Didn't do it all morning and most of afternoon to see if there were anything like withdrawal type feelings, nothing. No anger, no thoughts of doing it increasing, nothing. Decided not to take the pills anymore, sniff or go home, taking the pills is just too inefficient, it's like a different (far weaker) chemical entirely. I don't know if the powder form is hydrochloride, I guess it could be because of the slight to moderate burn I feel, but it's not bad at all, though that could just be overall toughness I gained from my bout with opiate addiction and withdrawal.

Anyways, I'm thinking of documenting kava kava's effects next, I'll start next week so that I can have the end of this week to stop doing phenibut so I can be baseline for the next trial.

I'm tired of reading erowid experiences and wikipedia info that could be incorrect, so I'm going to try stuff on my self now, none of that weak SWIM junk, it's me. I'm not waiting for my idiot doctor to do their job and get me a referral to a psychiatrist or someone who can prescribe meds, so eff that mess, I'll do it how I've done it my whole life-by trusting in myself. Today I'll be testing how long it takes me to fall asleep when utilizing the following substances:
Valerian Root
Melatonin

The test begins around noon, when I get tired anyhow (I used to know my circadian cycle, but forgot and messed it up with too much studying and too many stupid ssri's and such, THANKS DOCTOR!)

I asked a friend of mine who is a musician and producer if he had anything that would help me get to sleep, and he said he'd send it over today, so I'll post that later also.

I actually totally forgot about this place, around whenever I made my last post, a bunch of things happened to me in short order, and I couldn't update at all due to several things occurring all at once, or twice. Anyhow, I've got another, better website now, and it's ALL MINE (cue maniacal laughter) so I'll be posting there now whenever I have the time and available mental capacity. Blogger was fun, but it;s time for me to move on to greener pastures. I enjoyed all the posts, friends, enemies and even spam bots that I met here, but I'm off to more profitable ventures. Sanctioned addiction?

I don't know if you read the post preceding this one, but in it I rambled on and on about how badly my wisdom teeth hurt and something about medicine. Anyway I spoke to my dentist since there will be some time between now and when I actually get the teeth removed, as I kind of wondered how long I would be on painkillers. The answer came to about two weeks, and that conversation was around a month ago, since my insurance stopped covering wisdom tooth extractions at the end of October. So I've been on hydrocodone for over a month now without even thinking about it. I figured I'd write about it here and see if I get any withdrawal effects in the next few weeks since I didn't renew my prescription. I never even felt that good while using it, but I did have to take two pills at a time after a week or so due to my tolerance increasing. I've dealt with addiction before, so if I have to again then I have to, and I'll take care of it with willpower, like last time (look at the book beneath the post!).

I'm off to look up ways to stop withdrawal symptoms, I'll see you guys later.

Finally got my stupid insurance settled and got something for my pain. I asked for vicodin or hydrocodone, at which the doc said "You sure know about pain meds don't you?" while looking at me like I was a junkie or drug dealer. I don't know how I kept my cool right then being in pain and being talked down to by a crappy doctor whose office is on the worst side of town, but I did. I told him that I had already taken aspirin and I didn't want to take too much when they don't even help. He finally gave me a prescription for hydrocodone WITH ASPIRIN, and when I asked if there was anything without aspirin he said "This one doesn't have aspirin, it's just got apap". Now, I know that those are the same things, but by this point I just wanted to leave, so I just left while mumbling passive aggressively. To top it all off the pharmacy said they couldn't fill the prescription until tomorrow.

Tooth Still hurting Or: A bit about pain

My stupid wisdom teeth are still hurting, and I've been popping generic vicodin like tic-tacs. It isn't nearly as painful at another incident involving a different tooth.One of my molars had begun to give of little zaps of pain and soon the pain had become worse still. I eventually got to the dentist and they looked at it and told me that they could do a root canal for $500, or pull it for $40. Once I had finished filling out the ubiquitous clipboard with a bunch of questions the dentist should already now, I got some xrays taken and then he got down to business.

