Understand the business problems of the end user , and helps them solve their problems through the use and benefits of Intel relevant programs. Establish and maintain strategic relationships and collaboration with external partners , NGOs , universities, regulators and opinion leaders through a solid understanding of internal and community priorities. Built an extensive network of internal and external contacts – policy makers, industry influencers , policy makers to raise awareness of policies and programs relevant Intel . Represents organization before CAG partners and internal and external audiences , the Intel positioning as a thought leader . Internally, the successful candidate will interact and collaborate with the business development and marketing teams / PR in the organization of the country , and owners of related programs on the HQ side.

REQUIREMENTS:
Preferably have a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science, electrical or industrial engineering or business administration degree and an excellent academic record .
Being able to understand the dynamics of the ICT industry and government policies affecting the experience of minimum 5 years (or equivalent) in these areas.
Direct work experience in national politics, government , think tanks , groups of public interest or in the field of public policy of the company.
Policy experience , preferably with direct knowledge of the technology sector and the key issues that influence the adoption of ICT.
Must be able to understand the technological solutions and usage patterns and demonstrate value to customers .
Ability to conduct strategic discussions and planning with key accounts of the government, NGOs, academics in countries in West Africa with a focus on Nigeria and Ghana.
Experience incomplex work environments and a proven ability to exercise judgment, even in a crisis .
Excellent communicator with great interpersonal and presentation skills and the ability to write well and translate complex issues in a simple people who are not experts can understand language.
Initiative with the ability to think, plan and execute large projects.
Independent results motivated and strong customer focus, but also the team who can work with people from a wide range of training and experience
Management skills necessary project and project execution and attention to detail.
Fluency in English is a prerequisite , the French and local languages ??are a plus.

Job description:

The Plant Support Engineer is responsible for providing direct technical guide and support to the customer's staff on relevant operational and maintenance matters.
The job is located in Afam, Rivers State

Responsibilities:

Assist in determining relevant training for Customer's staff and its subsequent implementation. Train and guide any Power O&M Power Station employees, and periodically assess their ability and potential.
Implement relevant generic POMS (Power Station Management System) and adapt POMS guidance documents to reflect the requirements of the Contract and ensure that all procedures are followed. Consider and actively develop improvement potentials for all processes.
Comply with customer as well as Power O&M and legislative EHS requirements relevant to assigned duties and responsibilities.
Participate in O&M experience exchange events.
Takes over the responsibility of the Plant Support Manager in case of absence, including signing authority.
Assist the customer in improvement of relevant operations and maintenance procedures.
Analyse incident reports and suggest necessary actions
Analyse operational data relating to any contractual guarantees and obligations and if necessary, recommend corrective actions.
Advise and assist the Customer in planning and executing relevant maintenance activities and co-ordinate with the Owner/Operator and Power O&M for the preparation and planning of planned and unplanned inspection activities.
Identify initial spare parts, control Power O&M’s buffer stock and maintain the required stock availability, ensuring the timely availability of identified spare parts, consumables and tools for planned maintenance.
Help the customer in selecting tools and equipment required for maintenance.
Co-ordinate between the Customer, suppliers, and ensure that the Customer is aware of all modifications and related technical matters during planned and unplanned inspections.
Ensure that suppliers of services comply with all applicable Environmental, Health & Safety requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

B.SC or HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a reputable university
A minimum of 3 years post NYSC experience in commissioning, operation or maintenance of Power Stations or equivalent facilities. 2 of which must be in gas turbine/combined cycle plants associated with either plant control or thermal block.
Substantial knowledge of engineering practices, functions and processes involved in the operation and maintenance of a Power Station.
Knowledge of typical legislation associated with Power Station operation and maintenance.
An International experience would be an added advantage.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English language is mandatory.
Good organizational and negotiating skills

The role is located in Afam, Rivers State.

Responsibilities:

The main responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to the following

He will be responsible to carry out research to find out the problems and develops solution
He looks after the maintenance of the equipment and infrastructure available at the site
He helps in the installation process of new and advanced technologies interpreting the requirements specified by the research team and understanding the employees requirements
Tests machines that are already installed for their performance and safety
Maintains reports and hands them to the senior and concerned employees of the company
He may have to undertake many other responsibilities as they come
The field Service Engineer should be skilled at managing any kind of technical work at the field even with little supervision
They should have ability to work in adverse setting and climatic conditions
Sound ability to diagnose problems with existing equipment and fixing them is also essential for field service engineer
Should possess ability to interpret technical issues through the non-technical description provided by their customers

Qualifications and Experience:

B.SC or HND in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable university
A minimum of 3-6 years post NYSC experience gained in a power plant on complete overhaul/inspection/trouble shooting/alignment
Thorough knowledge about the constructional features and components of Gas Turbines
Excellent skills in mechanics, drawing, reading, measurement and lifting are mandatory.
Preferred experience in the company fleet 13D, 13E2, GE fleet Frame 6B, 9E.
Any previous training undertaken will be an added advantage.
An excellent verbal and written communication skill in English language is mandatory.
Self-motivated and detail oriented
Able to work under pressure and manage stress.
Able to work with little or no supervision.
Able to communicate and relate effectively with international teams.
Bi-lingual candidates will be given preference

The Output Lead will work closely with each of the other Output leadsto generate critical mass of men and boys supporters = as individual gender champions who will promote GEWE issues using both physical and virtual platforms The Lead will also facilitate and ensure effective coordination of V4C program in relation to working in partnership with international agencies leading on men, masculinity and gender transformation in implementing States as well as develop linkages and collaboration with other DFID programs, national, International partners and Civil Societies in safe space work.

Responsibilities:

Lead on changing attitudes and perceptions of 12,000 men and boys through virtual and physical safe spaces
Lead on development and delivery of a methodology for physical peer groups for adolescent men and boys (16-25) in post-secondary education.
Work closely in collaboration with Output 1 and 2 Leads to generate content for virtual based peer platforms targeting boys and men.
Ensure regular update of web-based content and monitor virtual platforms to ensure respectful and safe of web-based discussion
Lead on promotion of gender equality peer education within existing men's meeting structures.
Support State coordinators and implementing partners to recruit, and continually inspire V4C boys and men as Brand Ambassadors within post secondary institutions to promote V4C core messages using innovative approaches
Contribute to development 'lifestyle inspirational' brand platform; i.e. information on fashion, music, dance, religion, relationships ensuring it targets the interests of men and boys
Recruitment of 4,000 key influencers, to publicly commit to support selected Gender Equality and Women's empowerment issues
Technical lead in delivering the religious traditional and political leaders strategy aimed at building the capacity of key influencers to encourage gender equality and women's empowerment
Support innovative advocacy and campaign work with media and high profile personalities
Build networks and campaigning with men and boys to promote the 'new norms' around gender equality and women's empowerment

Knowledge, skills and abilities required:

Minimum of a Masters degree in social sciences, humanities or a related discipline or (Chris what is that term which allows someone with out a masters but with a degree and lots of experience to apply)
Minimum of 3 years working with groups of men and boys on issues relating to gender, including: working with men and boys for gender equality and women's empowerment; exploring masculinities; to reduce violence against women and girls; or to promote equality within sexual health
Ability to facilitate group sessions with men and boys exploring gender equality in a supportive non threatening approach
Excellent facilitation skills
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Proven written skills
