In January of 2011 I was contently climbing my own personal mountain face with goals, plans and aspirations. A few weeks into the year life threw me off balance. By February, I found myself flailing in the wind. When my mother died I felt as if the ground I had been climbing was disintegrating in my fingertips. Thankfully, I was tied into faith, family, a business community and friends. They acted as an immediate response search and rescue crew and to this day continue to support me.

Out of adversity one can often find blessings. Now I’ve always been impressed with the caliber of people we have been blessed to work with at Essential Wholesale over the years. We truly have the most amazing team. But in January and February of 2011 the Essential Wholesale team stepped up to the plate and carried Essential U blog when I was preoccupied caring for my mother. Their diligence and hard work was astounding and you the reader greatly benefited.

What came out of that time was the uncorking of a new era for the Essential U blog, as my guest bloggers brought such a vast array of talent, experience and education to our readers that we couldn’t go back to the way things were without losing momentum.

Today we are unveiling the new and improved Essential U blog, which features the team of educators at Essential Wholesale. In business moving forward is crucial and I believe that had we taken one more step, without continuing to tap into the talents of our team, it would have been a move backwards. And so in June we started the groundwork for what you see before you today – the new, improved and updated Essential U blog platform.

Please welcome our team of educators: Alex Badcock, Rick Hume, Laura Badcock, Steven Borden, Kathy Steinbock and of course, me. You will find many guest posts and a growing team of educators as we expand our Essential U(niveristy) to bring you the most up to date educational material in the fields of business, aromatherapy, cosmetics, legislation, purchasing, skin care, spa and so much more.

You will find our new blog platform easy to navigate and to search for topics. Thank you to our creative Director Alex Badcock who supervised the project and everyone who put the entire summer into building this new and exciting Essential U blogsite.

It has been said that word of mouth advertising is one of the best and most elusive form of advertising. Word of mouth advertising requires that the person spreading highly about a company put their own reputation on the line every time they make a recommendation. There is no other business leader that I would more gladly put my reputation on the line for than Donna Maria Coles Johnson of the Indie Beauty Network.

Through years of experience working with Donna Maria, I know that each and every person I recommend to her will be treated with honesty and transparency. She will freely share her vast collection of valuable tools, ever growing knowledge base, and wealth of resources to help them build their businesses.

Donna Maria was a complete stranger to me when she showed up to speak at an Essential Wholesale customer appreciation event many years ago. I made all the products back then, and was very much behind the scene at Essential Wholesale. Dennis and Donna Maria formed a business relationship that was filled with laughter, knowledge exchange, and respect.

Over the years, Donna Maria has become one of my most trusted friends, mentors, cohorts in fun (like our Soaprah skit where we played first-time soapers -- including ear phones to protect our ears from lye fumes), legislation, and business. I know I can depend on Donna Maria for accurate information, to speak the truth to me if I need redirecting, and she will be my cheerleader when I need it. What is awesome is that I know she will do the same for all of her IBN members.

I never expected our business relationship to run so deep and that she would become such a dear friend, but sometimes you find life-lines in the most unexpected places. I recently interviewed Donna Maria so that I could introduce her to anyone who hasn’t met her yet, and to share with those who have a deeper understanding of the woman behind the Indie Beauty brand.

1.	You are always on the cutting edge of technology, social media and creating connections. What drives you to constantly be learning new things and providing new services?

First, I am not a fan of the term, "social media." I use it because people know what I mean when I do -- you know, Twitter, FaceBook, LinkedIn, etc. But the truth is that social media are just a type of technology, and my main point to everyone I teach is to use technology.

If social media works for you -- and I believe some aspects of it can work for everyone -- go for it! If not, don't panic.

Whether or not you use social media, the same fundamental rules of business and marketing apply. But what drives me to share the benefits of using technology (social media included) to comply with those rules is that it is the lowest cost way for small businesses to serve their customers and increase their bottom line.

And isn't that what business is all about? Serving people and making a fair profit while you do it.

That's what technology can help you do, and that's what drives me -- To teach small business owners how to use technology to achieve their goals.

2. What are the top services that you Indie provides that you believe give your members the biggest boast in their businesses?

IBN provides four types of services: discounts, social, promotional and educational. Here is an overview.

