ANYTIME you begin ANY natural products you really need to give it a MINIMUM of 3 months! On top of those 3 months, if you have struggled with a particular issue, you need to add 1 month for every year you have lived with this issue. If you have dealt with it for 6 years, then you need to add 6 months to the 3 months, which ends up being 9 months.

I'm so sad for people who quit after 1-2 months and say that Plexus didn't work. It isn't a magic solution...it's a tool. Plexus products don't cure anything, what they do is balance blood sugar, improve gut health and reduce inflammation!

Once you wake up the sleeping giant (aka your immune system) that's when things start happening! If your body needs to clean house, then LET IT! Maybe you're someone who rolls your eyes at another person whose "life was changed" by Plexus..?? But I can relate to this guy! I remember looking in the mirror over two years ago and barely recognizing the eyes looking back at me! It's amazing what brain fog does to you! And how different you feel when that brain fog is gone!!!
"The before picture was taken on Christmas Eve. The after picture was taken today. My son, Ben has been on ProBio 5 for 2 weeks now. I cannot begin to tell you the transformation that has taken place!!!
After researching [yeast] overgrowth I realized that he had it, and had it bad. He does not have a colon and has struggled for years with physical and emotional issues. T4 is your storage thyroid hormone. It must be "converted" into T3. (triiodothyronine) This is uber science-y and complicated. But basically it drops from 4 iodine molecules to 3 iodine molecules. This T3 hormone is your active (think strong man) thyroid hormone needed for every cellular process in your body!
When you take a medication like Synthroid (levothyroxine) you are giving your body T4 hormone only. Your body has to take that synthetic version of the hormone and convert it into T3. The problem is that many, many, many people are not good at conversion. There are a lot of things that can cause problems with conversion. This is the reason your physician needs to look at your Free T4, Free T3 and Reverse T3 levels when they test your thyroid."

I was called the Kefir queen when I was at my height of teaching classes on gut health! I was totally convinced that I did not need a probiotic. I now know different! What is your life worth? I mean really. At some point you have to choose to want to change. Or you can stay in the cycle you are in. You can just wait until you are so fat and tired and sick and eventually dead that you don’t have to make a choice. Life will make one for you. It’s called D.E.A.D. You are currently breathing, reading this so you have the ability to make a choice to better your life. You have the control too. Plexus may not work for everyone, but the majority of people that use it get some benefits from it and if you don’t then you have 60 days to get your money back. If I was still 329lbs, like I was, I would be trying everything until I found the answer. I even tried surgery and now I still use Plexus as a tool for my health. So back to the matter at hand, how do you afford it?

I have blogged many times that when my husband and I both started, I thought I didn’t have two dimes to rub together. Well I was determined. I was day 4 in on a 7 day trial pack and I had to keep going. I didn’t just have myself to pay for I had to pay for TWO supplies for both of us. Now talk to me about money. I have always hated people like Suze Orman. Watching her show was so infuriating! People asking, “Can I afford it. We spend all this money on all these things and we are broke, waahhh.” It is so irritating she is telling them to dump their bottled water or even worse time share so they can buy the new car and I was over here like I can’t even afford to send my child to daycare so I can work. Well when it came to Plexus I knew the benefits I was feeling just couldn’t end. So what did I do? What can you do? Make it a priority and LOOK at your budget. Keep in mind these changes don’t have to be permanent changes. I’ll tell you how.What to look for:

1. Phone bill – Ours was outrageous. Call and ask what they can do for you. You have been a customer for X long and you want some compensation or so and so is offering a better deal. Get rid of extra services you don’t need. Drop the extra line you have. Consolidate.

2. Electricity – Among other house bills I went for the electric bill. I LITERALLY cut the air conditioning OFF. I was determined, Plexus was a priority. If you can’t be that extreme be diligent about cutting off the extras, adjust the thermostat a few points at least. Take some clothes off or put more on depending on what climate you are in.

3. Food budget – It IS cheaper to eat healthier. It IS. “THEY” want you to think it is not, but it is. When you eat healthier foods and portions it can be done affordable. Again if it is important you will make it work. It may take effort, coupons, store specials… We go to primarily low/no carb diet. I only buy what we are going to cook and eat. I buy about 4 meats a week and some veggies with eggs and cheese. Buy cutting out the rice, bread, chips, crackers and all the other horrible sugar smuggling crap boxes we save TONS of money. And when you are on Plexus you don’t want all the sugar or foods.

4. Subscriptions – Seems everything these days comes in subscriptions. Netflix, Xbox, music services, make up, clothes, toys they all come to the house for only 9.95 a month. Well how many of those do you have? Do you NEED all of them?

5. Cable – Reduce, cut the premium channels or even get a 20$ antenna.

6. Recreation – This is a HUGE one for me. When we were broke we were broke. Cutting out concerts, sports and other recreation that can cost was not an option. I have so many people tell me they cannot afford Plexus and yet their Facebook is full of them drinking, partying, going to sports games and ALL kinds of money sucking fun. I don’t have anything against fun I’m just saying sick vs fun? No question! Dead vs fun? No question!

7. Eating out!!! – Talk about hidden expenses and SUGAR. I don’t even have to tell you how many people take almost daily picture of their coffees, meals and ice creams that can’t afford Plexus.

8. Movies – If you go to the movies a lot stay home and rent. If you only rent then rent less. Trim the budget.

I think I could go on and round these out to an even 10, but I think you get the point and also REALLY hate all the TOP 10 lists this time of year so I will stop here. Oh, not to mention all the money you will save from the medications you don’t need anymore and the cheaper clothes you can buy because you don’t have to pay for the extra material. There you go, are you happy, there is 10. So…

Make a decision to get healthy. Make some dissensions about your expenses. Now I still have one point to get back to. Why these changes don’t have to be permanent.
