi u zatvoru! 

Patrick Bongola zvani TOPOKE bio je uhapšen u ponedjeljak u 8.00. Razlog je u tome što je 19.01.2012 učestvovao u demonstraciji protiv deportacija azilanata, gdje ga je policija registrovala.

Dobio je administrativnu kaznu, koju odbija da plati, budući da je muzičar i ima porodicu.

TOPOKE je pristao na to da ode u zatvor, da bi se na taj način borio za slobodu demonstriranja. On je svjestan toga da će uskoro biti otpušten iz zatvora.

On je otišao tačno u onaj zatvor, ispred kojeg je demonstrirao. Kad izadje, ispričaće nam o onima koji nemaju mogućnost da izadju. Oni, koji će u našoj zemlji zauvijek ostati bez glasa. Njegova hrabrost obavezuje i nas da se skupimo ispred zatvora i da mu pružimo podršku.

In dem Dokumentarfilm “oder Österreich” kommen Menschen aus verschiedensten Arbeitssituationen zu Wort, welche Wien als neuen Ort ihres Lebensmittelpunktes gewählt haben. Die Akteure aus unterschiedlichen Kulturkreisen (ImmigrantInnen) schildern ihren persönlichen Blick auf Österreich, konfrontiert mit ihren Begegnungen in und mit der Österreichischen Gesellschaft, und auch mit ihrer eigenen Herkunft. In humorvollen, aber auch ernsten Episoden spiegelt sich das alltägliche Auf und Ab der Gefühle. Zitat aus dem Film: “Ich war immer Asli und plötzlich war ich die Türkin”.

wir blieben dem Prolococktail treu! Am Freitag abend, machen wir den Prolococktail in der Gallerie, und es wird einen sehr speziellen Länderkampf geben. Das Fussballspiel wird zur lustigsten Nebensache des Abends, den es stehen sich wahrlich Titanen gegenüber. Oder so ähnlich.

Since years i love their music and I’m really glad that they will visit again Vienna. I really hope that they can rock our space, and that we’ll have a great
party. We tend to do the party on the 26th of Feb, 22:00, at our BOEM* Gallery and maybe we make it happen, that we can have a presentation about
recent emancipatoric struggles by members of the roma community from Belgrade. Would be a good way to combine music and activists for that evening.
In the last years, Shazalakazoo was as well very active in supporting repatriated roma kids to integrate them into Belgrades cultural live, which believe
me isn’t an easy task.

Actually it’s a struggle for survival. emancipatoric is already an euphemism.
