I know that I haven't posted in a while. I always seems to forget to record anything remotely interesting. All of the footage that I do get is extremely boring and unusable. I've tried to make videos with the boring footage that I do have the last few months but after my upgrade to Windows Vista, I've been having some trouble with getting the new (but not improved)movie maker to work. Today I pulled out my camera to record some stuff and realized that I had forgotten my batteries at home. Joy. I'll be working on getting some content up shortly.

Subscribe to TV Shows With Azureus

I download a lot of TV shows from bittorrent which isn't hard if you're behind a season or two in the show because you have many torrents to choose from and know that whatever episode you're looking for, it's most likely out. The problem is that when you catch up to a show it's hard to decide which torrent to download or where to find them the second they come out. The solution is here (and has been for a while). It's a plugin for azureus called RSS import. With it you can subscribe to an RSS feed that will automatically download the newest episodes of your favorite TV shows, right when the torrent is uploaded. To find out how to do this go here. After you learn how to basically do it, use tvrss.net to find a show that you like. Add criteria to your search like what encoding or distribution group you want to get episodes from until there are no duplicate torrents (same episode different rip or encoding group). Once you have a page with episode titles with no duplicates like BSG3x01, BSG3x02,BSG3x03 etc, copy the 'search-based rss feed' into your azureus plugin and use the instructions from the page I linked you to, and your show will download without you having to worry about what torrent site to find it on or when to start looking for it. I just used this today when a new ep of a show I watch was going to be aired on TV. Worked like a charm first time.

The video is about the raid on The Pirate Bay and the Swedish piracy movement. I in no way played a part in the making of this film. I don't really think that the people from the Pirate Bay of all places would give a crap if I spread the word so enjoy! Try to watch the whole thing. There are some boring parts but close to the end they make very good points about the whole movie industry losing money thing.

I had some friends over today to play guitar hero (Not my game but at my house.) and as usual, after playing for quite a while, we got to the portion of playing the game where we get so bored of it that we decide to play it on easy and just ROCK OUT as hard as possible. Only one of my friends however rocked out hard enough to make a decent video (not that the video was his motivation). Enjoy this. It's quite amusing to me but maybe you would have had to be there or know my friend Kevin to appreciate it. I can't believe that I actually have permission to post this on the internet but enjoy! I was only able to post this on the condition that I title it 'Guitar God-Kevin'.

My computer is fixed and I finally have edited the video I took of the last day of school. I had to cut out a lot of footage to make the video short enough so maybe I'll make a video with the extra footage later. I have changed my compression settings to make the video look better. Let me know if it makes a big enough difference on quality to justify the size.

Computer Crash 2.0

(I had to repost this because in mefeedia, my embeded video didn't show up but instead some War in Iraq video showed up in its place.)

I recorded this a while ago but I finally found a site called Jump Cut with an online video editor so I was able to post it a little earlier than a couple days from now when I get my computer fixed. Sorry about the weird red hue but my camera absolutely sucks and I don't have an equalization filter on this computer.