--> Discounts on Products and Services - IBN offers a variety of discounted services through our partners. Some of the most popular are products liability insurance at up to 60% to 75% off the market rate. We also offer discounts on consultants who provide services to small businesses, along with discount merchant processing services, discounts my services, discounts on industry publications, ingredients and more.

--> Social -- Through our social networking site, we connect over 7,300 passionate business owners in the health, beauty and lifestyle fields. The social site is open to the public, and is free to join. Come learn and share with us!

--> Promotional - IBN promotes its members across multiple media channels including the Indie Experience, a weekly newsletter published since 2000, the weekly Indie Business Podcast (which I have hosted since 2005), and our Twitter, FaceBook and other social accounts. The reach is well over 40,000 weekly and we use every bit of it we can to help our members spread the word about their passions and their products -- and to generate consistent awareness, which leads to new sales leads.

--> Educational and Advocacy - since education is the key to success in any field, IBN invests most of its resources educating its members. Our members have access to over a decade of content to help them to do everything from comply with FDA laws to issue press releases that get results. Members can learn on their own time, from credible teachers, and they are free to download and listen to the materials as many times as they want. Our private forum provides an easy option for members to discuss sensitive business matters they may not wish to share at the public social networking site. We also work with members to participate in state and federal lawmaking proceedings (both statutory and regulatory). This puts my training as an attorney to work for every single member. It is vital that small businesses, even those without any legal or public policy experience, learn how to interact with and positively influence elected and appointed government officials.

3.	What new services are you dreaming up or recently launched?

I recently launched my Indie Protege Network, my entry level program for people who are not quite ready for full IBN membership and products liability insurance, but who need credible information to help them start and manage their businesses successfully.

I have more up my sleeve, but I can't tell you yet. (Tee-hee!)

4.	You and I have fought side by side since 2007 against legislation that would negatively impact small businesses. Your background as a lawyer and business woman gives us an unparalleled advantage in the fight – what drives you to give so much of your time and energy to this nonprofit side of your business?

My members (including you, Dennis and the Essential Wholesale team) drive me. You and all IBN members work hard to make a living by producing products that enhance people's lives.

My life mission is the same as my business mission: to empower and encourage women and their families to maximize their potential through small business ownership.

I personally favor regulations that serve the public well. On the other hand, I do not favor regulations that are not necessary to protect and serve the public. Whenever I see a new law proposed that would burden small businesses without any corresponding benefit to consumers and the public, I scrutinize it closely and let my members know about it so we can discuss how to proceed as a trade organization.

I serve at my members's pleasure, and I always remember that. I consult my members every step of the way, seeking to be a valuable resource, and a partner in their success.

5.	You have been extremely transparent with your members every step of the way – what do you feel is the advantage and disadvantage of your transparent leadership style?

Call it transparency if you must. To me, it's just plain old honesty. There are no disadvantages to being honest. There are sometimes challenging consequences associated with it, but the long-term consequences of being dishonest are far more troublesome, and I prefer to avoid them.

I expect honesty from my members. How can I give them anything less?

Together, we challenge each other to be stronger, and as we become stronger, our businesses become stronger.

Thanks for sharing my vision and work at your blog, Kayla. If your readers have any questions, I hope they won't hesitate to ask me in the comments.

The ringing phone pierced my dreams and pulled me out of a deep sleep. Dennis and I had worked late through the night and clear into the morning hours. My exhausted body screamed in rebellion as I clumsily reached to silence the ringing. Caiden was only 3 months old so I had only slept in 2 hour increments. I wondered who could be calling knowing our chaotic schedule.

My question was quickly answered when mother’s tense voice came through the phone. “Kayla, I have good news and terrible news,” she said. I tried to wrap my mind around the possibilities of both bits of news but the weariness fogged my brain so I allowed the quiet to beat out the seconds as I waited for the news. “Your bother and Yihung just had the baby and everything is fine.” With the good news out of the way I braced myself for the bad news. “Go turn on your T.V., “ she said.

I made my way towards the sound of cartoons in the living room and asked Keegan to change the channel. Just as the image of one of the Twin Towers burning filled the screen a second plane crashed into the other tower. My mother and I both knew immediately that this was no accident; we had seen the results of terrorism against Americans on overseas military bases for too long to forget the signature of terrorist’s destruction.