I couldn't shake the feeling that he was doing things with slightly too much force. Anyhow After wrenching it around a bit, the tooth popped out and the dentist showed me what it looked like. It was a normal tooth on the top and bottom, but the left side had a huge, angry open sore. Then I got a prescription for pain killers and ended up using because of the pain from dry socket, which lead to mild withdrawal symptoms and a very strained liver.Thankfully I can counteract the dependency with dxm and some tinzanidine, if I can get any that is.

P.S= Milk thistle is really good for healing your liver which can help speed up the healing process.

Not Dead, teeth hurt

Sorry for not posting in so long, my wisdom teeth need to come out and they hurt so much I couldn't go three sentences without cursing like a gutshot pirate. Wisdom teeth suck, vicdoin es sucks, dentists suck and medical insurance that doesn't fully cover you sucks.

Well, I'm not posting from a library computer, so that's something. I managed to get the Acer Erecovery software started, and it started reformatting the xp partition for about a minute, then gave me an error and rebooted.

My ubuntu partitions are still fine though, and to be honest I'm beyond tired of putting up with constant problems and annoyances with xp anyhow, so I might just start down the linux path and become even more elitist when it comes to computing.

Anyhow, Sunday is when I chill out and get ready for the stress and cares of the upcoming week, and today has been almost entirely spent tooling about with my laptop, so I'm going to take the last of my kratom (Really good stuff, I think everyone should try it once), put on every episode of cowboy bebop and chill out so hard that I'll need to thaw in the morning. I'd like to start off this post by apologizing for not keeping up with my posting schedule, which I never stated because I worried that I wouldn't keep up with it. Anyhow, my netbook got a massive malware infection, and I'm pretty sure its part of a botnet now, so I've been trying to reformat it, but the drive that contained all of the files got corrupt, so I had to recover and rebuild the partition, and that threw off the installation of ubuntu I had on another partition, so I had to re-install ubuntu as well. I'm actually about to restore the xp installation right now, as in, as soon as I finish this post.

Anyhow, I tried the Siberian Ginseng, which I found out after some research isn't really Ginseng, and felt the effects after about two days of use. I felt more energetic than usual, and didn't have nearly as much trouble remembering as I usually do when trying to remember short groups of numbers for a few seconds (like reading a telephone number then going and entering it on the computer, for instance). The energy boost didn't feel forced or make me feel jittery, which is always a plus. Overall, I'd say it was a good purchase. Ikind of want to try real ginseng now to see if it's any better or worse than this.

Aside from that I'm about to start a new semester of school, and since I'll be taking mostly internet classes, I should be able to spend more time updating here, and was considering getting a real domain name for this place soon, as I'm really enjoying every aspect of blogging. Also past 6000 hits now, so thanks again to all my readers and fellow bloggers for all your support.

Charged up (sort of) like scarface

The things I ordered arrived a couple of days ago (calamus root,chorella and one other one that escapes me), but my computers been acting up so I've been busy fixing it while trying to register for school and whatnot. I'm not going to try them all at once, so I started with the calamus root. It felt a lot different than I thought it would. I had read a bit about it and how it has been used by al sorts of cultures going back thousands of years, and my favorite quote is from the Cree, who say that they can take calamus root and "travel great distances without touching the ground."

After reading this I pretty much ordered it on the spot, but for some reason I thought it would be a sedative type of thing, and I was wrong, it's a stimulant through and through. I recognized the signs as soon as it began to kick in: the mild euphoria, restlessnes, and the kicker for me, feeling like talking to anyone within earshot about anything at all.

It didn't have the bad effects of....other stimulants thankfully, so no irritability, running over words, headaches or nausea, and after a couple of hours it was over. I enjoyed it, played some fighting games and finally felt like I could keep up with the com, then played online and lost as usual. Overall it was neat, but I don't see myself taking it regularly, as I'm looking for something to help with depression, not jack me up for a few hours. I'll be trying the chorella next.

