The Iowa Department of Economic Development approved an agreement for the final $5.3 million in financial assistance to Poet LLC&amp;#8217;s cellulosic ethanol project underway in Emmetsburg, Iowa, according to a news release. The company is building a commercial-scale cellulosic ethanol plant that will produce ethanol from corn cobs.