All the remnants of sleep were flushed from my mind as I quickly woke Dennis. We closed the business down for the day and like so many Americans did that day, sat transfixed in front of the T.V. set. Our family was one of the blessed families that gained a family member that day and lost no one. My brother and his wife watched the Pentagon burn from the window of their maternity room.

We all prayed for the families as we tried to grasp the extent of this great loss. Our prayers mingled with the millions of prayers worldwide.

I often think of the early hours of September 11th when life seemed as normal as any other day until hate lashed out against America on American soil this time. Who could have imaged it as they boarded planes, went to work and lived their everyday lives what the day would hold?

What stays with me 10 years later are the hero’s that lost their lives. The hero’s that saved lives and the others that carried on after they had lost their loved ones. The resilience of the America people has been shown in the fact that our hearts linger on the lives lost but as a Nation it continues beating. Thousands of lost lives made an irrevocable imprint in world history.

Today – and everyday - let us never forget. The roads of thousands of lives took an unexpected turn on this day 10 years ago and today we should honor their memories. Their deaths had a ripple effect in the lives of the loved ones left behind.

There is more important message today than to take a moment to remember all of their lives.

Let us never forget as individuals, as a country, or as a global community.

Donna Maria of Indie Beauty Network, Lela Barker of Bella Lucce and Lisa Rodgers of Personal Care Truth recently alerted me to Assembly Bill A05059 The Safe Cosmetics Act of 2011 in New York. I haven't broken down all the details yet, but this looks like the work of Campaign for Safe Cosmetics. The language in this law is very close to what we have seen in Colorado, Massachusetts, California and Congress.

The scary thing is that I found lots of pending legislation in New York that in one way or another may impact our industry.

Here is everything I found in New York:

A.B.5059: The Safe Cosmetics Act 2011 creates an "authoritive body" to identify chemicals that can cause cancer or reproductive toxicity. Requires that any manufacturer of a cosmetic provide a complete list of the cosmetic products they sell in the state of New York that contains any ingredient that is a chemical idenified as cancer causing or toxic to reproductive system to the Department of Health by January 1, 2012.

S.B.525: this bill establishes that no itinerant vendor, except for a manufacturer, an authorized manufacturer's representative, or an authorized distributor, shall offer for sale baby food, non-prescription drugs, cosmetics, or batteries.

S.B.4354: amends the general business law, in relation to requiring sunscreen products to be labeled with a best if used before date and storage recommendations

A01456 which amends the general business law by providing special action for nail specialists aggrieved by their employer in case of a health and safety violation or retaliatory action. This bill is in Assembly Judiciary Committee.

S.B.4057: An act to amend the environmental conservation law, in relation to polystyrene loosefill packaging material.

S.B.1526: An act to amend the environmental conservation law, in relation to regulation of toxic chemicals in children's products

A.B.1473: prohibits the manufacture, distribution or sale of nail polish and nail hardener containing dibutyl phthalates (DBP), toluene, and formaldehyde and prohibits the use of such nail polish and nail hardener by appearance enhancement businesses. None of us make nail polish but this will be interesting to watch and learn from.

A.B.1661: Restricts the sale in New York of any mercury-added toy, game, cosmetic or clothing. This one will be interesting to watch because the FDA already restricts mercury in cosmetics. Would this New York bill trump the FDA regulations?

A.B.4036: Prohibits the manufacture, distribution and sale of toys and child care products, containing bisphenol-A or phthalates, which are intended for use by or upon a child under the age of fourteen years. This means that a baby lotion containing sweet orange essential oil would be prohibited in the state of New York. “Common contaminants include biocides and phthalates, and traces of heavy metals have been found in cold-pressed citrus oils.” Robert Tisserand

A.B.4435: Requires sunscreen products to be labeled with a best if used before date and storage recommendations.

New York Nanny State

I know that was a big chuck of news and each one of these will take careful reading and research, but don't let the sheer number of laws frighten you. I found that many of these were re-introduced after going nowhere in the last session. Based on their calendar it appears that the New York Assembly is out of session for 2011 but committees are currently at work. I don't see any scheduled for these topics.

All these state bills have made me feel very strongly that preemption is necessary for the cosmetic industry. We simply cannot run around the country fighting one bill after another and run our businesses. The patchwork quilt of different laws in every state would be business killers. Donna Maria did an excellent job explaining the issue on Indie Business Blog in Legal Soup: Are We Headed For a Patchwork Quilt of Cosmetics Laws?