I've been pretty busy this week, between building a website for a client, signing up for the next semester of school and day to day stuff, but I'm not going to stop posting here, at least for now.

Passed 4000 hits earlier this week, hopefully I can stay interesting for the foreseeable future, unlike the almost endless sea of cookie cutter blogs out there about the most inane and worthless of topics. Like, really really worthless. So worthless I could actually make a blog about how awful some of these blogs are. I suppose along with that comes commenters that are just as lazy, unoriginal and mentally deficient. Anyhow, since this blog is supposed to have at least something to do with ethnogens, I ordered the following from iamshaman.com:

Ugh, thank goodness that's over. The shortest depressive episode I've ever had lasted part of a day, no more than a few hours. The longest I've ever had lasted six months almost to the day. They're different from person to person, and have been described a million different ways, but the best way I can describe mine is like having an endless gray fog surround everything on earth except you. It covers your friends and family, your job, hobbies, any desire or feeling as well, and leaves a totally empty feeling behind. The fog can come on at any time, and leave at any time, and once it does all you can do is get going again, and be glad that it's over.

I'm in the Depression-hole right now, so please excuse my righting. Anyway, If everyone stopped acknowledging time, what would happen? Like, not threw away their watches , just stopped experiencing time as a dimension? I don't think ant's can understand time, but we can understand ants by taking them apart and looking at them, that's how we learn. Air evaporates and begins the water cycle, plants bloom and die, but where do thought go once you think them? Are they able to be quantified? Some thoughts are obviously "heavier than others", but that doesn't explain anything at all. My confusion, awe and marvel are the only things I have for this question.

I've been like this all day, maybe its from the sleep deprivation.

Insomnia has been keeping me awake for the past three days, and if it wasn't obvious before, it probably is now. My attention span is a joke, I keep forgetting what I was going to say/write, and I have been sitting here for five minutes trying to figure out a way to finish this sentence. Punctuation is starting to annoy me right now, and I've been popping melatonin pills like tic tacs, along with valerian root caps, which smell like old socks, so I could probably use some tic tacs. My thoughts are doing that thing where they get all sporadic and random, and if I didn't have auto correct, ts post would be almost unreadable.I'm even downloading some sleep mp3 thing that claims to give you "guided visualizations to achieve restful deep sleep." We'll see how that goes, I guess. Also I'm finally able to sign up for classes, so I'm deciding between computer programming
(so I can force myself to get better at it) or music theory (so I can be even more elitist when it comes to music).

Also stop making comments that say "Daily support", I don't even post every day. While I'm on that subject, please don't say things like:

"I'm following you, follow me within a week" (Or else what?)

"nice blog, I NEED VIEW+FOLLOWS" (You'll always need them if you have to beg for them)

"GOOD INFO, CHECK OUT MY BLOG I KNOW YOU'LL LIKE IT"

If that's what you're going to say then I'd rather you didn't comment at all, I'll be okay.

It occurs to me that it might not be a good idea to post while irritable. If that's the case, just forget i ever said anything

Hello everyone, thanks for all your comments, I'll be at 3000 hits before the end of this week if it keeps up!
I've been pretty busy with college, especially since the geniuses at the college I attend screwed up everything and dropped all my classes for this semester. In addition to that, I've been a little out of it since starting on a new medicine the "doctor" prescribed me, so I'm actually glad I don't have class right now, since falling asleep in class doesn't exactly endear you to the professor. On a site related note, the rotating script didn't work correctly, so I just added a list of some blogs that I check every day over to the right (------------------------------------>)
If your blog is older than a few days, not full of referral spam, not about something asinine or insipid, and not filled with pornography , drop me a line and I'll add it to the list. I'm going to go and watch fist of the north star, catch you next time!
