Android Grundlagen - Einrichtung und Download der Entwicklungsumgebung

Bevor Ihr mit der Entwicklung von Android Apps beginnen könnt, müsst Ihr zuerst auf Eurem System die Grundlagen schaffen, um Apps entwickeln zu können. Hierzu benötigt Ihr ein SDK(Software Development Kit), das von Android auf der Android Developers Homepage downgeloadet werden kann. Es handelt sich hierbei um eine spezielle Version der Eclipse ADT (Für Windows und Mac System). Alternativ wird auch noch das Android Studio in einer Beta Version angeboten, welche ich jedoch nicht nutze, weil ich deutlich besser mit Eclipse klar komme.

Da Android zum Großteil Java nutzt, müsst Ihr jedoch sicherstellen, bevor Ihr Eclipse starten könnt, dass die neueste Version der Java SDK auf dem System installiert ist. Hierzu müsst Ihr einfach auf der Java Homepage das benötigte Paket downloaden und installieren.

Das Eclipse-ADT-Bundle bietet alles, was man braucht, um Android Anwendungen zu entwickeln, einschließlich der Android SDK-Tools und einer Version der Eclipse-IDE mit integriertem ADT (Android Developer Tools), um die Android-App-Entwicklung zu optimieren.

So richtet Ihr das ADT-Bundle ein:

Zip-Datei entpacken und an einem geeigneten Ort speichern. (Um die vollständige Funktionsfähigkeit zu gewährleisten, sollte man keinen Ordnernamen ändern oder irgendwelche Dateien löschen)
Nun kann man Eclipse im Eclipse Ordner starten.

Eclipse-ADT ist nun schon fertig installiert und kann verwendet werden. Jedoch solltet Ihr noch einige Updates vornehmen, um die Software auf den neuesten Stand zu bringen. Hierzu klickt Ihr auf den Android SDK Manager Button in der oberen Leiste

Nach einigen Sekunden öffnet sich der Android SDK Manager

Um es möglichst einfach zu halten, empfiehle ich einfach alle Tools, Extras und die neueste Version der Android API(application programming interface) zu installieren(In der Regel ist schon einiges Installiert). Hierzu wählt Ihr einfach diese Ordner aus und klickt dann auf Install packages. Nun müsst Ihr nur noch die hierfür benötigten Lizenzen akzeptieren und die Installation beginnt (Dies kann einige Minuten dauern).

Ist die Installation abgeschlossen könnt Ihr den SDK Manager schließen und Ihr könnt mit der Entwicklung von Android Apps loslegen. ;)

Mit dem H97 Pro Gamer hat Asus eine Haswell-Platine für Spieler vorgestellt, die mit einigen speziellen Audio- und Netzwerk-Features punkten soll. Darüber hinaus bietet es einen M.2-Port und zwei SATA-Express-Schnittstellen.

Asus hat mit dem H97 Pro Gamer seinen jüngsten Spross aus der hauseigenen Platinen-Abteilung vorgestellt. Wie der Name bereits offeriert, will man mit dem Board vor allem bei Spielern punkten. Dazu hat der Hersteller nicht nur laut eigener Aussage hochwertige Komponenten verbaut, sondern bietet auch spezielle Netzwerk- und Soundfeatures. So ergänzt Asus das Intel Gigabit Ethernet mit der aus eigenem Hause stammenden Game First II-Technologie. Eigene Analysen hätten ergeben, dass der Ping bis zu achtmal besser ausfällt, wenn Game First II aktiviert wurde.

Die Audioverarbeitung soll unterdessen durch die Supreme FX-Technologie verbessert worden sein. Damit der Soundchip von elektromagnetischen Interferenzen geschützt ist, verfüge er über Abschirmung. Passend dazu stelle ein Satz Audiokondensatoren von Elna einen warmen, natürlichen Klang sicher. Selbstredend lobt Asus in seiner Pressemitteilung auch andere Komponenten der Platine. Sie seien handselektiert und garantierten eine hohe Lebenserwartung. Hervorgehoben werden integrierte Schutzschaltungen, hochwertige Kondensatoren und DIGI+-Spannungswandler.

Ansonsten bietet das H97 Pro Gamer eine solide Aussattung, die allerdings auch mit den typischen Beschränkungen des H97-Chipsatzes daherkommt. Von den beiden PCIe-x16 Ports ist nur einer auch tatsächlich mit 16 Lanes angebunden. Der zweite bietet deren lediglich vier. Ansonsten finden sich auf der Platine noch zwei PCIe-x1-Slots und drei altmodische PCI-Buchten. Während zwei SATA-Express-Schnittstellen und ein ebenfalls über zwei PCIe-Lanes angebundener M.2-Sockel geboten werden, beträgt die Zahl klassicher SATA-6-Gbs-Ports vier. Neben den obligatorischen Monitorausgängen finden sich vier USB-3.0-Ports auf dem I/O-Panel. Schnelleren RAM als DDR3-1600 unterstützt die Platine nicht.