We are busy asking questions, making contacts and researching how to protect the cosmetic industry from a patchwork of laws to follow from state to state and nationally. Stay tuned to Essential U blog and the State Cosmetic Laws Facebook page for up to date information on legislation and what we can do next.

Recently Lisa Rodgers, co-founder of Personal Care Truth had the opportunity to interview Don Havery with the FDA Office of Cosmetics and Colors in regards to the Voluntary Cosmetic Registration Program {VCRP}. I asked permission to guest post her interview here on Essential U.

Here is what Don had to say:

What is your role in regards to the VCRP?
I am the administrator of the Voluntary Cosmetic Registration Program (VCRP) program. I am responsible for daily operation, answering questions, troubleshooting the program when issues come up, and making changes to the program that improve its operation.

What is the VCRP?
The VCRP is an FDA program that collects information on cosmetic manufacturing establishments (facilities) and cosmetic products and their ingredients that are in commercial distribution in the U.S. The program has been in operation since 1973. In 2005 the program was modified to allow submission of information electronically over the internet which has made participation in the VCRP much easier.

Why should a manufacturer register with the VCRP?
The VCRP helps FDA in its mission to protect consumers. It also helps cosmetic manufacturers and distributors make informed decisions about ingredient use in their products. For example, if it is determined that a cosmetic ingredient presently being used is harmful and should be removed from product use, FDA can notify the manufacturers and distributors of affected products. Since the VCRP is the only source of information about what products are on the market, firms that do not participate in the program won't receive that information directly.

Information from the VCRP database also assists the Cosmetic Ingredient Review (CIR) Expert Panel in determining its priorities for ingredient safety review. The CIR is an industry-funded panel of scientific experts that regularly assesses the safety of cosmetic ingredients. Since cosmetic manufacturers are responsible for assuring that their products and the ingredients in them are safe, participating in the VCRP is one way of supporting the safety review process since VCRP data is used to by the CIR safety review program (See http://www.cir-safety.org).

How many manufacturer's are presently registered?
We currently have 1,168 firms that have filed 38,450 active products in the VCRP.

How does the FDA handle communicating to the companies registered in the VCRP?
Since 2005 when the electronic program was initiated, FDA communicates with VCRP participants primarily via email. More than 99% of current VCRP participants do so using the electronic program. For those firms that participate using paper forms, FDA communicates with them using traditional mail or by telephone.

Can a company register online?
Yes, online is the easiest and fastest way to participate in the VCRP program and there is no cost to participate.

How is the manufacturer's information used?
The VCRP data provides FDA with information on what products are currently on the market, what ingredients are used in them, and how frequently specific cosmetic ingredients are used. The data is also used to support the CIR safety review program. (See earlier answer.)

Do you have anything else to add to why a company should register?
Both the FDA and cosmetic manufacturers have a common interest in assuring that cosmetics are safe for their intended use by consumers. Since FDA does not have premarket approval authority for cosmetic products or their ingredients (with the exception of color additives), the VCRP is FDA’s primary source of information on what cosmetic ingredients are being used, and what products are on the market. The more firms that participate in the VCRP program, the more information FDA has, and the better able FDA is able to assure that cosmetics on the market are safe for the U.S. consumer.

If you are able, we would encourage you to get to Boston for this hearing to testify or go in numbers as a show of opposition. We have passed this information on to several of the trade groups who are planning to be there as well. Please don’t let this opportunity to stand up for your business go by. You can find how to get there by clicking here.

The hearing begins at 10:00 a.m. and if you want to participate you must sign up at the beginning of the hearing to testify. You do not have to register in advance. Prepare for about 3 minutes or less of remarks and be prepared to answer lawmakers questions. If you cannot appear to testify in person, you can submit a letter with your position and send it to the chairs of this committee. (See list below)

You can also request meetings in advance of the hearing with the sponsor and/or any member of the committee.

Some may wonder why we should bother with this state hearing, especially if we don’t live in Massachusetts. There are many reasons and here are just a few:

If you sell products into Massachusetts you will be impacted by this law. Even if you don’t sell there today your business may grow and one day sell into Massachusetts and other states. It is better to think too big than to think too small.

The most dangerous part of HO2361 is the fact that it establishes a special commission that specifically requires that a signer of the (now closed) Compact for Safe Cosmetics to have a seat at the table. This means that even if this bill doesn’t impact you the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics will be given the authority to help recommend and create more laws in the state of Massachusetts – and those bills might impact you. This group has already testified in Colorado that they don’t have any scientific proof that their claims against cosmetics and cosmetic ingredients. You can listen to her testimony here. It is dangerous to give a position of authority over cosmetics in the state of Massachusetts to an organization with an agenda, especially when they have no science to back up their agenda.

If this bill passes it will be burdensome to businesses as it will create another patch in the patchwork quilt of state regulations. There needs to be one standard set by the FDA on a national level in order for small business to thrive in America.

Even if you don’t feel like you would be heard, or are not comfortable speaking up, your very presence will make an impact. When a similar hearing took place in Colorado so many people showed up that they had to move rooms. This bill will harm the industry and we need your help to oppose it in mass. (Pardon the pun...)

If you can’t show up in Massachussetts that is okay, you can write the sponsor of HO2361 and make your voices known. But do it today…don’t wait till it’s too late. In Colorado so many people wrote emails and faxes that at the start of the testimony one of the members made comment of the overwhelming number of corresponds they received on the bill.

You can read more detail and the bill itself here.

Here is a list of bullet point concerns about HO2361:• Defines an “authoritive body” as “any federal, state, or private agency or formally organized program or group” instead of an authoritive body being defined as a scientific, research or fact based state or federal agency. An authoritive body should be an accredited organization that has factual information that can be backed by science and not be such a loose definition.

* A chemical can be classified as causing cancer or reproductive or developmental toxicity by an “authoritive body” by using information that includes, but is not limited to, chemicals known or reasonable anticipated as cancer causing based on the National Toxicology Report, carcinogenicity evaluations by the International Agency for Research on Cancer, classified as a carcinogen by the United States Environmental Protection agency, or classified as having adverse developmental or reproductive effects by the Center for Evaluation of Risks to Human Reproduction. Why is that “authoritive body” left wide open again here by not limiting information to international and federal organizations that are designed to research these exact topics? The door is left wide open for organizations with an agenda to “classify” chemicals without any science.

* The definition of a cosmetic ingredient includes, but is not limited to (paraphrased): chemicals that provide a technical or functional effect; incorporated into the cosmetic as an ingredient of another cosmetic ingredient; processing aids; substances added to a cosmetic during processing for their technical or functional effect; contaminants present at levels above technically feasible detection limits (that is parts per billion); contaminants that may leach from container materials or form via reactions over the shelf life of a cosmetic and that may be present at levels above technically feasible detection limits (that is parts per billion); components of a fragrance, flavor, or preservative declared individually by their appropriate label names; any chemical identified by the phrase “and other ingredients” and determined to be a trade secret; or any individual component of a botanical, petroleum-derived, animal-derived, or other ingredient that the Commissioner or the Director determines to be considered an ingredient.

* That is a very broad range definition of a cosmetic ingredient. It comes straight out of the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics language. This kind of definition would create an ingredient list for cosmetics that is unreadable, illogical and out of step with the rest of the nation and the world. For instance by simply using cocoa butter, olive oil and lavender essential oil your ingredient list would look something like this, but would actually be larger because of the parts per billion of potential “contaminates” from your packaging:

Olive Oil (Tri-Glycerides of Palmitic, Di-Glycerides of Palmitic, Palmitoleic, Stearic, Oleic, Linoleic, Arachidic Acid, Linolenic Acid, Squalene, Beta Carotene, Campesterol, Methylenecholesterol, Stigmasterol, Sitosterol, Fucosterol, 28-Isofucosterol, Stigmadienol, Brassicasterol, 7-Cholestenol,Ergostadienol, Avenasterol, Triterpene Alcohols, Tirucallol, Taraxerol, Dammaradienol Beta-Amyrin Germanicol, Butyrospermol, Parkeol, Cycloartenol, Tirucalladienol, 24-Methlene 24-Dihydroparkeol, 24-Methlenecycloartanol, Cyclobranol, 4-Methyl Sterols, Esters of Tyrosol, Esters of Hydroxytyrosol, Vitamin E (Tocopherols), Carotenoids, Oleuropein), Cocoa Butter (Tri and Diglycerides of Stearic Acid, Palmitic Acid, Lead, Oleic Acid, Linoleic Acid, Isoleic Acid, Beta Carotene, p-Hydroxybenzoic Acid, Vanillic Acid, Ferulic Acid, Syringic Acid, Phenylehtylamine, Theophylline, Aliphatic Esters, Aromatic Carbonyls, Caffeine, Theobromine, Diketopiperazines and Alkylpryazines), Lavender Essential Oil ( Cineole Octanol, Octanone, Alpha Bisabolol, Alpha Cadinol, Alpha Humelene, Alpha Phellandrene, Apha Pinene, Alpha Terpinene, Alpha Terpineol, Alpha Terpinyl Acetate, Alpha Thujene, Alpha Thujone, Beta Bisabolol, Beta Pinene, Beta Thujone, Borneol, Bornyl Acetate, Camphene Camphor, Cineolealpha Terpineol, Carvone, Caryophyllene, Carophyllene Oxide, CIS Alpha Terpineol, CIS Alpha Bisabolene, CIS Carveol, CIA Linalol Epoxide, CIS Ocimene, Citronellal, Citronellol, Coumarine, Cuminaldehyde, Eugenol, Furfural, Geraniol, Geranyl Acetate, Geranyl Butyrate, Hexanol, Hexyl Tiglate, Isoborneol, Lavandulol, Lavandulyl Acetate, Limonene, Linanlol, Linalyl Acetate, Methyl Heptenone, Myrcene, Nerol, Neryl Acetate, Oleanolic Acid, P Cymene, Rosemarinic Acid, Sabinen, Terpinenol, Terpinolene, Trans Carveol, Trans Epoxy Linalyl Acetate, Trans Linanol Epoxide, Trans Ocimene, Ursolic Acid).

* In the language of the bill a company would need to declare all contaminants in parts per billion. This would require premarket testing for these contaminants of every batch of finished products, especially for cosmetics that use natural ingredients. There are hundreds of potential contaminates found in nature that botanical ingredients have the potential to include.

* The state of Massachusetts would conduct random investigations on the cosmetics sold in the state. This would be costly for the cosmetic company to potentially defend itself and the state of Massachusetts to either build labs to conduct these tests or to pay an outside organization to test for them. This does not define who exactly would perform these investigations, who would interpret the results and what would happen to the company that is investigated. It also duplicates the work of international, national, private and public testing that is done already on cosmetics. Instead of relying on true authoritive bodies to tell the state of Massachusetts the toxicity and cancer potential of ingredients, it creates a whole new level and division of government.

* The United States Congress is currently considering a bill on cosmetic legislation. It seems prudent for the state of Massachusetts to wait to see what happens on a federal level regarding cosmetic regulation before creating a new layer of government on a local level for businesses.

* If Massachusetts passes this bill it will set a precedent for other states to pass different laws on the state level. A patch work of state laws for products that are sold nationally and even internationally will place an unfair burden on businesses to comply with a different law in every state.

In my last post, I wrote up a very short and sweet description of Essential Oil Steam Distillation. Recall that the essential oil contained in the plant is actually absorbed into steam, and once in the condenser, the steam/oil is cooled and thus reconstituted as liquid to be collected in the essencier. The oil is lighter and floats on top of the water for easy extraction, thus leaving the wonderful 'hydrosol' or 'distillate' water.

This brings us to today’s subject, hydrosols. Hydrosols are by-products of the distillation process; they’re the pure 'distillate' water that remains. They are relatively clear with the consistency of water and an aroma similar to — but not exact to — the essential oil. Hydrosols contain very small amounts of the essential oil, as well as soluble components of the plant material, and they offer an opportunity to use a well-diluted potency of a plant's essential oils.

We offer several hydrosols — or distillates, as we refer to them here at Essential Wholesale — and we sell sample sizes of all of them. We recommend that you purchase samples to be sure that the scent is agreeable to you. Here are some of the many uses for our distillates:

Add to your bath water for a lovely bath treatment

Use in your formula for the water phase in soaps, lotions and crèmes

Since many essential oils are contraindicated for cats and small dogs, distillates are gentle enough to be used on or near them as an ear wash, or to soothe hot spots

Wonderful as a room spray or added to your humidifier

Use as a compress for wounds, bruises or other injuries

Great to spray on your tired and sweaty feet

Use distillates to wash your yoga mat

Use as a mist or toner after cleansing, or to cool skin on a hot day

Ahhh, lovely, lovely hydrosols. Enjoy!
